Hi! I'm alive, I promise! Just dropping in real fast to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, a Happy Holidays, and a Happy December all around. Don't mind me, I've just been distracted by an everything this year.
Take care, everyone!

I haven’t done some art in a hot minute, and found myself in a Sonic the Hedgehog mood. So then I drew Cream! So have a Cream the Rabbit, everyone!

(Re-posted in an attempt to fix something. It didn’t work lol)
REuploaded this on Christmas Day and totally forgot to upload it here... Somehow. I’m usually good about uploading things to everywhere... ANYWAY!
Originally created for Christmas 2017, but wasn’t finished until after New Years because I am absolutely terrible with making deadlines on time. Was posted to an old channel (of the same name) until said channel was deleted since I wasn’t sure if I’d be using it (YouTube made me very nervous at the time with how much they seemed to be changing things).
Decided to reupload it since I had brought the channel back! So ... yeah! Hope everyone’s holiday went well!

SURPRISE ART POST!! Yeah... This was KIND OF meant to be a Halloween-ish picture, but as usual I miss the deadline. Drew this thing while at work. Because it was incredibly dead. Choosing to color it was a kind of last minute decision though, which I guess is why it was also posted kinda late? But hey... It’s a post. And I think I like my little nameless green witch.

OC Time? OC Time! This is Galene. Shes a blue space elf, and ice mage. Drew her mostly on my phone at work (because work is boring!)

Commission time! This time from a friend of mine who goes by Teeky811. He wanted something Dragonball related, and I was happy to oblige. I’ll be honest... Trying to emulate Toriyama’s artstyle was very difficult... However, Teeky was happy with the result, and I’m rather pleased with how this thing turned out, myself, so I’m calling it a win-win!
... Lots of references were looked up when trying to put those darn Dragon Balls together... Thank goodness for friends to assist me in that, too!

Recreated the YouTube Channel!
youtube
So basically I recreated an old animation channel after a friend of mine dug this out of an old laptop, and sent it to me. (He only had it because I didn’t want to simply post it on YouTube at the time...)
Originally made the channel when I made this (and the Twitter) as something of an animation companion thing of sorts. Then I kept witnessing YouTube get weird with creators and it scared me out of making animation posts... which then prompted me to delete the old channel completely.
BUT NOW IT’S BACK!
This was one of the last animations I’d done late in my college career, roughly around 2010 - 2012 or so, so this thing is... OLD.
Will this get me back into animating, or just animating more in general? Eh, I dunno. I have a hard time sitting down and completing big assignments as it is, as I am easily distracted... Not to mention the day job. So animations would take me far longer than an animator who has more than enough time to devote to their work. (I really wish that were me, but at the same time I’m afraid of burnout...)

Originally posted exclusively to Twitter, with Annie being posted on April 10, 2021, and Beowulf being posted April 29th, 2021.
These were submissions for an art contest held in celebration of Fukua’s 1 year anniversary ... of being introduced into Skullgirls Mobile, with the deadline for entering was... yesterday! May 1st, 2021! Which is mostly why I decided to wait to post everywhere else!
Obviously, the theme of this art contest was “Evil Twin”, in which we had to choose a Skullgirls character, make an evil twin for them, and submit them under the tag #SkullgirlsEvilTwin.
Annie’s idea was simply... opposites of the real one, where the real Annie’s color pallet was mostly green, this Annie’s would be variants of red. I even made her eyes blue, as opposed to the real Annie’s yellow. The eyepatch is actually supposed to be on the left eye, since canonically, the real Annie’s eyepatch is on her right eye. I wasn’t sure what to do with this Annie’s Sagan, so he just kind of became this big shadow monster who came out from behind the eyepatch. The symbol on her chest is basically a black hole. Or something that I attempted to read as such (black holes are harder to draw than expected?) which... I guess is the opposite of a star? It originally was going to be a moon, but decided against it.
Beowulf was ... difficult. I’ve never really drawn characters of his body type (and to be honest, consider myself not so wonderful at drawing male anatomy anyway, though I’m pleased with how he turned out) ... I mean he kind of already has an evil twin in the form of what’s called “Wulfsbane”, though that wasn’t exactly its own character, as much as simply something to mess with Beowulf.... I tried to take inspiration from real life wrestling for this one, and though wrestlers don’t really change costumes that much, when changing “alignment” (I think there were some exceptions?) I felt that I couldn’t just give him his original pallet. Then it’d just be original Beowulf in sunglasses (Oh, and Hurting too...) so I gave him a black and white pallet!

