journal entry #1
i don’t know if people like me or not. i escape from everything, scared of rejection or that they won’t like me. i know they love me but my doubts and insecurities come before trust. i try so hard to play the dumbass friend role and its hard. its not who i am. i’m boring and i have to pretend to be someone i’m not. thats my whole life. pretending and getting disappointed. if i show my true self people won’t like me, and that scares me. i want it to stop, but i can’t find anyone who cares enough about me to enjoy my normal presence. i’m sorry if this post annoys you. i’ll delete it if anyone would like it to be taken down, but the chances of anyone caring anymore are slim. i should just kill myself. makes everything easier.

ACNH—Advice to Save a Life
Here are just three things I’ve learned from playing, watching videos and otherwise trying to figure things out.
1. Unwanted Villagers? Talk to them. A lot.
Ever wonder why your favorite villagers are always asking to move out but the ones you hate always seem stick? Well contrary to popular belief, ignoring them, abusing them and/or complaining to Isabelle does nothing. The key is to talk spam them into oblivion. Yes. You have to kill them with kindness.
( Ignoring them only becomes effective if you’ve already built a rapport with the villager. Hitting or push bullying is sometimes effective, but it depends on the personality and method of abuse. The key is talking to them. Repeatedly. Spamming the talk action back to back until they essentially have a nervous breakdown. Doing that multiple times a day will prime them to move out over time. Give it a try and you’ll see what I mean. )
2. Looking for Rare Mystery Islands? Clap for the Dodos.
In one of the videos from Nintendo Direct, it was hinted that the type of islands you can get when using Nook Miles Tickets depend largely on their mood. The key way to influence that is to use the Delight reaction repeatedly until Orville (the dodo at the counter) blushes. Get him to blush two or three times and you can raise the probability of getting a rare island a great deal. Try it out and see for yourself!
3. Wasp-Catching is an Art Form
Just a small hint here, but if you consistently fail to catch wasps, the key is to stand in front of the tree as you shake it. The moment the nest falls, your character will pivot to face the wasps. If you have the net out (which you should) you can hit the A Button immediately and bam—they’re caught! You get a sticker for catching five in a row—and also, they sell for 2.5k a pop. Not bad eh?
4. Shake Those Trees!
A way to beef up your catalog quickly and to get lots of items for trade is to use the Nook Miles Tickets to go island hopping. In at least one tree per island (excluding those with nothing but bamboo or fruit trees) there is a random item you can find by shaking the tree once. Be sure to observe the above advice and have your net out when you do it! You can also do this in tandem with villager hunting, which is a way to also maximize your DIY, fossil collection and nab a fantastic villager at the same time—so be sure to save up those miles!

design limit for acnh
Hi everyone! Today I discovered that in Animal Crossing New Horizons there is a 130 design limit to the number you can have shared/posted to your creator code! And deleting a posted designs from your creator code means that the code is no longer valid. This is really really frustrating and limiting to people like me who LOVE creating and sharing designs with you all!
If you don’t mind, if you could call the @nintendo service line, 1(800) 255-3700, and kindly ask their customer support to log feedback about removing the limit/increasing the number you can share.
Keep in mind that these people are there to help you and listen to your feedback and don’t have any control what the developers do/don’t do! Be kind and considerate!
If you are like me, a script might be helpful!
“Hello, good day! My name is _________ and I would like to make a complaint/suggestion/feedback regarding Animal Crossing New Horizons!”
this is where they will likely redirect you to the right department…
“Hello there! I have been playing ACNH and have really been enjoying _____. However, today I discovered that in Animal Crossing New Horizons there is a 130 design limit to the designs you can have posted to your creator code! And deleting designs from your creator code means that the code is no longer valid. I am calling to suggest that you remove the limit or at least increase the number you can share and let people post more! Thank you so much for your time.”
If you want to include an anecdote/example, I myself created over 300 unique designs in ACNL (not including multiple color versions & skintone versions). All in all I wouldn’t be surprised if I made close to 1,000 qrs.
Thank you to @rainie-crossing, @pixelvillagers, & @isa-crossing for your help and feedback that I used to build this post!
Please call, reblog, tweet, and share this post so we can get @nintendo to listen!

WHAT THE WHAT IVE REACHED THE LIMIT FOR DESIGNS I CAN POST?! And if I delete ones to make room, the code doesn’t work anymore, right?!
@nintendo please please please take away the limit! This is my favorite thing to do!! This doesn’t make any sense?! I made over 200 unique designs in New Leaf (not including all the different color versions of each!) and now to have a limit is crippling! Please lift this!

Note
do you think you like new leaf better than new horizons?
NH has a lot of shit you can do but NL had a lot more content in terms of furnitures and actual activities. Hopefully the updates in NH will come with new features, but for the time being, besides the graphics, everything just seems lacking.
