Aubrey examined the black sweater, then the girl, her eyebrows knitting in concentration. “Well..” she shrugged “It’s tacky.” It was after a few moments that Aubrey realized her comment was a bit.. brash. She cleared her throat, ready to give an explanation. “I mean.. I just don’t get what the fuss with boyfriend-type of sweaters is all about, the majority of them don’t compliment the silhouette at all.” she stated with honesty, shifting her stare to the girl. “Yes, maybe if you tuck it into your jeans, it will look better. You’re lucky you’re cute and you can pull this sweater off.”

she immediately lowered the sweater at the other’s comment, draping it over her arm as a defeated expression took hold of soft features. zara had always been one to take any sort of negative remark to heart and despite how hard she tried, this wasn’t a quality she could turn off whenever she pleased. however, the blonde’s cheeks warmed and a ginger smile gradually shown through. “ yeah? well –– i can always try something else. what do you think would look good? ”

“my plants died this morning so now i have to throw them out. but before i do that i want to hold a funeral for them. they were so so so important to me that i absolutely have to have this final goodbye. so do you mind coming to their funeral? it would mean the world to me.” maddie handed them a flyer she had put around campus just to get people to come, “as you can see on the handout there’s gonna be drinks and snacks afterwards so can i count on you to be there?”

“ –– – that sounds AWFUL, of course i’ll come. ” zara took the flyer from the other and held it tightly, nodding understandingly. “ should i bring anything? maybe some seeds, so you can grow something new? ”

sorry for not being on a lot recently; i’ve had tests and quizzes in every class as well as several projects . i hope to be on either today or tomorrow but tbh there’s not enough time in the day bc i ?? take forever to do anything ––– molasses ain’t got nothin’ on how slow i move . i’ve got several replies drafted so mayhaps i’ll get to those a lil later , we gon see how the rest of this afternoon goes bc i gotta study + my dad is getting me sushi ?? i wanna take my time and enjoy that kno what i mean . so until i do my replies ... catch u on the flipside
