Kenji interested Kwon's style since he was a student of the infamous Master Kim Sun-Yung. But was quickly disinterested when seeing him bully his American friends.

Axel Kovačević is young martial artist who was male captain of Iron Dragon dojo for Sekai Talkai. After the tournament he came international student of Miyagi-Do.

Biography:

Axel Kovačević was in born in Croatia, to unfortunate parents. Despite his hardship, he manage to have a help childhood. But the age of 4, Axel were murdered, leaving him an orphan.

At age 9, he decided to take Iron Dragon Dojo, where he met sensei. His training tough and even damaging this got to be strong and powerful in his fighting. Most of his teen years has traveling around the whole, competing the tournaments and winning them.

Personality:

Despite being arrogant, he is shown to contain that with a calm and intimidating personality that strikes fear into the hearts of everyone that stands in his way. While he is just as disciplined as Zara, if not more so, he is also low-key. He does not show that much emotion when fighting his opponents, but prefers to reveal his battle cry at the end of fighting his opponents when he wins.

However, he is shown to be extremely jealous of Miguel after learning that Sam, the girl Axel had a crush on, is in a relationship with the latter; he's prone to glare at Miguel and then bump into him, which leaves Miguel confused until Sam told him what happened. As such, Miguel can see that Axel wasn't able to let go and move on. This is likely because Axel has never been allowed to have feelings for others or even have any fun due to Sensei Wolf's harsh training towards him. So when he developed a crush on Sam, this was something he’d never experienced before and didn’t want to lose it.

Axel is also basically the definition of a robot who follows orders to the end and does not feel anything in the process. This is why Demitri compared him to the Winter Soldier. Axel has never been able to think for himself. This caused some conflicting feelings for Axel when he accidentally more or less killed Kwon, as he had likely never taken a life before then.

When Kenji Okumoto and Mika Barnes confronted with this he became even more defensive about his relationship with Wolf, not wanting admit that he could really not be treated as well he thinks he is .

When he fought Mika and defeated, he didn't feel doing it. When Kenji fighting him, he noticed was whaling on the same way Wolf does. When he asked him he wants to beaten like Axel couldn't even comply since it felt he feelings two of him.

After he loss to Kenji, his loss his will to fight, even himself against Wolf. But when Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence came protected for the first time he felt safe.

Axel, without a dojo or purpose, took Sam and Kenji offer to join Miyagi-Do.

Axel, knowing how he has been through, when he heard Kwon's backstory, due them in the same awkward positions, they bonded their troubled past.

Fighting Style:

Axel is not only one of the strongest opponents seen on the Series but also one of the most dangerous as well. Axel showcases an impressive fighting style characterized by brute strength and exceptional martial arts skills. Trained by Sensei Wolf at the Iron Dragons dojo, he excels in both offense and defence. During the Sekai Taikai tournament, he demonstrates his ability to seamlessly evade attacks and capitalize on openings, as seen when he effortlessly dodges strikes from Kwon and Yoon before taking them down. he was also able to block strikes from Robby, countering with a blow to his face hitting him so hard, he starting bleeding and also leaving a scar on his face in the process.

His resilience stands out; he barely flinches from powerful kicks, highlighting his toughness. In his semi-final match against Robby, Axel counters strikes with ease, quickly building a lead. His dominance is further evident during a brawl where he outmatches both Miguel and Kwon, showcasing his ability to handle multiple opponents.

Axel's size, combined with his extensive training, makes him a formidable presence on the mat—one that instils both fear and respect in his opponents.

Despite this Axel seems to have flaws with protecting his left side. As Wolf scorns and abused him for even after scoffing what he thinks he did wrong as Axel fails twice on keeping his guard up on his left side.

This flaw was exploited by Kenji who realized and continuously struck like Wolf does, it being a big factor to his loss.

Until Miyagi-Do, Daniel and Chozen taught how to better protect his left, including the drum technique.

