A few days ago, I got permission from Tony Domenico to create a dramatic reading of his most recent work: 3D Workers Island. I am incredibly proud of this. It is my first ever full-fledged attempt at making a reading of something and I think it came out pretty good. I'm super happy! I hope you all enjoy it too. I may do more readings in the future, we'll see.

3dwi.scr character card analysis
while re-reading 3dwsi.scr, i realized that the character card we are provided isn't exactly... normal. i also thought it would be fun to post this as a neat little analysis and for me and others to reference when drawing these guys!
pat is in the normal angle, but where her bangs are long enough to cover where her eyes would be. this could be a symbol of pat turning a blind eye to amber's abuse, her enabling of such, and ignorance about how much it's hurting amber.
rebecca's body is facing the right way, but her head isn't. she is looking directly at you, the viewer. (when i caught this, i was honestly spooked.) you can tell by the lighting. i'm not exactly sure what this signifies beyond this being a display of self-awareness, but it may just be that.
joe is at the normal angle and, at first, appears to be normal. but his sleeves are incredibly uneven. his right arm has a long sleeve, while his left is short and reveals a bracelet. i'm still not sure if this is a regular accessory or not, but if we are to believe that he's with rebecca, it may be an engagement bracelet. as for the symbol on his hat... idek
amber is slightly hunched over in the normal angle. the only other detail of note that comes to mind is that her skin matches with Stage 0 of GoodKid's made up disease, Cutilacunae. i thought her skin looked somewhat reddish throughout, and i believe it's a nod to that. also, seemingly not as interesting, she is the only character with tied hair.
holland is at the normal angle, and i honestly thought she was normal for the longest until i realized her skin is slightly grey for whatever reason. pat's skin is kind of like this, but much lighter and less noticeable, so i think this is just a case of genetics. other than that, she's fairly normal with no irregularities to be seen.
grace is not facing the viewer, ever, throughout the whole story. she is still angled to the left though. she is also the only other character besides pat to have hair going over her face, in this case completely obscuring where her facial features would be. she's also much taller than the other 2 kids, which made me think she was an adult for a while. this could make her connected to GoodKid. GK is stated to be 14 (born in 1985), and while grace's age and DOB is never stated, this could explain why she is taller than amber and holland.
#yes yes yes#very good detail abt amber too#the symbol on joes hat may be the workers island logo that changes between the center being the world and the red house cant get sc rn#my own headcanon slash theory in regards to amber is that shes mixed race bc of the pat/rebecca afair#(gender doesnt rly matter here just roll w it)#so the hairtied may read as like a high pony that curls make it look like a bun in this simple hairstyke#same goes for the slightly tanner skin though the redness is def smth to note#idk why rebecca faces rhe viewer thats scary#also pat jist has the karen haircut#grace seems older than amber and holland but she isnt an adult otherwose she would be included in pjr pin#imo
