Ne is this most socially isolating function to have in your top 2 function slots. I said what I said. It is an exuberant child that sees the wonder and possibility in the world and is woefully disappointed at what millennia of people have done with it, yet still believes, somehow; That we can make a world closer to that ideal than before we were here.

It’s like having social anxiety as an extrovert. Imagine having a core fundamental need to connect deeply and openly with others about the big things in the world; as well as a natural talent for seeing all the potential they hold within them and being met with all your enthusiasm and excitement with cold politeness. A wall of social etiquette and a perpetual need for small talk for fear of seeming aloof, loud or inappropriate.

You are a child reaching out to be held and swap stories being pushed away and told to grow up or be realistic. You are a puppy being swatted away and sent to training school because your natural existence is a nuisance and not valued by the predominantly sensing world.

It’s being to shrink and soften and silence yourself to be accepted tolerated by the world. When the reality is there is not a small enough size you could shrink to, in order to bring them peace. Because peace is the antithesis of why you were made. You were made to disrupt and dream. To tell people that quiet is not the same thing as peace. That conflict often NEEDS to happen in order for there to be true harmony.

Harmony is not everyone singing the same tune. It’s a mass of voices and notes and instruments coming together, sometimes playing in conflict, that nevertheless sounds beautiful when played together.
