This is probably a no brainer to a lot of people, I don't know, but I was thinking, possibly the training didn't even start until after Sora's death.

I previously analysed the scientist's dialogue, and it seems to me that he said the kids weren't born with exoskeleton.

I assumed that maybe they wanted to wait for the exoskeleton to grow in properly first, so I think they weren't actually being tested or trained for combat until they're a bit older.

The anime had this scene of the gremlin babies punching dummies and like, it's really funny, but it might not be canon.

Now, Sanji's bros were shown to only starting to get really mad at him after seeing how "weak" he was in training.

I'm assuming that before this, they have no reason to be angry at him or bully him. So the bullying scenes all probably take place after the training has started. Plus, when the bros were bullying Sanji, Judge didn't stop them because Sanji is weak. He wouldn't have known Sanji is weak until after the training starts.

In the scenes, the bros always make fun of Sanji making "rat food". Not once was his defence ever "but this is for mother". I mean, if Sora's still alive he's giving all the food to her, not the rats. Meaning that when they're doing this, Sora is not still alive.

Therefore the training probably begins after or very shortly before Sora died. In the scene where Judge called them to begin the training, I would guess their ages are 7-8 for the boys, 10-11 for Reiju.

I wish Oda-sensei would show us how they interact before Sora's death... Maybe in the future...?

maybe i'm just too zosanpilled but it really irks me when people describe zoro and sanji as having a 'love-hate relationship' because... hate where? they just like to antagonize each other because they're competitive. none of the 'beef' is real and they're clearly having fun with it.

even the tepid 'well they don't like each other but they do love each other' opinion i've seen bothers me because what do you meeeeaaaaan they don't like each other. zoro loves a good fight/challenge and sanji is just combative by nature and can't be nice to men he likes. do you also think that kureha hates chopper or that zeff and sanji hate each other???
