13 Reasons Why
Don’t watch it. Do not watch this fucked up mess of a show. Listen, I’ve been working in suicide prevention for almost six years, and I grew up in an area that had epidemics of teen suicides. The area is actually so well known that the show-writers and producers met with leading experts in the area on the ways that the media contributes to youth suicides - and then did almost everything they were warned not to do, even going so far as to actually show the suicide on-screen. Many of the experts that they’ve spoken with are expressing grave disappointment with how the show proceeded despite their advice.
If you’re suicidal, if you’re depressed, if you self-harm, and/or if you have any trauma associated with that, please do not watch this show. It was incredibly irresponsibly handled and puts people in very real danger.

24 Invaluable Skills To Learn For Free Online This Year
Here’s an easy resolution: This stuff is all free as long as you have access to a computer, and the skills you learn will be invaluable in your career, and/or life in general.
1. Become awesome at Excel.
Chandoo is one of many gracious Excel experts who wants to share their knowledge with the world. Excel excellence is one of those skills that will improve your chances of getting a good job instantly, and it will continue to prove invaluable over the course of your career. What are you waiting for?
2. Learn how to code.
littleanimalgifs.tumblr.com
Perhaps no other skill you can learn for free online has as much potential to lead to a lucrative career. Want to build a site for your startup? Want to build the next big app? Want to get hired at a place like BuzzFeed? You should learn to code. There are a lot of places that offer free or cheap online coding tutorials, but I recommend Code Academy for their breadth and innovative program. If you want to try a more traditional route, Harvard offers its excellent Introduction to Computer Science course online for free.
3. Make a dynamic website.
You could use a pre-existing template or blogging service, or you could learn Ruby on Rails and probably change your life forever. Here’s an extremely helpful long list of free Ruby learning tools that includes everything from Rails for Zombies to Learn Ruby The Hard Way. Go! Ruby! Some basic programming experience, like one of the courses above, might be helpful (but not necessarily required if you’re patient with yourself).
4. Learn to make a mobile game.
If you’re not interested in coding anything other than fun game apps, you could trythis course from the University of Reading. It promises to teach you how to build a game in Java, even if you don’t have programming experience! If you want to make a truly great game, you might want to read/listen up on Game Theory first.
5. Start reading faster.
Spreeder is a free online program that will improve your reading skill and comprehension no matter how old you are. With enough practice, you could learn to double, triple, or even quadruple the speed at which you read passages currently, which is basically like adding years to your life.
6. Learn a language!
With Duolingo, you can learn Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, or English (from any of the above or more). There’s a mobile app and a website, and the extensive courses are completely free.
Full disclosure: BuzzFeed and other websites are in a partnership with DuoLingo, but they did not pay or ask for this placement.
7. Pickle your own vegetables.
Tired of your farmer’s market haul going bad before you use it all? Or do you just love tangy pickled veggies? You too can pickle like a pro thanks to SkillShare and Travis Grillo.
8. Improve your public speaking skills.
You can take the University of Washington’s Intro to Public Speaking for free online. Once you learn a few tricks of the trade, you’ll be able to go into situations like being asked to present at a company meeting or giving a presentation in class without nearly as much fear and loathing.
9. Get a basic handle of statistics.
UC Berkeley put a stats intro class on iTunes. Once you know how to understand the numbers yourself, you’ll never read a biased “news” article the same way again — 100% of authors of this post agree!
10. Understand basic psychology.
Knowing the basics of psych will bring context to your understanding of yourself, the dynamics of your family and friendships, what’s really going on with your coworkers, and the woes and wonders of society in general. Yale University has its Intro to Psychology lectures online for free.
11. Make your own music.
Step one: Learn how to play guitar: Justin Guitar is a fine and free place to start learning chords and the basic skills you’ll need to be able to play guitar — from there, it’s up to you, but once you know the basics, just looking up tabs for your favorite songs and learning them on your own is how many young guitar players get their start (plus it’s an excellent party trick).
Step two: A delightful free voice lesson from Berklee College Of Music.
Step three: Have you always thought you had an inner TSwift? Berklee College of Music offers an Introduction to Songwriting course completely for free online. The course is six weeks long, and by the end of the lesson you’ll have at least one completed song.
Step four: Lifehacker’s basics of music production will help you put it all together once you have the skills down! You’ll be recording your own music, ready to share with your valentine or the entire world, in no time!
12. Learn to negotiate.
Let Stanford’s Stan Christensen explain how to negotiate in business and your personal life, managing relationships for your personal gain and not letting yourself be steamrolled. There are a lot of football metaphors and it’s great.
