// Agatha was born in a big family, even though she was amongst the older siblings- she was still surrounded by brothers. The girl needed to assert herself, and fighting/arguing- having these explosive episodes was her way to handle them. In a way, this could explain why she is so short-fused. Her younger siblings used to be specialists, to get on her nerves.

Obviously this behavior wasn’t well received by her parents, but due to the sheer large number of children they had to look after on top of their hard/busy life on their land they didn’t do much in the way of stopping her.

💀:  Which of your muses would probably fight each other if they met?

I’m giving this answer it’s own post, because of how relevant it is to my muses:

Agatha would fight on the spot:

Rowan, out of sheer spite because he stood by Oak’s side when her fallout with the professor happened.

Blaine:

Morty, the man has been annoying- pestering him about his vocal support for the destruction of the pokemon tower.

Pryce:

Morty, he brought this upon himself for being a brat and showed himself to be a snake towards his colleagues.

Barry:

Palmer, he always wants to battle his father! He wants to show him his progress, whenever he can.

Lance, a boy can dream right? He is a huge fan of Lance and wants to see those Dragonites in battle;

Brendan, Hoenn’s newest champion. He has heard his story, and would love to have the honor to fight against someone who reminds him of his friend Dawn.

Morty, Blaine, Pryce and Juan, they are gym leaders he needs their badges for his collection.

Palmer:

Lance and Steven, maybe there could be a lot more behind his friendly banter with the League members after all. He wants to show, the frontier’s superiority to their rival organisation, and he has the skills to rival most champions.

Drake:

Juan, he has crossed his line a few too many times in the past. He can’t wait for his chance, to deck that fancy looking face for good;

Rowan and Blaine, they are researchers he hates these types of people. He has the misconception, that they will try to steal his pokemon from him. Also, Rowan insists in bugging him about his beliefs that they are related to each other;

Palmer, the man has had a few runs in with Steven. He isn’t someone allowed, near him.

Lance:

Palmer, just to get that smirk off his face. He can’t stand that man for long;

Steven, just to further taunt and ruin his reputation and prove himself to be the superior trainer out of them;

Riley:

Morty, if they met each other. Riley would be immediately intrigued about the man’s non existent aura, and would definetely try to do some digging on him. Something that Morty wouldn’t allow;

Brendan:

Tabitha, if they ran into each other again. It would be the end of Tabitha’s disguise as Homura, Brendan wouldn’t allow him to seek out redemption or forgiveness.

I’m doing this on muses that have no ties to the League, OR they didn’t last that long in it.

Explanations under read more:

Steven Stone: Hoenn’s champion for 5 years, he was defeated by Brendan 2 years after taking over this position. Despite no longer being a champion,  his skills in battles are still as sharp as ever.

Palmer: I haven’t had the chance to touch much on him, throughout the years. But there’s a good reason, why he stands as the Leader of Sinnoh’s Battle frontier. He surpasses any of his colleagues’ skills by a milestone, and throughout his career he has had the opportunity of challenging champions (those who came before the likes of Lance, Steven, Cynthia, etc.). 

Barry: This is more related to what he will become, when he is older. He may be Palmer’s son, but it doesn’t mean he becomes a leader or even the strongest of Johto’s establishment.

Agatha: It is a combination of her skills in battles not aging well, despite holding her elite member title for many years. As well as her pokemon becoming too old, to properly battle.

Kahili: When Alola’s League was created, she was brought on board as an elite member. However, it’s quite obvious she doesn’t fit in with the title given to her. She may have been an island challenge champion, during her childhood. But things have changed, and battles haven’t really been a priority to her for a long time.

Riley: His own ego blinds himself, to the fact that his skills in battle aren’t really as great as he makes himself believe. He may be able to defeat Roark in battles, however Byron still easily defeats him.

Rowan: He has talent for battles, his research and studies of pokemon have shaped- given him a rather peculiar way to come up with battle strategies. However, Rowan has never showed any interest in them in the first place, meaning he never practices- hones the skills he possesses

Tabitha: Becoming an organization’s admin has never taken into accountability his skills in battles, and even then Tabitha has never truly followed the pokemon League’s code of rules for them in the first place. He might be the weakest one out of all my muses.

