          EVA MOVES BACK AS THE box falls, and she lets out a laugh. “ hey, you did more than me, ” she tells him with a wave of her hand, bending down to pick up the box. “ thanks for your help, and no harm was done to the box. so we’re good! ”

He sucked in his lips, and nodded. “yeah.” Zander didn’t really have anything else to say. He usually wouldn’t even offer to help. he would usually just walk around and if he saw someone in distress he would keep on walking. “uh, enjoy those cornflakes.”

“I didn’t, I didn’t have my phone. I’m not sure where it is” usual excuse. she wasn’t sure where it was, but she was certain it was sitting right on her bed from this morning. “You know I’m sorry, i did not mean to ignore you Z” tone low, and quiet. Soft.  She would never on purpose ignore him.  He did a lot for her, he had to know that. “No he didn't” glancing towards the front door, lights still clearly on.  she would never heard the end of it. 

He shook his head at her excuse. He had heard it one too many times. “Sawyer, You can’t keep doing this. This was important.” He clarified. He wasn’t even sure if he wanted to try anymore. This was getting repetitive, and honestly, he could care less how their families felt. “He did. And I tried to stop him, and to tell him that you were out doing something, but how am I supposed to lie to my dad?” He paused. “I can’t Sawyer.”

Taking the shot she made a little ‘haw’ noise after she swallowed. Placing her hand out in front of her, “Yes please my fine sir, I would love a dance” she said giggling towards him.

Z grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the living room which was where everyone was dancing. He could easily find his way around this house. It was the many party spots. The music wasn’t something he’d really dance to, but that didn’t stop him. He spun her around for a second before nodding along to the beat of the music.

Stopping in front of him, she gave him a small look “I went shopping?” she was a little confused, as to why he was really mad.  Had she missed something?  It slowly dawned on her, as she thought about what today was. This morning she had just been in such a rushed pace, that she had left the house at sunrise, before anyone had woken up.  Hoping onto the ferry. “Zander” tone low, she had completely forgotten about the dinner his family had planned for the day, “Zander, I am so sorry” reaching for his hand, softly. “I forgot about today” 

He sucked in his cheeks, making eye contact with anything else other than her. Yeah, they were forced to be in this relationship but at least Zander was trying. Sawyer definitely wasn’t. He pulled his hand back from hers. “I texted you like 12 times. I called you, even.” His voice was low, and angry. “My dad texted your dad.”

Handing him a shot she gave him a smile, “Listen, this is what I’m here for” she said joking. Filling both of their shots up again, “Well, you have not missed anything crazy yet. All You’ve missed so far is a bunch of drunk twenty something year olds making out and jumping off the balcony into the pool. Exciting stuff” she said before elbowing him lightly. “Cheers to you. Cheers to me” she said holding up the shot glass. 

“Cheers.” Zander lifted the shot glasses before throwing it back. The hot liquid slid down his throat easily. He felt it travel down into his stomach. “Seemed like the usual when it comes to a Winthrop party. Wanna go dance?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Another Saturday night meant another party at here house, in her honor, that she threw herself. Alexandra never understood the kook and pogue difference, maybe it was because she wasn’t from there, but she always kept her door open to everyone that lived on the island. No matter who they were. Walking around the party she found a group taking shots and she decided to join in on the fun, taking the shot she looked over at the other who had nothing in their hand, “Want one?” she asked them with a smile. 

Zander never missed a party. Whether it was a pogue or a kook, he was down to have a good time. He had just arrived. Fashionably late, as usual, as he went to go find the host. He wasn’t surprised when he found her in the kitchen. “You know me so well.” He smiled at her, grabbing one of the shot glasses and waiting for it to be filled up. “Did I miss anything?”

She wasn’t sure what time it was.  Her phone was left at home.  Walking through the lawn of her house as she reached the steps, she was not expecting to see Zander sitting there when she got home. There he was, looking like she he had been waiting for her. Not sure how long.  Wrapping her finger around her dress uneasily, she stopped in front of him. She wasn’t sure what to expect.  She left his phone at her bed that morning, escaping off to the ferry at sunrise.  Like she normally did some days. “Hi?” unsure if he was upset, or angry. Mad even.

The big dinner. Normally, Zander wouldn’t mind if Sawyer skipped out but this dinner meant a lot to his family and his dad was watching him the entire night, which put Z on edge. Zander had been waiting for so long, he finally decided to sit down on the front steps. Once he sat down, he could see her coming up to the house. Standing up, he crossed his arms over his chest. “What the hell?” He asked, “Where have you been?”

          SHE’S ALMOST TAKEN BY SURPRISE when the male offers his help. “ um, the organic cornflakes one, ” she admits, and she feels almost embarrassed for saying it out loud. but at least she’s eating somewhat healthy! ( the brownie mix in the cart says differently. ) “ thank you, ” she tells him as she steps back from the shelves.

if you asked zander what his plans for the day were, he would never have said helping some poor soul at the super market, and yet here he was. reaching up to grab the cornflakes, he tipped it a bit to grab the side of it, only to have the box slip out of his fingers. “well, shit.” he said, sucking in his lips. “I tried to help, and it ended up attacking us. so.”

          eva’s struggling to say the least as she’s on her tip toes in the aisle of the market. she’s reaching for a cereal box, and of course, it has to be on the top shelf. “ i feel like it’s cruel joke to put my favorite cereal on the top shelf, ” she mutters, looking up at the shelf before looking to see if she could use another shelf for a step. 

he went up and down the aisles of the store and still didn’t know what he was in the mood for. nothing jumped out at him. walking around, he found himself heading down the cereal aisle, and casually watched the girl stand on her toes to reach for it. “what kind?” he asked, when he got up to her. “I can get it.”

Born October 8th, Zander was the oldest of the three Voss siblings. He loves his sisters dearly. Being born into a wealthy family, Zander immediately took towards the showy nature of his parents. They were always the first people to be at a fundraiser/gala/dance. 

Growing up in a wealthy family, Zander knew he could get anything he wanted. He flew by in school and ended up getting into one of the best universities in the country. Though he knew it was only because of his money and not his academics, Z didn’t mind. He wanted to get away from Outer Banks for a bit. He took a liking towards partying in college, and didn’t really focus much on his academics. Zander ended up getting kicked out his first year of college, and tried his hardest to get back into it and swore it would be different this time. They didn’t budge. He never told his parents. He told them he was doing classes online. Zander ended up going to the community college online and got his business degree from it, after his parents found out from the dean that he got kicked out. 

His personality is very likable. He is very confident in the way he looks and he loves women. Currently, he’s dating Sawyer Robbins (even though they really don’t have much in common.) Their families are very close and ever since they were born, it was forced on them to be “together.” so they did. They are. They’re very much together, to the public eye. During fundraisers, you’d see them on the dance floor, holding hands, and drinking champagne. 

Zander really is an easy going guy. He enjoys drinking and smoking. Smoking, maybe a little too much. But you’ll always seem him at a pogue party on the beach.
