So... I found this and now it keeps coming to mind. You hear about "life-changing writing advice" all the time and usually its really not—but honestly this is it man.
I'm going to try it.

Hey! Thanks for making such an informative blog also I wanted to ask do you have a masterpost of all the interviews featuring ggdd???
Thanks for your help!!!
Hi Anon! I’m glad to know you find my blog informative.
Your question is a very good one. After so many years of being in the fandom, it never really occurred to me to create a master list of their joint interviews. And for that, I appreciate your question because it has given me the opportunity to put one together 👏👏👏
Here’s what I can share with you in response to your question - master list of GGDD joint interviews. I assume you meant interviews where they’re together. If it’s solo for each, that list will be miles long 😀
I tried to organize based on the timeline, picked the ones with English subs and full length versions instead of short clips and I tried to use mostly YouTube videos too. Hopefully, it won’t be restricted in your region and you can watch these clips
August 2018
Bazaar interview on set
youtube
Tencent Livestream Interview on set (not completely sure which month this is but it’s taken during filming)
youtube
Sina Interview on set 1
youtube
July 2019
Sina Interview at HQ
youtube
Backstage Interview with the Untamed Cast
youtube
Day Day Up Backstage Interview
Click here for the Twitter link, cut in 5 vids due to Twitter limitations. If I find my bookmark with the full length vid, I will update this or upload a new post.
Just allow me to add this funny anecdote.. has GG ever been addressed by his pet name Zhan Zhan in any interview? I think only in this TTXS interview...
August 2019
Bazaar Bonus Edition released Aug 2019 (includes Bazaar on set + Bazaar Photoshoot interview)
youtube
Happy Camp Skit (ok I know it’s not an interview per se but they’re like being asked to repeat the skit so let’s make it count, shall we?) here’s the VIP BTS version. I love this because this has the ‘old cow eats young grass’ moment
While the episode aired Aug ‘19, highlights of that episode was released again Oct for VIP subscribers only. There’s no sub in MGTV app, but here’s one from Twitter
The Untamed Launch Event in Beijing with Haikuan and Fan Xing
youtube
Highlight Interview
youtube
September 2019
Thailand Fan Meet Inteview by Bazaar
youtube
HotPot TV interview during Thailand Fan Meet
Untamed Thailand Press Conference
And the rest are compilations, like one stop shop collection of interviews
The Untamed 1st anniversary 160 minutes Interview
The Untamed Thailand Fan Meet Interview (WeTV)
The Untamed Summer Memory Interview
101 Reasons to love the Untamed promo
youtube
Here’s another good compilation video of select scenes in various interviews, 20 minutes long
And that’s it Anon.. while I started this post saying I am happy you asked this question, now I am ending it by saying I feel sad..
It’s been more than a year since they had a joint interview. I mean sure, there’s no reason now because they don’t have any joint projects, but still, it would be great and I look forward to the day that I’ll see them again together in the same frame for an interview

Xiao Zhan’s Award Speech at Douyin Awards
If you read my post from yesterday then you know how concerned I am about Xiao Zhan right now. Today again he was barely able to dredge up a smile when he was accepting his award and walking the red carpet.
“I’m very grateful to Douyin for giving me this honour. 2020 was an unforgettable year for me, I hope 2021 would be smooth for everyone, have good health and for me I hope to produce more good works to repay everyone’s love. Thank you.”
He expressed the same sentiments EXACTLY as he did a year ago, and as he said in his interviews last year - “I just want things to go smoothly.”
Fans, listen up. Don’t make waves this year. Don’t try to “help.” Let this man live in peace.
If you want to support him, watch his professional works. That’s all.

