The term “priceless” has always bothered me. I mean, think about it, really. The word priceless literally translates to “without price”. So, logically, that would mean something is free, because by definition, something that’s free is priceless.

Allow me to tell you about my first ever DM who made the entire group traumatized after my friend/partner in crime for the story accidentally set off a 7.5 earthquake which shook the entire planet and lasted for 5 seconds by saying “Click, Click, Snap.” Every time we hear those words we pretend to scream in terror and two other people yell “Knife?!” And “SHINY BOX THING!!!”

And then I somehow became a god with my own following all while being an anarchist. Amber, DM, I hope you know that I will be finding out what the cloak you gave me did and I will never use it in anything except bullying my lesser companion.