13. Stop hating math.
If you struggled with math throughout school and now have trouble applying it in real-world situations when it crops up, try Saylor.org’s Real World Math course. It will reteach you basic math skills as they apply IRL. Very helpful!
14. Start drawing!
All kids draw — so why do we become so afraid of it as adults? Everyone should feel comfortable with a sketchbook and pencil, and sketching is a wonderful way to express your creativity. DrawSpace is a great place to start. (I also highly recommend the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain if you can drop a few dollars for a used copy.)
15. Make your own animated GIF.
BuzzFeed’s own Katie Notopoulos has a great, simple guide to making an animated GIF without Photoshop. This is all you need to be the king or queen of Tumblr or your favorite email chains.
16. Appreciate jazz.
reddit.com
Have you never really “gotten” jazz? If you want to be able to participate in conversations at fancy parties and/or just add some context to your appreciation of all music, try this free online course from UT Austin.
17. Write well.
Macalester College’s lecture series is excellent. If you’re more interested in journalism, try Wikiversity’s course selection.
18. Get better at using Photoshop.
Another invaluable skill that will get you places in your career, learning Photoshop can be as fun as watching the hilarious videos on You Suck At Photoshop or as serious as this extensive Udemy training course (focused on photo retouching).
19. Take decent pictures.
Lifehacker’s basics of photography might be a good place to start. Learn how your camera works, the basic of composition, and editing images in post-production. If you finish that and you’re not sure what to do next, here’s a short course on displaying and sharing your digital photographs.
20. Learn to knit.
Instructables has a great course by a woman who is herself an online-taught knitter. You’ll be making baby hats and cute scarves before this winter’s over!
21. Get started with investing in stocks.
If you are lucky enough to have a regular income, you should start learning about savings and investment now. Investopedia has a ton of online resources, including this free stocks basics course. Invest away!
22. Clean your house in a short amount of time.
Unf$#k Your Habitat has a great emergency cleaning guide for when your mother-in-law springs a surprise visit on you. While you’re over there, the entire blog is good for getting organized and clean in the long term, not just in “emergencies.” You’ll be happier for it.
23. Start practicing yoga.
Most cities have free community classes (try just searching Google or inquiring at your local yoga studio), or if you’re more comfortable trying yoga at home, YogaGlohas a great 15-day trial and Yome is a compendium of 100% free yoga videos. If you’re already familiar with basic yoga positions but you need an easy way to practice at home, I recommend YogaTailor’s free trial as well.
24. Tie your shoelaces more efficiently.
It’s simple and just imagine the minutes of your life you’ll save!

US Holocaust Museum’s “early warning signs of fascism” sign is going viral
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum wants to make sure that fascism doesn’t make a comeback.
A Twitter user snapped a shot of a poster from somewhere inside the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
Judging by dollar sign symbol in the lower right hand corner, the sign looks to be a poster for sale.
The poster is derived from a 2003 article detailing the potential warning signs of an incoming fascist regime. Read more.

“If the past is any indication, Melania is no passive victim. Recently a 2011 interview with Melania on the Joy Behar Show went viral on Twitter. In the interview, Melania defends her husband’s adamant commitment to the birther conspiracy born of the Tea Party—his belief that President Obama is not an American citizen, that he was born in Kenya and that his Hawaii-issued birth certificate was, in fact, a forgery.
‘Do you want to see President Obama’s birth certificate or not?’ Melania asks Behar.
‘I’ve seen it,’ Behar responds.
‘It’s not a birth certificate,’ Melania says as she shakes her head. Here, Melania recites her husband’s conspiratorial and fictitious claims, ones Donald Trump repeated for five years until, in September 2016, he ‘conceded’ that they were untrue. Melania has never indicated whether or not she agrees with that concession.
But Melania has always been willing to defend her husband and to employ tactics that typify the Trump approach to the world. After journalist Julia Ioffe published a profile of Melania in GQ, Melania denounced the piece, calling it ‘yet another example of the dishonest media and their disingenuous reporting.’ When Ioffe received a barrage of anti-Semitic messages and threats, Melania said, that Ioffe “provoked them.” Later, Melania almost trollishly announced that, as First Lady, she would launch a campaign to prevent bullying on the internet, denouncing social media’s “mean and rough” culture.
Social media aside, she’s proven that she’s a willing scribe of the Trump hagiography. In October, Melania sat down with CNN to defend her husband after a leaked tape caught her husband bragging about sexually assaulting women. She called his language ‘boy talk’ and blamed the tape’s release on the conspiratorial ‘left-wing media.’ When asked about the sizable number of women who have accused her husband of sexual assault, she demonstrated that she was no listless vessel, but in full possession of autonomy: ‘I know he respects women but he is defending himself because they are all lies,’ she told CNN.
