My husband and I are visiting his parents for Easter weekend in Westchester, but we got away for a short day trip to New York City and maxed out on culture consumption. It has been a very long time since I was as blown away by a stage musical as I was seeing Sunset Blvd. on Saturday. I saw Mandy Gonzalez as Norma Desmond because I wasn't interested in seeing Nicole Scherzinger, and she was fantastic, but the production was even so much bigger than her. I guess I don't want to spoil any of the surprise elements for anyone here, but it was truly gag-worthy.
