The beard lyric hints towards the slang term for a “beard” which is a person who marries someone with intention to hide their sexuality. He’s saying Drake grew a beard literally and figuratively - in the fact he’s hiding him being attracted to kids.

that tonal shift between Meet The Grahams and Not Like Us is absolutely wild to me in hindsight. Plus it felt like a direct response to all the people sleeping on Kdot's banger/bop credentials.
