I've been relatively quiet for the most part but I've seen the constant bullshit that's been happening. It's all performative, pearl clutching and fetishizing but let this be known Buck and Tommy are here to stay so get used to it you fucking delusional toxic idiots #911onABC
Tommy notices how Buck seems down and asks about it. Buck opens up about trauma and Tommy reciprocates (which btw is a great set up for Gerrard being back as captain... Like the potential for Tommy season 8 stuff???)
And then when Buck decides to turn the conversation into flirting, Tommy matches his energy again.
Honestly, I love the BuckTommy dinner scene for a lot of reasons but it feels like a full circle moment in some ways! Buck didn't even know he was bi at the start of the season but had unknowingly been flirting with guys for years (TK Strand anyone?). It is so refreshing to see him in the finale intentionally flirting with his boyfriend! He is empowered and embracing himself and I for one am all for it!

We can’t let this stand. We have to put our money where our mouth is and stand up for queer representation and queer people, especially with pride just around the corner.
the whole daddy issues scene just confirmed even further that bucktommy is not going to last
it feels so superficial and this is not what buck has been looking for since season 1
he’s clearly throwing tommy a bone and trying to connect with him by talking about things with actual meaning but tommy all but ignores him and turns it sexual
buck wants something real and he’s just not going to get that from tommy
For me, Tommy's response was perfect. Look at how cautious and worried he looked at Buck...
He gave Buck the opportunity to talk about it or deflect, and when Buck did the latter Tommy eased up, laughed over Buck's deadpan "exactly" and also opened up about his experience.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: that man knows how to handle his Evan
