Today is the 27th day of the month, it's zephy's 31st month. But we're still here at the hospital. These are the photos taken from day 1 here in the hospital upto last night .. I saw her cry, saw her in pain.. difficult to breath, asthma suddenly hit her, pneumonia silently making her weak.. she lost her appetite , from hour to hour milk and meal request to none😔 I can see how fast her body slim down and her skin become dull😩 but she was very brave, she knew she needed the treatments .. she knew we needed to stay longer. From IV insertion to nebulizing she only cried for awhile and give the doctors her smile after. Im so proud to have a brave little girl who knows how to fight and endure, to be patient and to thank the nurses and doctors by giving them her smile with fist bumps and high fives😆🤣😆 I guess, being honest to her helped me to make her understand that the little pain she will feel from needles and meds will make her feel fine. To my zephy: i love you so much, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for you. To the family who helped me all through this, thank you😊 To the nurses and doctors of the VRP medical center who never failed to check on her and make her smile, to always always telling her she looks like THE #scarletsnowbelo thank you😊 We'll be going home soon😊thank you for all the prayers. My little advice to moms maybe, is ...being honest to your kids will always help. Let them know there will be pain from the injections and let them know the real taste of their meds , your kids are smart and they will know it eventually..they will understand if you will tell them what is it for. Be with them. Your hug means a lot. As much as it will make them feel better it will make you feel better too believe me. Carry them even if it hurts your back. Cuddle them and be funny for them. Always have their backs to whatever treatments they wil have to go through.
