today while i was watching some videos on youtube, my cat jumped onto my lap. and she was just watching with me. i saw her little head move to follow isaac as he glided across the screen like it was one of those videos for cats with the moving fish.

Yeah, in retrospect, I understand the Mother thing a lot more now. I think it was the panic of the moment that had me stumped at first, but after reading through the event again I realize they basically just explain it to you. Still wild though. We have been getting so much bloodfiend lore.

Regarding Dante…

I think this instance stands out to me so much because this is the first time Dante’s synchronized with someone’s feelings, rather than just their thoughts or memories. I’m not sure if this is something they can always do or it has to do with the stress of the moment, but it does feel significant.

It’s also not immediately connected to the Blade Lineage intervallo since that meltdown occurred when Dante was trying to “remember” something about sins and Peccatula. But I do think it’s interesting that the same visuals and sounds are used. There’s gotta be some connecting thread…

I have to read up on your theory because the idea of Dante being an actual baby Star is really fun! The star imagery in places like the prologue is still very vague so it’s interesting to consider what it might mean…

Also sidebar I am getting increasingly concerned about my boy Gregor, the whole intervallo starts because his body is making a weird creaking noise (which could just be age or the mutations of his body but then why does Dante say we never found the reason for it at the end?), then he’s omitted from the strength rankings because of his “potential” (which I’m sure Hohenheim doesn’t give out liberally, considering his background with “potentiality”), and just the fact that Gregor has been ignored or treated like the butt of the joke in recent Cantos makes me worry we’re building up to a disaster of some kind…

hey so what happened with dante. when don took the shoes off. dante freaked out again. what happened with that.

you could argue it's don's influence but dante was THE ONLY ONE TO REACT LIKE THAT. like heathcliff was fine. yi sang was fine and he was LITERALLY IN THE ROOM WITH HER. THIS WAS A DANTE ONLY THING. WHAT HAPPENED

it could just be dante's synchronization with don that caused it, but heathcliff specifically compares this to the time back in the blade lineage intervallo where dante has a meltdown:

i can't confirm this but i think the exact same ambient track plays for both events does this mean something...HELP...

there's also the same glitch/blur effect though it's much more subtle this time than in the blade lineage event

though synchronization could definitely still be what's going on here it feels so significant..i wonder if it's like dante getting overwhelmed by the sin of the bloodfiends' thirst...their lust or gluttony for blood?

every time we get the tiniest crumb of anything about dante i go on a theory spiral like someone help me out here does this mean anything or am i looking into this too hard IDK AAAAAAAA

Some of you may know that I was recently in Palestine.

While there, my resolve to do everything in my power to help only strengthened, and I came back wanting to check in on a few of the campaigns I had adopted. To my disappointment, a couple of them were frozen or reported, even though they had been tirelessly vetted and verified.

The worst part is that there are talks of a temporary ceasefire happening again, with the Rafah border crossing opening once more, and my friend Fidaa fears that after all of the hard work, she might not be able to get her two young children (a toddler and a baby) out. She is their sole provider right now.

So we have set up a temporary fundraiser for her on Chuffed, while we work to get her funds unsuspended (if we can). We have to act fast. Please know that two things are true: giving even a very small amount helps, and if you are unable to right now, spreading this campaign and getting more eyes on it helps.

The goal is $15,000 USD. We're starting this off at $285. Please help me get eyes on this.

DON QUIXOTE MANAGER OF LA MANCHA LAND YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE....animations look super cool and i love how they change based on the other bloodfiends in the party. must pull on aesthetics alone though im sure she'll be super powerful. must complete the lamanchaland quartet

not sure how i feel about the dispenser change. i do think people are a little too quick to doompost about it - all in all, waiting one week to dispense new ids is not a huge deal and is still leagues more generous than most gachas. but i also understand people being frustrated about it. its one of those things i think we have to see an official announcement on before we come to conclusions. as a whole as long as this doesnt spiral into greedier decisions i think i can live with it

intervallo reruns are cool! its neat that they'll be adding additional ego and announcers too. obviously its nothing new story wise but its pretty standard for a live service game and gives them more time to work on new stuff. and if the rewards are the same it means more tickets heheheheheh

ARKNIGHTS COLLAB IS MENTAL...i dont play arknights and dont plan to but the fact they scored a collab is pretty awesome, especially considering the games are friendly fandoms? true limited ego is a bummer but not surprising considering licensing is an issue with things like this. probably not a must pull for me but depends on the designs. also im curious how they will justify this in canon (if it even is canon).

reducing the amount of 00 ids is a bummer and a lot more of a negative to me, i hope they reconsider it. i understand they may be less fun to design from a gameplay perspective but i think they are important to keeping the game f2p/low spender friendly. like i am a low spender (usually just buying bp) and i almost never pull on banners with just 000s/ego unless it has something i really want on it. so i dont really know if it will really increase profits? it depends what the future banner schedule will look like

identity skins are interesting? not sure how to interpret it tbh. feels like it would be kind of hard to implement with things like multi coin attacks and aoes? but i guess thats why its more of a stretch goal.

overall pretty banger stream 8/10 i love the city i live in
