Well, this is the first Wii game I've purchased in about a year, but damned if it doesn't seem pretty fun so far. One thing I have to say, though, is that after playing almost exclusively PS3 and Xbox 360 games here lately, man the Wii just doesn't even compare graphically. That aside, Xenoblade Chronicles is still a really good looking game. Sure the character models are grainy by comparison, but the landscapes are honestly pretty impressive.
Now we just need The Last Story to come out, so I can buy at least one more Wii game this console generation. I guess Operation Rainfall was a success after all.

So, after seeing numerous people making posts about it, I finally decided to start up Tiger & Bunny for the first time... And holy crap, I'm completely getting into it. It's the characters! They're just so interesting and likeable, I just want to continuously see them interact. Though, that's not to downplay the awesome visuals. I'm normally not a huge fan of mixing the 3D and 2D like this, but it's done incredibly well here. The action scenes are fast and completely over the top in the best possible way. Now, I'm only about six episodes in, and I'm trying to savor this show, especially since I kinda blew through the last few shows in near record speed. I get the feeling, just from what I've seen so far, that this will be the rare series that I will genuinely want to see continue.

...And this guy. This guy! He's about the greatest thing ever. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi might just be my new hero. Pretty much any time he opens his mouth I'm either grinning like an idiot or legitimately laughing out loud. On top of his great humor he just seems like an all around awesome guy. I can't wait to see more of him throughout the rest of the show.

Definitely agree. In my opinion he's one of, if the most underrated character in the whole of the Final Fantasy franchise. Also, I totally agree that they should at the least do an enhanced port of FFVI. I'd love to see one along the same lines as Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection. Some pretty redone high def sprites would be lovely.

Just recently finished watching the 2011-2012 anime, Another. I needed something psychological horror-y and preferably a single season run, and this certainly fit the bill. It manages to establish a very dark and tense atmosphere from the first episode, and maintains this feel for all of its short 12 episode run. It had a unique story that kept me guessing until the end. If you can handle a very dark and, at times, bloody and squicky show, then this would be something I would highly recommend. A brief, yet very satisfying distraction.

Huh. Probably not terribly inaccurate.
1) open google 2) search your first name, only your first name 3) take the first picture that comes up 4) upload it to tumblr 5) this is you in 10 years

Ace. Easily the biggest badass of 999. If you haven't played this awesome visual novel/adventure game then you owe it to yourself to. It has excellent writing, engaging characters, and manages to evoke an impressive sense of dread with minimal visuals. Would definitely land in my top 10 for the DS.