Like Ivanka Trump, whose brand and subsequent media narratives have worked to distance her from her father’s repugnant ideologies from racist birtherism to sexual assault, Melania is no innocent. She’s willing to vocally defend her husband—not only to stand next to him for the sake of political spectacle or personal gain, but to do the obligatory media tours and, like her step-daughter, insist that he respects women.
Melania Trump is hardly a stand-in for American women, she is neither a victim nor is she lacking agency. Rather she’s an active participant working to construct Donald Trump’s narrative, readily available to put a gauzy domestic veil on his racism and misogyny. Melania Trump doesn’t deserve your sympathy.”

there is no planet or sign that symbolises a closer spiritual route or stronger celestial affluence. all the planets have a unique, special gateway to the spirit because they each represent singular characterisations of the infinite divine oneness, and construct a different route to the portal.
aries find intimacy with the divine following through the expression of impulse, becoming totally centered in the moment of exhilarating personal experience, celestial infusions come with exertion of energy and disregarding the tempo, the seeming restriction of the physical form and following instinct blind. the enraptured wide eyed curious toddler stare at the world around them and giving a name, identity to the universe at the same time as forming an identity of their own, this is play, god is found in play for aries, in enriching new discovery and navigating the world around them, in charging through forests without maps and when they become the warrior fighting the charge of justice or the pioneer of revelation. like a toddler who is learning to build blocks, losing themselves in colour and amusement, giggling at the ascension and becoming temperamental when they are knocked down, being the child is the divine handshake, like a fresh flower that blooms, the aries is here to blossom and revel in the delight of the dancing universe
taurus find intimacy with the divine through the creamy musical harmony, enchanting sensory aroma, ravishing illustration, poetry, beauty, the honey voice of the blues singer, the baby soft blanket they can hold in their hands, gourmet delicacies, sexual intimacy, the experience of going into nature and just being , contemplating the under pathways of the tangled roots or the ancestry in the lines of their palms. taurus is in oneness with the creator when creating, when playing his venus melodies, drawing the wings of a butterfly or manipulating the material plane to make something more beautiful. it is in mindfulness with nature and withdrawing from the rush of the world into a place of soothing, grounded comfort. it is in delighting in the sparkle of the pearls from the clam or relishing in the sweet scent of a frangipani, losing themselves in a book, writing, life’s simple pleasures and pleasure in general. laying their heads back on a ravishing silky pillow, breathing in the aloe dewdrops over morning leaves, the soft skin and crevasses of a body, a beautiful face reflecting back at them, listening to jazz and contemplating the grandness of life, this is taurus and the divine lying side by side

cancers divine intimacy transmutes through the feeling of a baby’s chest rising and falling against their own, the mother tucking in her child and gently singing her piece of creation to sleep. cancer is the heavenly source expressing through both the tranquilizing mother and the receptive child of a parent’s love. through the moon cruise passageway of their wild, illustrious imagination, the moments in solitude gazing at the portraits hanging on their walls with the faces of ancestry staring back at them, that is the root to heaven, the same blood that ran through those veins, the passed loved ones that will forever watch over them; in romantic symphony, poetry about infatuation, standing underneath the moonbeams and inhaling the celestial illumination and wedding dances that last long after every guest has left. the infinite reunites with cancer when they are contemplating the the bursts in their heart derived from the joy of their family, when they lay their healing hands on the ill or nurse someone into wellness, in the moment when every light has gone out, between awake and asleep the sound of their loved ones sleeping soundly lullabies them to gentle celestial reverie
leos divine intimacy comes in the moment of harmonic, stomach pulsing laughter, their very making the creative out of just about anything, leo is ruled by a star, and not a planet; esoterically suggesting the rulership of a higher heavenly dwelling; so the moments standing under their cosmic channel the sun and letting the radiant pores of light swim through their vessels, contemplating the grand architecture of life and the delight in broadway spectacles lighting up the street, becoming entranced in play with a child, charging headfirst like a heavenly warrior in protection of the vulnerable and the pure indulgence of frosted hot mochas. leo is the transcendental channel that dances with the divine when nourishing people with their heavenly rays of inner light, when they become enraptured in their own divine frequencies and submit into their childlike captivation and glory when the world reflects in gleaming magic and possibilities that spill into infinity. leo’s divine touch comes when contemplating the magnificence and majesty of their very selves and their natural deserving royal gratification, reveling in their solitary standing personal power; because this is meditation, time with the divine in self reflection and contemplating their own true, universal beauty. leo transmute the celestial waves of the divine creator like a vessel, they infuse as one during art, theatre, play, self gratification, writing, music, design