// Okay but, here’s a brief worldbuilding thing:

The pokemon TCG is a thing in the pokemon world, and it is largerly sponsored by the pokemon League. It helps to promote their famous trainers (champions/e4 members/gym leaders/etc), as well as grab the attention and interest of non-trainers. This is a combining effort, of every region’s league.

Despite this game being funded by the League, it still acknowledges their rival organisation - the battle frontier.

The game is pretty popular, and is often having worldwide tournaments. Obviously, it can’t be compared to any pokemon League tournament but it does have it’s own place in the field of entertainment.

Most players consist of people who just couldn’t get a grasp for training, had no interest at all in it, or found it to be too intimidating.

21. Do you follow the headcanon that real animals exist in the pokémon world? Why or why not?

// No I don’t! While I may do a few slip ups here and there, whgen describing a certain pokemon with an animal. They don’t really exist in this world! Meaning that, any and all sources of protein/produces/etc come from pokemon.

In fact, that’s what I find so interesting about the discourse of “the implications of eating pokemon”. That’s a hotpot for worldbuilding headcanons and discussions.

Although, this reminds me when awhile ago- I can’t remember what or how I came up with the idea that: animals once used to live in their world. However, pokemon started showing up- basically invaded this land, and have replaced all of these living beings early on the planet’s history. Enough so humanity, wouldn’t have any recollection of the existence of these creatures.

22. Do you follow the headcanon that certain ghost pokémon used to be human? [Yamask, gengar, etc]

// Yeah I do! Although, out of all my muses I only get to explore this with Morty. This is something not quite easy to be found on most posts about his Gengar, but he is meant to be Morty’s ancestor, Matsuba (part of an anient time AU, which takes place 300 years in the past). Obviously, the creature has no recollection of his past life, or is even aware he was once a human.

Although I’ve been brewing and talking to a few partners, on the possibility of Gengar recovering his memories and realising what he used to be.

Interestingly, despite being another ghost type trainer, and having three Gengars with her... This fact about the pokemon, is actually pretty irrelevant to her story.

23. Do you believe that all pokémon are capable of human speech [even if limited], or only certain species?

// SO I’VE BEEN MEANING TO ADDRESS THIS FOR AWHILE:

The pokemon talking thing, is exclusively found in the anime (& movie... I can’t remember an instance in the manga where this happened, and clearly isn’t supported by the games). Which as I’ve stated in the past, is the source I try to distance myself from the most.

It’s cute to have pokemon talking and stuff, but I’ll give this a hard pass. I may still rp with muses who have talking pokemon, it’s not something I’m strongly against. I suppose it depends on the case, but overall I don’t really take this into consideration ever.

Chatot is the only exception to the rule, because it is designed after a parrot and their main gimmickie is being able to “talk”, repeat what it heard.

Anything else? Yeah, no sorry. You’ll have to deal with my muses being scared/startled the moment they hear a pokemon talking.

24. How literal do you think the pokédex is?

// I feel like, yes there was definetely someone who felt like having fun with the entries. But that’s only very few cases, here and there.

I like to think that there are many steps into the process of allowing an entry to be accepted, for the pokedex. After all, this is meant to be a trainer’s encyclopedia, a reliable source of information for them at any given time.

It needs to be as clear and informative as possible.

I feel like the small snippets we get in the games, are just that. But the actual entry itself, is a lot larger/bulkier in content.

// ANYWAY so time to bring this subject from Disco.rd to here.

Proper training, preparation and support for League’s members. Not all Leagues can afford this type of project, when it comes to their employees- especially so early on their existence in a region. It is a necessary measurement, however it is very expensive to sustain it.

Pokemon battling for a living, is very different from doing it out of passion/fun. There is a sense of obligation to it, which combined with all the rest of their duties can become overwhelming for most trainers.

I’m bringing this up, because not all of my gym leaders/elite members received this sort of training from the organisation they work for.

Despite Kanto and Johto’s near bankruptcy state at the time, they went ahead and invested in this project. Even though it was way out of their budget, it clearly was meant to cover up some type of corruption/money laundry scheme. In Johto’s case, this was what nearly killed the organisation in the region (they had already spent a large amount of money hiring the most qualified trainers in their respective fields).

As such, Agatha, Lance, Morty, Pryce and Blaine have received the proper training for their respective jobs and duties.