This picture was a large series of firsts for me...
The beach chair took me AGES to put together, even when I was looking up references for the damn thing, and I’ve never actually drawn anyone barefoot before...
Backgrounds are still rather tough for me to do, and I’ve TRIED looking up references for that one as well, but couldn’t get anything to look right?
Anyway, this was a commissioned piece for a friend! It’s Suguri from 100% Orange Juice, with the colors said friend uses for the character, since normally she has more silver hair than dark gray-ish hair. His Suguri wears a black bikini and has this little rabbit plush pet following her around, so he wanted me to draw her cuddling this plush.
If anyone is able, feedback is welcome so I can improve pieces like this in the future!

Was trying to figure out what to draw. A friend of mine suggested I draw Ryuko from Kill la Kill as a fairy, so I did! I know next to nothing about the series, aside from ... what I discovered WHILE looking up references (like an alternate, more revealing outfit, which I could have used, but decided against it), and I guess her outfit is kind of alive? And this girl is apparently very angry, or something?
Anyway, hope this is ok for the fans of the series. Also, backgrounds are still difficult. Was not sure what to do with it so... sparkles all around!

A spontaneous bunny girl sprite made in Aseprite. Basically, a reupload only because after looking at the old one for a while, I noticed something odd. Yay for sprites being easily fixed!
Even in sprite from, though, skirts are STILL A BITCH.

This is just a very small doodle that just kind of wouldn’t leave my brain until I made it?

I’ve felt the need to post something here that WASN’T art for once, but I’m not so sure what to say... I’m not very good at expressing myself in words... Either way, though, here we go...
2020 has been quite the rollercoaster. A lot of people had their lives changed, for better, or for worse, and I’d be lying if I said mine was not affected in some way, either.
Like a lot of people, I’d found myself without a job, and spent the majority of this year searching for one. Though, most would see it as a stressful time, I found it incredibly freeing, since I had gotten out of a job that had made me very depressed and unmotivated to do much in terms of art. I am also very lucky in I have family, and friends, willing to support me.
I’d actually done a lot more art this year, than in previous years, because of it! Though, I am still very slow at producing art than most people, and I still have trouble meeting self-made deadlines. Distractions aside. (and I am VERY bad at being distracted. Mostly video games.)
I know I still have a ways to go in improving my art. I’m not really sure how much I’ve improved at all this past year, but I hope it was a little bit.
I also hope that in 2021, and beyond, I can continue to create, improve, and post my art for people to see. I hope. I’d like to honestly re-extend this to animations, since originally this blog was to include animation...
For those of you who see this, and my art, thank you for taking the time to look, even if it’s just a passing scroll.
Here’s to a better, healthier, and very productive year!

I knew I wasn’t going to make the deadline for a Christmas themed picture, so I decided to just make something winter themed. Kinda inspired by the fact that it ACTUALLY managed to snow on Christmas Day this year, here.
Took me FOREVER to get things looking right...
Kinda played around with brushes this time around. Kind of.

So I decided to be a total sheep and check out Among Us, after watching SO MANY PEOPLE play it. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d even be good at the game, since I can’t lie to save my life, but I’ve found I have fun! Even when I’m Imposter. Solo games can be a little hit and miss though...
Anyway! Despite wanting to try my hand at the Crewmate for a while, what really inspired this was a group I had today that was super chill, to the point where we were trying to find ways to keep in contact after we went our separate ways. I hung around someone named Jem, and it was wonderful!

First posted this on an old DeviantART account I’ve kind of used off and on, and had debated posting it here too. Spoilers: It was a very, very short debate.
Original characters dressed as Alice in Wonderland characters! Why does the one dressed as Alice have a knife? Because she can. It kind of gave me “Madness Returns” vibes. Minus all of the blood. And crazy?
If there’s one thing this piece of art has taught me is... I hate thick linework...

A commissioned piece done for a friend who goes by the name TheBigKaz, of his DnD character, Taroa. I’d debated on posting this, but eventually was just like... why not? I’m pretty pleased with how she turned out, even though she took me nearly two weeks to finish...