Biography:

Kwon was to ruthless students of Master Kim Sun-Yung. From a young age, they showed little to no love to him. He always forced to be strong hardned young man anything to reach the top.

This turned into ruthless and competitive. While growing he developed a hate and love bond with Yoon, the best student at the dojang.

Personality:

Kwon was an sinister and rebellious student and person, choosing to fight his own way and not following Kim Da Eun's instructions. He had a lot of arrogance and he did not respect anyone other than himself. He in particular had a dislike towards the then top student Yoon Do-Jin. He also had a lot of pent up anger and vengeance in him, and after being advised by Kreese to give his anger purpose, he aggressively beats up Do-Jin and his friends, leading to him becoming his dojang's top student.

When he first made met Miyagi-Do, he quickly to antagonize them, espically Robby Keene, who's girlfriend on his, pretending that they're together now.

Kwon tried Kenji Okumoto, he never got this much push from such a strong and righteous fighter. After trying a fight with Axel and Sam. Kwon found Kenji training the beach. When he challenged him for and saw his trans scars, he mocked from not being a man. The former didn't fell his mind games, showing the confidents his abilities, a lack of concern for his threats.

Kwon, drive and ego to be best causes him any rational, just blindly attacking Robby and Axel who got hand-upper on him. When Kenji stopped disarm and kicked him away, despite Kwon knocked down, he saw Kenji protect the both from Axel.

After the brawl, when Kwon confused when he saw Kenji, asking him why he protected him from Axel instead continuing to fight him. Kwon thrown by his saying that's what a great fighter should do.

Kwon thrown off balance could barely focused himself he fought Kenji in their match, just thinking about he has done. Another part of him just push it all down does all out Kenji, trying overpower him. But Kenji just simply block and shoved, Kwon realized that Kenji was going easy on him. This shocked Kwon out of his rage. When he got defeated, Kwon throw by the sympathy Kenji gave him.

When he found Axel was being by his Sensei, he reflected off his training, and realized how mistreated he was. This causes him resign from Kim's Dojang.

Eventually he approach by Chozen who let join his dojo. Kwon shocked, hesitantly accepted his offer.

While training until Chozen, he learned all about Mercy, Respect, and Honor. Kwon came awkward around the Miyagi-Do finds himself relating to Axel who is social awkward like him. He eventually found Tory Nichols and Mika Barnes confidants, with him relying the former as ward for his romantic life.

Fighting Style:

Kwon’s martial arts foundation is rooted in the original Cobra Kai style, developed by Kim Sun-Yung and based on the traditional Korean art of Tang Soo Do. With extensive training in this style, Kwon has honed his skills over many years.

His fighting approach showcases advanced kicking techniques; mainly involving multiple combination kicks mid-air, advanced rotation kicks, or both, often demonstrated through impressive board-breaking displays. These powerful kicks are complemented by his defensive maneuvers, which create openings for devastating counterattacks. One of Kwon’s signature moves is the two-handed "Viper Chop," a technique he has refined within the Cobra Kai framework. His punches carry significant force, capable of momentarily incapacitating opponents.

In addition to his striking abilities, Kwon possesses remarkable agility and acrobatic skills, executing maneuvers not typically seen among other Cobra Kai students. His aggressive "no mercy" mindset, central to the Cobra Kai philosophy, further amplifies his danger as a fighter.

During his match against Do-Jin, Kwon effectively channels his pent-up anger, using his skills and awareness of Do-Jin's predictability to secure an easy victory. He also swiftly defeats two other students associated with Do-Jin.

When he fought Kenji Okumoto of the Okinawan Miyagi-Do and Axel Kovacevic, he angered better as the ladders are stronger fighter than him. Causes his fighting becomes more sloppy than before.

On during his final match against Kenji, they were fighting evenly. Kwon used all his rage on Kenji, but eventually he loss his anger. Causes to lose his touch.