In Hoenn’s case, because the League was sharing grounds with the frontier since the beginning. They needed to grow, and establish themselves quickly- while not blowing their budget. They needed to garner attention to them, so they seeked out popular/famous trainers from the time. Their skills have never been taken into consideration, and they couldn’t afford any type of proper training/preparation.

Juan hasn’t received the training, as such - this contributed to his burn out pretty early on his gym leader work. Although, by the time he returned he has finally received the so much needed training.

Drake’s case was an exception. He originally wasn’t going to receive any type of trainning, however, this was paid/funded by mr.Stone. Obviously, he isn’t aware of this detail.

Alola is currently in a similar situation as Hoenn’s, from 30-20 years in the past. They are brand new in the region, with a very limited budget (it is currently being spent on hiring and building the establishments). On top of having to try and earn people’s interests, seeing how the League is clashing with the local traditions. Much like Hoenn, they have also gathered up popular/famous faces in Alola - battle skills weren’t taken into any consideration in the picking process.

Kahili hasn’t received any type of proper training, and her signs of burn out are showing - and are pretty apparent. They will only worsen, the longer she stays as an elite member.

// Now that I’m open for some Ga.lar action, I’ve been getting a few ideas and thoughts in regards to how things could go.

I’ve looked through the pokedex in the games, and it got me thinking a few things:

Gal.ar’s environment is way too fragile, some of those pokemon species can only thrive in that region. Meaning that in order to protect them, from possible invasive species - they had to banish/forbid the entrance of most pokemon species commonly found in the others.

Meaning that entering the region can be quite the hassle for many trainers, so they most likely avoid travelling/visitting Gal.ar for that reason. And those that do decide to venture through the region, they end up having to do their visit without any of their pokemon.

While for Gala.rians, they can travel to other regions without many hitches along their way. So long, as they don’t bring back any of the considered threatening species.

Due to the hard access, Gal.ar has garnered a negative fame in the eyes of other regions. Reserved - closed off from the rest of the world.

I have mentioned this in a past post, but I’m adding it here as well. Gal.ar and Kalos have a historical rivalry/animosity towards each other, something that is still thriving in modern days. I wouldn’t call it straight up hate towards the other, but they may get a few odd eyes - if they decide to speak gal.arian in kalosian territory (and vice versa).

Reminder that these are my views and the worldbuilding I’ll be using for my muses, you’re welcome to join in - but it is not necessary.

So, how does this affect interactions on this blog?

It means that they will

A) Either have to take place outside of Gal.ar region (either prior to the games events or post);

B) Or if it happens in the region, my muses will be stripped from any and all of their pokemon.

Of course, these are open for plotting and discussions! So they can be altered, to fit in our plotting!

ANYWAY just dumping here some HCs in regards to regions’ languages. Reminder that these are meant exclusively for my muses’ development.

Both Kanto and Johto speak japanese- but with different dialects. Although it is still possible to comprehend the other, for outsiders- this means that if you know one dialect over another it won’t affect their stay all that much. Although in Johto, there is a noticeable preference, to keep it all in their dialect. You may be frowned upon, or flat out ignored- depending where you use Kanto’s.

Hoenn finds itself in an odd spot, where its official language is japanese. However, because the region has many smaller islands that have remained isolated for the most part in their history there are actually many dialects- weird hybrids with other languages (thanks to the abundant influx of immigrants from the other regions). On top of having their language from ancient times, still thriving and being used by Draconids.

Sinnoh speaks this cross between russian, scandinavian and german. Meaning their language might as well be the most difficult one to be learned, by outsiders. If that wasn’t enough- it makes sinnohians carry a heavy accent while speaking other languages.

Kalos is another oddball like Sinnoh, it is a cross between french, spanish and italian.

The other regions- I won’t get too much into them, because they’re pretty much self explanatory. Unova and Gala.r are englishspeaking regions, Alola is Hawaiian.

When it comes to an universal language that they all speak, it has changed just recently within their world’s history. At some point it was japanese (with Kanto being the center of progress for sometime), however, it fell out of use and was replaced by english due to Unova’s consistent progress and growth. Now surpassing Kanto by a mile, who unfortunately has found itself stagnant within time.