virgos intimacy with the divine comes through his needle eye view of the world. all that is beautiful to virgo erupts in subtle, though magnificent spectacle, where crystal cleansed eyes reveal the tiny mechanical operations and provide the golden intricacies of god’s design in a clear lens view. virgo submits to the numinous in the quiet moments when his eyes catch the the tiny sparkling dust particles during sunsets and the moment of entrancement in nature when the luscious fauna allows exhales aloe air into his lungs. his conversations with god come through the sound of his bare feet hitting the earth, aligning their body rhythms to the rhythms of nature, beating their heart at the same time as the universe thumps hers and offering their divinely porcelain crafted hands to service. the guru appears when virgo contemplates the transcendental healing powers of the earth and directs their resonant healing properties through their hands and onto remedying the inflammation of others. in the moment virgo is alone, sensually exercising their own intellect in a wander through their thought neighborhood, the divine is close, ready to channel the letters of the messenger and impart knowledge through conversation and the world of language. in the moments when virgo can be one with the universe and slip in the space behind his thoughts, then he has reunited with the divine
libra find intimacy with the divine when through the myriad of faces that rush past them during their walk to work they spot the one that smiles back. everyone is god in human clothing to libra and through others he transmits his love. their deepest meditation and conversation with their creator comes through the contemplation and applied meaningfulness of soul mates, the delight of establishing social connections and the delight of people in general; propogating the enchantment of holding relationships that have drifted back centuries. and yet while libra catches glimpses of the divine through the eyes of others, their ravenous search for completion means their solitude intrinsically, passively invites in the divine for company and allows his light to fill their leaky spots. when they are curled up fetal position and pleading with all their will for someone to wrap their arms around them, this is the call to the divine whose company transcends the physical touch. when libras realise interdependent system between people, that without the “you” there is no “I” acknowledging the ‘we’, that is recognizing the divine, the celestial bloodline we all share. libras reunion with the infinite comes through entrancing honey suckle melodies and colour, design and form that drips sweetness and beauty. their conversations with god play through song lyrics, musical crescendos, the radiant aromatic bursts of fresh flowers and the glory of morning sunrise spilling through the curtains, every sensory filter is a supernal channel where he blows his mist of mysticism for them to play with in typical libran pleasure
scorpio finds divine intimacy when everything but gravity has been ripped away and he is forced to charge blind; relying solely on intuition and the hidden power they know lies within. scorpios meditative pose is that of destruction acting as the highest form of creativity. becoming a majestic, obliterated force that pours gold into his own cracks and rising a new, sparkling incandescent self. in the midst of trauma and self obliteration, god visits through the peak experience, where scorpio has submitted to the undefined infinite self so he can create a new star; becoming one with the god who is all too familiar with the keys of creation, so a new body of light can be born again into. when the material and exoteric psychological structures that hold scorpio together are decimated by routine plutonian destruction; during that moment of plunging into the darkness, when people and consensual structures dissolve, he is hand in hand with god. traveling through the indwelling, listening to the esteemed archetypal goddesses, curators of sacred wisdom, ancient witches, lost ancestors and resonant esoteric guidance drifting restlessly in the midst of his soul
sagittarius finds intimacy with the divine through the aggressive, ravenous physical and intellectual quest for a tangible god. their chapel of worship transcends beyond the physical structures and desires the peak experience, urging that he becomes one with the universe in inquisitive meditation, research, following a compass, reading maps and searching for a face to face meeting with his creator. sagittarius is reuniting with the divine on a lifelong pilgrimage when he discoveries hidden bible passages that provide the nostalgia of another life, travels far and wide in the name of personal experience, explores universal mysteries, assimilates into new cultures and indulging their intrinsic sense of wanderlust. sagittarius is in divine dialogue when following the pangs of their inflamed intuition and letting instinct prioritize thought. in the search for their true self that lies in an exotic freeway the divine self joins them in synergy and the divine dialogue is transmuted through the voices of wise esoteric authors, cosmic professors, higher educators, mystics and finding the celestial mantlepiece when they step foot through the places they have read about in books, sit in meditation on the enchanting mountaintop and reach the stars they quivered their bow and arrow toward
