BENVOLIO: What comes to mind when you think of peace? 

When I think of peace, the river comes to mind. In the jungle, there’s this giant river that flows right on through the area my dad and I lived in. We would spend hours in there, playing, and just floating- it was great, and so, so relaxing.

CELIA: Do you want to fall in love?

Absolutely. I don’t really know what it is, or what it feels like. I’m not so sure bears feel love the same way humans do- or at least, I know that they don’t show it the same way. I’d really like to treat someone the way I see in the movies, though. You know, give them flowers and make sure they feel really special because I’m sure they will be. 

HAMLET: Do you prefer to think things through thoroughly or act on impulse?

I don’t think I’ve done many things that require big decisions, but the one thing I did- coming here, to WDA, was definitely on impulse. I mean, I did think about it a lot but it was more like a dream than me actually thinking how I could get here. When I actually came here, it was on impulse, so maybe a mix of the two? 

JULIET: What is your favorite luxury?

My favorite luxury is probably watching TV and movies. We didn’t have that stuff in the jungle, and it’s really interesting. Honestly, the concept of having it at all- people watching other people and all, is really cool? They do come up with some pretty cool stories though!

PARIS: If you had the chance to rule the world, would you?

Definitely not. I’m having a hard time just getting through my daily life sometimes, I can’t imagine being in charge of everyone. That’d be much too stressful, and I’d probably do an absolutely terrible job.

CLAUDIUS: What is the worst thing you’ve ever done?

“Oh, gods. Probably not being there for Piper in the way she needed me, when she needed me. I didn’t treat her right after our parents died, and I fucked up.”

EDMUND: Do you ever wish you’d been born someone else? If so, who?

“Mm, not really. I’ve always been pretty happy with my life, though, it’d be nice if I’d been born less anxious.”

HECATE: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

“I am 103% an introvert. Well, actually, I mean…sometimes I feel like I might be an ambivert, but I really lean more towards introversion.”

ORSINO: If you could have any material thing in the world, what would it be?

"A VAN GOGH PAINTING WITH HIS AUTOGRAPH. I COULD DIE HAPPY.”

PORTIA: When did you lose your innocence?

“Mmm, well, probably when I lost my parents, but also after everything that went down with Richard, I couldn’t let myself be innocent or as naive as I’d been in the past.”

TYBALT: If you could kill one person without consequences, who would it be?

“The flaming Cheeto with corn husk hair that’s fucking everything up and fucking everyone over…”

Antony: What bad habits do you need to break?

“Pft. I don’t have any bad habits. Why would you even ask a question like that?” (She could stop being so reckless/impulsive all the time. It might stop her from getting in so much trouble)

Circe: Would you rather be loved or feared?

“Both…? Both is good.” 

Edgar: Do you want to make your family proud?

“Of course! Who doesn’t want to make their family proud? If you don’t, you’re doing something wrong.”

Mercutio: Is there anyone you would die for?

“My family for sure. Probably my friends too. I guess I’d have to be in that situation to really know, but I could easily see myself saving my friends, even if it cost me my life.” 

Puck: Do you consider yourself a mischievous person? 

“Absolutely. I’m surprised mischievous isn’t my middle name.” 

Titania: Do you believe in magic?

“How else do you explain half of the things in the world?”

Georgia, 1994. It’s the beginning of a tragedy when two young adults meet for the first time, a crime so horrific it shocked the community of Madison. A body of a college student is found, massacred. The fear grows when another victim, same age, is found few days later, and it just keeps going. Ruth Oswald, the daughter of the reverend, and Benjamin Riker, town’s known troublemaker took the lives of six college students within weeks. Four survived. Oswald was killed at the scene of the final crime, while Riker managed to escape never to be seen again.

Twenty years later and the murders that destroyed so many peoples’ lives have become Madison’s claim to fame. It started with the books Penny Driver wrote about the Madison Murders, then movies that came after, and then the rumours that there was a Netflix series in the works. The Madison Murders are a very real local legend but now everything is almost back to normal. There are families in the town that are still affected by the events but for most it’s just something that happened. Kids will celebrate the anniversary, playing tricks and dressing up, ghost stories will be told around a campfire but otherwise Madison has moved on. For now at least.

athena had been watching the boisterous girl trying to talk with someone else for a few minutes now. she’d heard stories about the girl– how she was from earth, not disney. however, even not being from here, she seemed like everything athena wanted to be. friendly, not a care in the world. all of that had definitely intrigued the young riddle, and she decided she had to talk to her. athena waited until the other had finished talking with that person before standing up and walking over to her. “hey,” athena said quickly and quietly, cursing at herself. would the other girl even hear her? “hi !!” the other replied with cheer, a big grin on her face. “you’re so pretty,” she told athena. athena could help but smile at the compliment and positivity surrounding the girl. “what’s your name?” athena asked, desperate to get to know the other. “madison !” athena went to stick her hand out for a handshake, but madison went in for a hug. “i’m athena.”

“We’re going to get caught!”

athena furrowed her eyebrows as the girl was suddenly concerned. “what?! madison this was your idea,” athena said as she looked up towards the other who was on top of the ladder, trying to tag a wall. athena wasn’t all that sure what had gotten the girl into graffiti all of a sudden, but she was almost always supportive of madison’s decisions– even the questionable ones. “mads, climb down you can try graffiti another time. if we ditch now we won’t get caught.

“Why do you like me so much?”

“mads, what’s not to like? you’re practically bursting positivity with every step you take, you make the best cookies, you have the best ideas for halloween and give me ideas when i need them.” athena sighed, sitting herself next to the girl who was practically in tears over forgetting athena’s birthday. she wrapped her arms around madison, holding her close. “best of all, you stopped me from being so lonely. you’re so welcoming to me, so nice– something i never had growing up.”