WHEN BOBO STRIKES MY INBOX

// It depends on the holiday you may be talking about! Since the majority of my muses, come from reagions that are way more eastern based. They don’t exactly follow/celebrate the majority of our western holidays (such as: christmas, easter, halloween, etc.), although they do have contact with them to a certain extent.

Since as I’m writing this post we are near christmas, I’ll be focusing on it.

// Out of all my muses, the only one who seems to truly embrace the christmas festives is Agatha. She may spend christmas all alone, but she loves decorating her house, knitting sweaters/scarves for herself, and baking christmas goods. Her family was amongst the few within the Kanto region, who actually celebrated it. Although nowadays, she spends christmas all by herself - and it doesn’t seem like she is bothered by it.

// Morty’s mother side of the family used to celebrate christmas, in fact: The very last good and happy memory he has of them is during christmas, the very last family reunion they had before his abuse started. Needless to say, this isn’t a good time of the year for him - he feels especially lonely. He doesn’ like this holiday - as such he doesn’t celebrate it neither does anything related to it.

Thankfully, that isn’t something he is too worried about. Because he lives and works at Ecruteak city, the heart of Johto’s traditions. And christmas isn’t one of theirs. In fact, whoever celebrates it - is quite frowned upon by the most traditionalists in the city.

// Blaine uses his laboratory to its fullest, around christmas. Since it is completely empty, he can focus on his work without any interruptions at all. Although, his friend mr.Fuji likes to do a little reunion of family and friends around this time of the year, this means he drags Blaine out of his workplace to attend to it.

// Pryce and his family don’t celebrate christmas, BUT they do like the concept and idea of it. As such, he and his wife use it as an excuse to make a family reunion. Gathering up everyone in their home!

// In Sinnoh they do have a holiday, similar to christmas - it has a lot more religious undertone to it mind you. Barry likes this time of the year, because the chances of his father showing up are a lot higher. He isn’t too fond of all the rituals- religious steps involved in this day, but he will go through it all- thanks to his hopes of seeing his father by the end of the day. He also enjoys the family reunions, that take place in his home.

Although ever since he started travelling to the other regions. There have been a few christmas where he spent it by himself or in a pokemon center. He always makes sure to call his mother.

// Palmer tries his hardest to get a brief vacation from the frontier around this time of the year. Although, he wasn’t always successfull at it and had to spend christmas with his colleagues instead.

// Drake has never experienced christmas - neither him or mr.Briney. It doesn’t help that it is way more likely, for him to be out sailing- and see christmas as no different from any other day of his life. Although, he has assosciated this time of the year - with Joseph Stone being extra generous towards him. Giving him a bunch of gifts- seemingly out of goodwill.

// Simply put, the Wataru clan doesn’t celebrate christmas. In fact, they take it as being just another normal day. As such, Lance goes about his day like usual - or at least, as much as the League may allow. The organisation may hold an event or something like it. More often than not, lance takes it as his day off work - where he will either visit his family or just stay home, take care of his pokemon or go look for a fling.

// Tabitha is neutral towards christmas. He lives in Unova, and is seeing/experiencing this event to its fullest. The cafeteria closes early during the day, and hosts a little gift exchange event between the employees. Although, he doesn’t exactly do anything different during the night - maybe he could hit up a bar or something. But he still isn’t feeling the christmas spirit.

// Juan’s family used to celebrate christmas, it was one of the traditions they brought from Kalos. These were one of the few times of the year, where they could host a family gathering - so needless to say Juan has some fond memories of the festives. Even if nowadays, they carry a bittersweet taste to them.

Ever since he became a top coordinator, he wasn’t invited to the christmas parties. From there, he started distancing himself from his family, until his father’s death - which effectively made him cut ties with them altogether.

It hasn’t ruined the celebration completely for him however. Around this time of the year there are many public events he attends to, on top of doing a few performances with this as his subject.

Juan adores decorating his mansion, white and gold being his most used colors. However, he no longer celebrates christmas.

// Brendan’s very first contact with christmas came when he travelled to Sinnoh during Winter. His family doesn’t celebrate it, because it just isn’t of their tradition. He comes from Johto, and moved to Hoenn. His very first real christmas, was spent in a pokemon center in the company of the staff’s members and some other trainers who were there. There wasn’t any gift exchange, but it was a very pleasant night with food and people sharing their wishes for the next year.