capricorn finds intimacy with the divine in a formulaic saturnian way, the sacrificial regulatory to a scripture, following the conventional theological doctrine and crystallizing the esoteric structures into halls of worship. in prayer verbatim from the bible, their own powerful faith in structure vapors the spirit of god through the pages. and further, when they transcend beyond searching for god in the establishment, their diamond earth eyes detect every numeric make up of earth’s particles, observe god’s poetry in mathematical music and the fusion of illumination into observable form. their sense of duty to become as intimate with reality as possible is their celestial channel, dancing through the constructions of human creation, when they are justifying their own existence and worth to the universe; creating a universe of their own and lighting a brand new galaxy of new webbed dreams. heavenly saturation comes through recharging in the decorative design of flora and fauna, indulging in formula and contemplating nature’s patterns and chemistry is their deepest spiritual and intuitive process. like the businessman in a heavenly handshake, he is at one with god when exercising his renowned visual senses to ascend to the ethereal dimensions and play with god’s deepest synchronized mechanics
aquarius finds intimacy with the divine in rapturous bursts of intellectual intuition; the pleasurable sensual roam through their own boundless imagination, where they can luxuriate in their ultra matrix of innovative ideals. this is a synergy with god for aquarius, the travel through the crystallized road maps and valleys of the mind to extract futuristic galactic particles, relish in the crayon box of art, science and sacred, water bearer knowledge. god is staring back at him when he is saturated amongst the collective, watching people dance in elation together at music festivals or come together out of love for a surprise birthday party, observing the invisible threads that tie humanity together and delighting amongst the acknowledgment of a shared communion. the celestial rapture ripples through their high voltage arteries when they participate in dismantling structure and experience the exhilarating streaks of social revolution. the godhead is working like an electrical impulse through aquarius in their buzzing frequency that sets shock waves through holy water and shatters crystallized structure through voice, ideas, debate and embracing individuality. the aquarian experiences meditative ascension when they are simply being and wholly absorbed in their own, unique cosmic energy cluster that delights in having a free, unbound universe of free spirited expression where the soul can dance under its own symphonic masterpiece. the experience of god comes through the highest octave of love and creativity for aquarius, when relishing amongst their love of many things in the mindful indulgence of the majesty of creativity
pisces find intimacy with god in the moment dreams and reality fuse, trigger hypnagogic hallucinations and the astral free float into obliteration. the voices of god whispers through esoteric wisdom, poetry, visions, cinema, music and the meditative contemplation of ‘home’, what it is, and why they are longing for something they don’t even know exists. they taste heaven’s nectar when looking out at the universe, absorbing the magical particles that spore across their celestial vision, boarding neptune’s cruise ship through their wild and milky way streaked imagination and entrusting the guidance of the universal source in blind, though intuitive and cerebral driven faith. pisces emanate the deity when laying their healing hands on a cracked soul and injecing their celestial light into the wound, laughing in sync with the giggling baby, sharing their wise material to the zodiac children and providing solace to the disturbed. the divine dialogue transmits in the elusive intoxicated trance when the piscean thought processes become frayed and loses definition. everything spills, inclines and intermixes in etheric watercolour artwork, during the pinnacle moment of not knowing, experiencing the total loss of conscious perception, this is the moment the pisces knows and has become entranced, enveloped in the source.

EVERY STAR IS A MIRROR
Aries ~ The snowflakes of Pisces winter fall and death embraces the zodiac. Sweet, sensual death. Evaporating into the divine, deep in the hollows. And the further we go into darkness, the brighter the light within us shines Bursting to awaken with the first sound of spring, bluebirds echo in the Aries ear, calling… calling… calling…. bring back life, colour, and god’s delight to the bleakness Special child of the divine, still held in heaven’s arms, waiting to be born like an exploding nebula, scattering pieces of itself everywhere out of curiosity and enthusiasm. Follow the sound of bloom, the fresh smell of spring, the feeling of warmth beginning to saturate your spirit once more the earth’s revered child has finally been born. The zodiac begins
Taurus ~ As a child of Venus, Taureans navigate the world through their senses. The fresh air of nature, trees, flowers and wildlife is extremely therapeutic and stimulating for them. They are often acutely sensitive to the seasons and weather changes. There is a real need for contact with nature, which and many Taureans fill the roles of farmers, gardeners, horticulturists or artists who use natural materials. One of the male images of Taurus is that of the green man, the male fertility principle. This sign is the closest manifestation material purity, and their sensory alertness allows them to connect to the five sense experience like no other. They can make universes out of empty sketchbooks, make homes out of half crescent Moons and heatwaves through their determination and spirit. This is all four seasons rolled into one.
Gemini ~ Gemini provides a dazzling display of how the mind works. This mad instrument in all of its glory and its chaos, its genius and dissociation, its ability to create patterns and puzzles and spin the world upside down. Gemini is like a literal mind fuck, you know one minute you are traveling 200,00 miles an hour down one road, into philosophy and corruption of the military and then you have a drunk child on your hands, unable to focus or sit still for a moment. Geminis orgasm can come from conversation, communing with a mind, or meeting an intellect, someone who will talk their ear off all night conveying hypnotizing facts and knowledge. Gemini is always the student and the teacher, forever threading the information inside onto silver wings and blowing them into the ether. They touch people through language, through the way they weave words together to create laughter or conversation or sheer delight. Gemini is spinning deliriously in a world of thought, crossing the borderlines, doing the thinking for both dark and light. Gemini is a book of mysteries inside
Cancer ~ Cancers have a surreal experience of time. It can melt through their mind like dripping honey. The sound of clocks can be intimidating. They need music and oneness, the rhythm of stars. The moon rules Cancer, and before the 30-31 day calendar, we followed the cycle of the moon, a 28 day ‘month’, stemming from ‘mon’, or ‘moon’. And now we live separate from nature, and the Cancer is pulled between materialism and delirium, unsure of what is completely real. But from this conflict evokes a brilliant prophet in the Cancer, a crystal ball that conjures the inner world’s most marvellous vision. Spirit guides reside in the 4th house. So the Cancer can hear thoughts, and these are thoughts of their guide. They can receive intuitive knowledge about the past, a place where the Cancer dwells comfortably, they can be the conduit for ancestral inheritance and the protection of passed descendants, they can swim on a river of divination, because their psychic imagination is so acute. When they fear their own safety, this vision can become dark and volatile. Fear is Cancer’s most destructive poison.
Leo ~ It’s the centre of a star that bursts from Leo and they are pure magic, a splendid cosmic artwork mixed with dripping sun maple and the manifestation of divine creative power. the Leo can stare at themselves and see the universe in their reflection, a flickering light of God burning behind their eyes, constellations made of broken capillaries, sweetness and softness. And there is the roar of the Leo lion, a heart that beats a tattoo in their chest because it is overflowing with love, passion, and desire. The Leo has painted every sparkling essence of time and space with their enchanted paintbrush, that mind is a visual display of milky way fireworks, heaven is a place on earth with Leo. But the Leo can also look in the mirror and see a black hole. It isn’t always so vein and conceited. every flaw echoes so loudly. The Leo just wants to be loved, simply for who they are. Not their fortune, or photographs, or profound generosity. Only the bravest hearts are born under the sign of Leo. It’s sensitive and spirited, ravishing and regal
Virgo ~ The lines and poetry of sacred geometry and mechanical movement come to life before the Virgo eyes. Sacred geometry is the sort of experience the Ancients believed was nourishing for the soul. Virgo becomes intimate with the earth and its divine faculties with more voracity than any sign. There are details perceivable to only the Virgo, like nervous signals jump from their fingertips into their surroundings and electrify the invisible engineering. The Virgo individual is very sensitive to elements, precision, accuracy, and seemingly insignificant components, but nothing is simple to the Virgo, and they recognise the duty and usefulness of everything, the whole dynamic of seasons and earth, the equilibrium and the silent movement. This is what makes Virgo tremendous at occult studies, specifically those requiring analysis like astrology and numerology, and those involving healing properties like minerals and witchcraft. Through intense observation of surroundings, through holding a microscope to every leaf and flower, through watching the reverent dance of the sunrise as they measure the motion by time, they identify with the part of themselves that is infinite. They can unify with the part of themselves that is pure, that is untainted awareness and magnificence and beauty.
Libra ~ With Libra we have the Snow White pages. the innocent beauty who does not know the seduction of her aura, the distressed belle who waits for a prince to save her, despite easily outwitting and serving justice better than any man who takes their hand. and in the antithetical pole, the wretched self consciousness. After Virgo has achieved personal perfection, she wants to be the fairest of them all. she evokes the images of others as she attempts to be all things, a glorious figment. they are the enchanted mirror, although they look into their own searching for others and answers. Libra is every character, the enchanting snow is the jewel in her heart and the melody in her love of people. And the witch, her voices of self resonance. Saturn exalts in Libra and the stepmother is an expression of the domineering Saturn parent, often leaving impossible idealism in the child. The notes of empty comparison against others that wither her supple apple cheeks into dried roses and destroy every venus valley.