// While under his derranged mother’s care, christmas was just another day of abuse for him. Later his adoptive family, celebrated it- and honestly they were extremely good times for Riley. He has a rocky relationship with the festives, to say the very least.

Nowadays he celebrates it because of his relationship with Byron, but he doesn’t care about christmas itself. They basically celebrate it by themselves, because of him - no one from Byron’s family wishes to visit him. It only adds further salt to the injury, for Roark and his relationship with his father. Seeing how the man would much rather, spend it with his supposed lover - than with his family.

// Ever since Rowan divorced Bertha, he has been joining Richard ( @auraguardians​‘ OC) for the christmas festives. He is the one responsible for cooking and baking for them. In these celebrations, they tend to be joined by Riley (Richard’s nephew) and his boyfriend Morty.

He has always enjoyed christmas, even if down the road he would put aside its religious values.

// In Alola they don’t celebrate christmas. Kalos on the other hand... Kahili has never clebrated it in the early years of her life. However, ever since her parents divorced each other - she has been travelling every year to Kalos in order to spend christmas with her mother. She is still getting used to christmas, the party is always an enjoyable time for her but she is oftenly forgetting about it whenever she is in her home region.

// I hate saying this but, young Agatha could fit in to a certain extent with the description of a r/nicegirl(tm). I hate this analogy, but at the same time her behavior towards Oak doesn’t lie.

Her own ego and expectations towards him, led to the downfall of their friendship. But it was all doomed to fail.

It’s honestly hard to say how different things would have been, if she had defeated him or her feelings had been recipocrated (or even if both things had happened).

// Okay so... Is it a good time to address/talk about Rental pokemon?

When travelling abroad, League assosciates (professors, gym leaders, E4 members, champions) can request rental pokemon to the organisation should they find themselves without their partners for whatever reason.

This is in order to ensure that they won’t get themselves into any dangers, if they decide to venture out into the wilderness.

Unfortunately, they have no saying in regards to what pokemon they are handed/given. Their specialization can be used to try and influence in what type of pokemon they could receive, but it won’t ensure they will receive something accordingly to it. Seeing how, it is mainly influenced by the availability of options more than anything else.

// With that said:

Let’s say how the reason why Kanto and Johto’s Leagues were on the verge of bankruptcy about 10 years into the past, was because they hired the strongest trainers in their fields of expertise. Making the League challenge way too difficult and unappealing for trainers, meaning no one was interested in taking it. They prioritized battle skills, over popular and influential people - that would no doubt draw in the crowds to it.

When Morty joined the Johto League, they were in the process of swapping the Leaders in hopes of patching things up. But the atmosphere, was of the whole thing not lasting more than one or two years with luck.

When Lance joined as the Elite members’ leader. The previous champion had already long stepped down from his position, due to the League’s financial condition that made it impossible for them to sustain him.

Pryce and Blaine were League assosciates (in their respective regions) throughout the whole thing, and watched the process of the changes over the years.

The public view’s shift towards Agatha, were one of the many things that contributed to the Kanto League’s progressive downfall.

Agatha has used trainning methods that in present times, have been deemed unethical and illegal by the League’s standards. Agatha’s crimes, are way more related to how things and views have changed throughout the decades.

Once it had been found out about Team Rocket’s involvement in the Mewtwo project, the whole experiment has been deemed an illegal sceme. And everyone that was involved into it, are being taken accountable for it - Blaine included. Although, thanks to Lance pulling the strings in the background in order to silence those who speak on it, Blaine hasn’t really suffered any consequences for his actions. For one he wasn’t aware of the organisation’s involvement in the first place, but he still actively took part in it - so he got out of it all with just a light slap on the back of his hand and advised to not comment on the matter.

If it weren’t for the fact that most things Drake has committed took place out into the open waters (meaning there are no records of these incidents - besides word of the mouth), and for mr.Stone’s help. He was supposed to have quite the large criminal record on his back. From starting fights in bars, involvement with the black market - more specifically pokemon trafficking (how did you think he got the majority of his pokemon in the first place?), physical assault, torture and the most severe being straight up murder. Because Drake is always under the effect of alcohol, he may end up openly talking about these things - but no one around him seem to believe in his words. Most assume it is just the alcohol, making him exaggerate things.