Scorpio ~ The human world is rarely enough for Scorpio. That can be why they provoke people’s souls, they want to see your insides, your darkness, your light. They can seem spiritually provocative, it’s like they know how to draw madness out of lovers, they can sense the unseen, they can experience states that question existence. And nothing is ever enough. They don’t want a lover. They want a reunion with a soul mate, their soul. They don’t want sex. They want angelic intimacy, the evaporation of bodies into intwined ether. Scorpio is preparing for death, but they don’t want to leave without truly tasting life. The superficial is rarely enough for Scorpio. They are discontent swimming in shallow waters. They become easily bored when their brilliant mind is under stimulated and unchallenged, they become distracted into unconscious trance when people are dull. And the Scorpio cannot force conversation. There are holes in the world that only Scorpio can see, and they will crawl into one when this world is not enough.
Sagittarius ~ After emergence from the deep Scorpio tomb, the Sagittarius hybrid spirit soars far and wide. The Sagittarius wisdom operates from the laws of nature, stars, archetypes, the Akashic records, the higher mind, and culture. It embodies the divine chant of laughter, the publication and interpretation of symbols, mythology, theology, and religion. Here is the quest for the meaning of life, the pilgrimage to unknown regions in search of understanding and the materialisation of belief. It could be travel, education, relationships, indulgence in intoxicants, or nomadic wandering through religion. The Sagittarius guru is the scholar. His temple is filled with books, compasses, astrology notes, and artifacts from every country. He uses comedy for his teachings and applies experience to philosophy and scripture. Waiting in the middle of winter, the Sagittarius speaks many languages and knows many ways of life. He is approachable and warm, filled with light and spice. Even with the wrinkles of time, the spirit of youth always radiates. Old as the trees and free as a bird, as young as the sunrise and as old as the night.
Capricorn ~ To stand on top of the mountain, to stare over the edge of the midheaven, sometimes all you would ever see would be your own shadow. And the Capricorn’s shadow can linger like a heavy fog, always threatening, always concerning. At her peak, she radiates like a Mistress of Brilliance, she has scaled the land and sea, starred in her own dream and written her own success story. She has stood behind people and encouraged their ascent in her graces she has climbed and flown, a mountain goat, pursuing the grand land and salty sea. In all of this, she has only had herself to rely on, and a voice of wisdom, found only in the darkest moments. She can be hungry for descent because she understands the reigns of flight. The Capricorn is contained, and yet they are the stitches that thread the stars, the grand mastery of it all. In her spirit wields the resources of the Gods, each of whom have tried and tested her. Through the Capricorn’s shadow, a self portrait is created. It reveals the most powerful triumphs of human kind. The undeniable component of the shadow is that in its presence it reflects only light. The Capricorn is capable of wielding both in their starry ascent toward the heavens, an intuitive focus in strategic command, a skilled concentration that gleams fantasy into reality. The shadow can be lined in exquisite silver.
Aquarius ~ Telepathy could be the Aquarius enchantment. Telepathy into the web of consciousness, the matrix of thought that connects all beings together. Telepathy into the ideas of the sky, cascading like a diamond waterfall into the Aquarius mind. And there is telepathy into the knowledge of stars and space dwellers. The Aquarius mind is a conduit for all sorts of cosmic contemplation. It receives tremendous visions of utopia and elevating bursts of intuition. It also soaks up space junk, and this may turn into madness. Aquarius is the last moment of thought before we capsize into Pisces dream. They look out to the stars to find their soul mate. They stare into the sea to contemplate infinity. They test logic against galaxies of invisible wonder. The Aquarius mind diffuses an extraterrestrial perfume, their thoughts dart through constellations and fields of existence. Underneath the disorder is a mind that sparkles like the diamonds that rain on Uranus. Inconceivable. Curious. Marvellous.
Pisces ~ Pisceans can try on new personalities like they try on shoes, and with those unusual feet hardly any shoes, from heels to flats or docs seem to fit properly, like all these personalities she tries to be, none of them cloak her soul with the colours. Nothing ever seems to fit those shades she knows ripple inside, those pastels that haven’t been invented yet. From room to room she moves, shifting face and shape, slippery with sea salt infused in her skin, impossible to catch or define, lost and wandering, the facets of a thousand personalities. It feels so foreign being trapped in a body, when she can feel wings fluttering behind her shoulder blades, and scales shimmer under her thighs. Like a mirror carved in heaven, reflecting people as angels. She is the stain glass window that forever changes colour and tone, paint streaked over her spirit, impossible to conceive without a kaleidoscope. She knows her true self resides at home The home in the sky, made of clouds and liquid love. But for now the show must go on. Who do I dress as today. Nobody knows.