During his teenager years Morty used to always have with himself fake IDs, which lied about his name and age. This allowed him to apply himself for some minor jobs - to try and get some money, as well as buying alcohol. Nothing came out of it - no one ever found out about it etc. Because this happened before he ran into the Shedinja, Morty has no recollection of ever doing anything of this sort.

You bet the Wataru clan is ALWAYS in some degree, involved in some corruption scheme. Lance has been taught his way around these sorts of politics, and he uses it its fullest potential for his advantage. Obviously no one has ever dared to look into things, no one in the Johto region - wishes to stand against the clan’s wishes and desires.

Need I say anything in regards to Tabitha? He was a member of Team magma. And his crimes ranged from robbery, physical assault and even torture. Currently, he is an wanted man by the Interpol.

Although not exactly a crime, but Juan could in theory be charged for animal abuse. Because he forced, the premature evolution of his Kingdra, I’ve gone in more details here! However, this happened when he was still collecting the ribbons - during a time, in which this would be deemed normal/acceptable. I’m not done yet with his crimes. Juan to this day has refused to sign any paternity papers and do any DNA tests to prove it in regards to Ceasar, his legitimate son. It is a matter of time, until the law knocks on his door - and he will be forced to go through the whole process. Juan has also, a few times cheated on his contests - towards his actual opponents when he was very active as a coordinator. Needless to say, Juan never addresses nor comments on anything about these subjects.

Riley’s list is pretty big actually, not in its variety rather for how long he has been doing these things. Money extortion (from his partners), animal abuse (he has hurt his pokemon on numerous occasions in order to experiment with his healing powers). Obviously, he covers these things up.

Summer

Juan: Adores warm temperatures. Summer easons, are always his busiest times of the year for his modelling career. Can’t handle low temperatures.

Morty: Everything looks so full of life, it’s vibrant, energetic. Summer vibes are very positive ones, for him.

Kahili: There’s only one type of season in Alola: Summer. It’s what she grew up used with, she can’t handle low temperatures.

Drake: All that he knows is the warm tropical heat, he doesn’t take well at all any dropin the temperature. Because of this, there have been many lands he never sailed to.

Autumn

Blaine: He may be a fire type specialist, and work in laboratories his entire life. But, he is a lot more productive around Autumn rather than Summer. Even the extreme heat, can become a distraction from his work.

Tabitha: He has grown to appreciate this time of the year ever since he moved into Unova. This is when he becomes more perceptive, of his surroundings and finds beauty in the scenery around this season.

Winter

Lance: Don’t let his dragon type specialty fool you. A good chunk of his training, took place in the mountaineous terrain of Blackthorn. He can handle low temperatures just fine. This is the season when he trains his dragons, the most. Pushing them to their limits.

Pryce: It’s in his title, and his type specialty.

Agatha: It’s the season for her to wear her old- furrcoats. They are perfect, to keep her warm and glamorous at the same time.

Riley: Sinnoh’s Winter lasts almost 6 months of the year, Riley doesn’t have much option there. But, this is also the season he uses in order to experiment on his body, what he can do with his powers- in terms of healing himself and whatnot.

Spring

Rowan: The busiest time of the year in his lab, not just because of young trainers showing up to receive their starters. But also because, he can finally resume his field work and head out throughout Sinnoh to check on the native species as well as to keep track of hordes from other regions’ species that show up in Sinnoh.

Palmer: When it comes to Winter in Sinnoh, you’re pretty much stuck to your house or work establishment. It lasts 6 months and it is extremely harsh. With Spring, he can actually catch a breath of fresh air for once.

Brendan: It’s his favorite time of the year to take pictures of nature!

Barry: Same thing as Palmer.

 - Drake only owns dragons that can be found within tropical/the warmer areas of the world, and even then - he wouldn’t venture too deep into any continent/land. This is why, he doesn’t own pokemon such as Dragonite, Noivern, Hydreigon and Garchomp.

- Out of all my muses, Drake is the one who owns the least amount of pokemon species. Since he doesn’t use nor has any access to the Storage system, he needs to keep that number in a managable amount.