Mercury Signs
MERCURY IN ARIES:
Mercury in Aries is quick thinking. They don’t have a lot of patience for studying every angle to every problem
they would rather make a decision and let you know. Candid and direct, they get to the point. While they may appear crude or aggressive at times, it is usually because they are trying to overcome opposition to their ideas. Like a child, it doesn’t occur to them that someone may disagree with them, and so they may act out of frustration. Mercury in Aries is very attached to their ideas.
They tend to streamline their learning so they don’t get too bogged down in details. They take what they want and dismiss anything they feel may be irrelevant. Mercury in Aries has a certain innocent charm. They love to begin new things, and they are very enthusiastic. Any negative criticism will be taken personally, even if it was not meant that way. They are not afraid to stand up to a challenge. While idealistic, they are very intelligent.
Aries Mercury may quickly jump from old ideas to new if they seem more exciting. They are excellent promoters. They know how to motivate people and make things sound fun. They enjoy competing with others, and may argue a point just for fun.
They are mentally agile and can think well on their feet. Obstacles in their path are terribly frustrating for them. This may bleed over to other areas in their life as well as communication. Aries Mercury is known for their impatience.

Why do artists refuse to use references why why why.
It’s not a contest to see who can get by without them. It’s not cheating to look at a thing in order to know what the thing looks like.
You don’t get stronger or better by pretending. Nobody is impressed by the awkward whatever-it-is you just drew. Use references.

I'm fucking dying but like also 👀📝
Magdalena Frackowiak’s Skin Rules
Firstly, don’t touch your skin, because your hands have a lot of bacteria. I also believe in always using alcohol gel on your hands, because everywhere we’re touching things.
When I say goodbye to someone I don’t kiss, because this also has a lot of bacteria [laughs]. Don’t kiss just anyone, that’s my advice.
Never try to push a pimple. If you have one, the best thing you can do is to take a pure alcohol on a Q-tip, and delicately touch it.
I’ll often make myself a natural mask with honey and avocado, or I’ll make a mask with oats and milk - oats are very good as a scrub to cleanse the skin. I also like pure oils - like avocado oil. I’ll warm it in my hands and rub it in.
When I wake up, I wash my face only with water, and I take a small towel and dab it gently.
In terms of products, I use Doctor Alkaitis organic moisturiser - with no perfume, no chemicals; just natural products inside. I try wherever possible to keep my skin free from chemicals day-to-day. I have an amazing herbal toner from Dr Alkaitis, but very little else.
I also like to make a hot bath for my skin: combine some oils and herbs and let the pores open, and then use a towel afterwards to gently dab the skin.
Having said that, I see Dr Colbert in New York and he has an amazing three-part treatment: the first level is basically a machine that takes away all the dirt and cleans your skin; then there’s a delicate laser that closes your pores; then the third level is an acid used like a peel. And that’s the only treatment I will do.
When I travel, I make sure I have a good natural moisturiser to rehydrate my skin, and once I’m on the flight I’ll put on a mask and just sleep with it on.
Make-up is also very important because it can clog your skin, and you don’t want your skin to be clogged. There is an Armani foundation that I use, it’s already very thin, but I’ll mix it with a little moisturiser before I apply.
Then vitamins, because vitamins nourish your skin from the inside out. Vitamin E, A, all the omegas, and fish oil are all very important - and also I like to eat chicken soup because it contains collagen. I eat a lot of avocado, a lot of fish, beef - because your skin is built from these oils. You need to care for the skin from inside. I can have pasta, trust me - I live in Italy. I’m not torturing myself.
Another thing I do, and this comes from my mother, is I sleep like this [mimes totally still, on her back, corpse pose]. You don’t want to wrinkle.
The other things are quite obvious. I drink a lot of water, I like hot water and lemon to clear the skin. Don’t smoke, and I don’t drink alcohol at all. I’m 30 and I have not one wrinkle, so this is why. It’s all about being very delicate with your skin and treating your skin like it’s your best friend. I say to all the young models, who are there backstage with a cigarette: “Don’t smoke!” It kills, you know, it really kills. You see that girl in 10 years and she won’t still be working, you’re like: “Wow, she changed so much,” because she destroyed herself. Don’t party too much, don’t take drugs: you get the face you deserve.
I like to stretch, I think it’s very important for your body, so I do yoga and pilates, but I don’t like to go to the gym and work out. I don’t have that body type. Some girls, like Izabel Goulart, have that body and look great that way, but I treat it the same way as my skin; you have to be very delicate with your body. I don’t like to have muscles, but I also don’t like to be too skinny. Sometimes I notice I got too skinny, and even my skin will suffer - maybe if I’ve been working too much - but it’s about balance.
I’m really proud to say I turned 30, and I’m getting so many compliments now. I’m a woman and I took care of myself.