- Drake may have received his keystone from Steven after the ORAS’ events, but his Salamence has been holding onto his Salamencite ever since his previous owner gave it to him all those years ago.

- The most noticeable sign of his addictions to both tobacco and alcohol, is his hands uncontrollably shaking during the mornings - as soon as he wakes up. He needs to either smoke or drink something, in order to make it stop.

- His short fused and explosive temper, is being contributed by his alcohol consumptions habits.

- Pryce should officially retire for good, by the time X/Y rolls around. So, not long after the PWT.

- Pryce met Blaine, during the time he was applying and studying for the professor position in Johto. Their friendship still thrives to this day! They are in very good terms with each other.

- Despite being an ice type specialist, his least favorite region to visit is Sinnoh. He finds that place to be, way too behind in time - and this is coming from a man who lives in one of the oldest towns within the Johto region.

- Riley became a troubling teenager for his family. As early as the age of 14, he would be spending nights out, as well as seeking out the attention of older men and women for him. By the time he ran away from home, things had just become unberable for the family. This is why, they never went after him. They had essentially given him up.

- Once he was 19, he dropped the Gen surname and returned to his original one which is Vitkus.

- By the time Platinum takes place, Riley has been dating Byron for at least 3 years! And there is already talk from the gym leader’s end, about engagement with him.

- Riley purposely, tries to make himself look as young as possible. He has noticed, how this - seems to be attracting to him just the right kind of people he is looking to surround himself with.

- When Palmer received his Chimchar, his starter pokemon. Rowan still was just one of the many lab assitents, to the time’s professor.

- Palmer’s journey around Sinnoh was the most daring and dangerous thing he has ever done in his life. Because, he set out when Winter was about to start in the region. During this season, the night's duration prolonged and it lasts 6 months.

- Originally, when he joined the Frontier. He actually wanted to work at Hoenn, however the Sinnoh’s division took him in seeing how they needed frontier brains for this brand new establishment.

- Juan in the contest scene, behaves and thinks so drastically different from when he is working at the League. It is almost as if, he flips a switch the moment he steps into a contest hall. While at it, he shows signs of vanity - someone who had been completely taken over by his pride and fame.

- Juan was approached by the League to join them as one of their gym leaders, admitedly he never had any real interest on them. But he joined them anyway, per recommendation of his manager - seeing how that would boost even more his public image. He wanted the gym to be in Lilycove city, instead of Sootopolis - however the location was completely up to the League’s decision and not his.

- Despite being an admirer for history and art in general, he has no real interest in myths and folklore in general. This is another reason, as to why he didn’t want his gym to be built in Sootopolis city.

- Juan’s modelling carreer has started as early as his 20s, the deals and sponsorships at the time were being brought in by the contest judge who was his lover at the time. And once the Pokéstar studios takes off, he will start an acting carreer as well.

- Agatha faced a lot of scrutiny from her family, when she opted to study instead of getting married to her arranged fiance that her parents had got her. This was the start, of her distancing herself from her family.

- Also, I know I haven’t brought over those old silly HCs about how Agatha would attack her E4 colleagues. But still, It is important to highlight how she would never lay a finger on them. However, she has always had a sharp tongue - and she knew exactly what to speak/say in order to truly hurt someone. Lance wasn’t an exception to this treatment.

- Agatha got to travel very little abroad during her life, the farthest she has gone to was Hoenn. And even then, it was a very brief visit. Her travel to get to the region, took longer than her time within Hoenn. She only got to experience very little of Lilycove city.

Unless they are following an order given by their champion, no elite member is allowed to leave their region. Although they aren’t required to stay 24/7 in the League establishment itself, they need to stay all time ready within the champion’s reach.

As such:

This was never a problem for Agatha, she has never had much desire to travel abroad - not even travelling to the neighbor region;

Lance, despite being the Leader of the elite members - he wasn’t allowed to travel to Johto. This is around the time he decides to move in to an appartment in Celadon city.

This took a huge toll in his work at the Devon corp. Thanks to Joseph’s crush his friendship with Joseph, Drake has been able to keep his job there. He is only allowed to sail around Hoenn’s waters.

Kahili is the one who is suffering the most with this restriction. Because, the biggest- and most important golf competitions take place outside of the Alola region. This is starting to affect, her status of rising star.