Why you should stop sharing the animated gif about measuring Yibo’s waist
I wanted to provide a bit more context about why I’m upset about people sharing the images of Yibo’s waist being measured when he was 17.
Context
First of all, you can watch a full video of the TV show he was on with Uniq when this happened. Context makes it slightly less offensive as the people who are measuring his waist are his friends, his band members from Uniq. But the way the post was shared made it look like random people that didn’t know him were feeling Yibo up. Which is appalling. Look at Yibo on that day. Does he look old enough for you to be ogling his waist?
Age
Yibo was not yet 18 when he went on this show. Personally, I wish they had never measured his waist on the show in the first place. But as a young person just starting out as an idol, he had no clout with which to have right of refusal. You can’t ask a child of 17 to be mature enough to disallow others from doing this to him on TV. I wish his older bandmates had protected him but they thought it was funny and probably didn’t think that years and years later people would still be sharing this clip. The gif below was literally taken on the same day.
Yibo is uncomfortable with people talking about his waist
I have almost never seen Yibo look more uncomfortable or unhappy than when Yu Bin was asked to “measure his waist” with his arms.
We know from other instances, namely this time he went to a fanmeeting with the cast of The Untamed, that he is uncomfortable with people discussing their waist sizes. In Yibo’s own words, “Normally we look at faces not waists!”
youtube
Yibo is so uncomfortable when being asked about his eating habits that he starts to stutter and then Xiao Zhan slides in to try to control Yibo and the conversation.
Body Image
Yibo is not like idols like Lay who are doing underwear commercials with their whole body on display. Something that you will notice about him if you’re paying attention is that for years Yibo has never gratuitously shown off his body unless it’s in a scene for a role, such as the latest bathtub scene from Legend of Fei. Even when he performed EOEO at the last Yuehua Family Concert in 2019, he didn’t do the move where he pulled up his shirt to show his abs.
Yibo clearly doesn’t want people looking at his body this way anymore.
Even when he went on Summer Surf Shop, when all the other people there were topless Yibo kept his shirt on. Why? Maybe he didn’t want people looking at him that way. He said himself that he needed to put on some colour for his role as Chen Yu, so sunburning was not the reason.
So I beg of you. Have a little respect. Stop sharing pictures of underage Yibo’s waist. If you were one of the 500+ people that retweeted that tweet, go and delete it for the love of Yibo.

Background info on Xiao Zhan
OBirthday: 5th of October 1991
Fans name: 【小飞侠】 Xiao Fei Xia (Small flying adventurer translated literally, or Peter Pan)
Favorite color: Red
Graduated from Chong Qing Technology and Business University, International Modern Design Art School
Xiao Zhan participated in various school events in his university and won many awards in his singing performances, such as “Ten Best Singers”.
Xiao Zhan and his friends created a design studio in 2012, he worked as cameraman and created various logos and visual promotion products. After graduating, he continued working as a designer for a year under one of his teachers.
Originally a 2D designer, Zhan participated in an idol selection show X-Fire in 2016. He wanted to pursue his music dream, he said. After all, he was still only 25 at that time. Along with 8 other band members, he was part of a boy band called X-Nine, operating under the company Wajijiwa. His role within the band was lead vocal.
His acting in the 2 idol dramas that the band members participated in got noticed by some workers in the filming industry. XZ also made friends with young actors within the industry while on set shooting Wolf Highness. His period dramas were also what convinced the producer of The Untamed to let him try out the main character Wei WuXian.
By 2018, BeiTang MoRan earned him more fans and his popularity increased, which led to his Doki! Popularity award of 2018.
At the beginning of 2019, X-nine disbanded all but in name. Four of its members went to participate in another idol selection show, the others chose to focus more on shooting movies or TV shows.
XZ workload increased but he was still operating solo with no manager. Some brands approached XZ for collaborations and were refused by the company Wajijiwa, possibly to focus more resources into promoting their younger artists. Many fans caught him going to variety shows and events alone, getting his events canceled without notice. It was unclear why exactly Wjjw suddenly treated him this way.
From January 2019 to June 2019, the situation got bad enough that the company stopped all promotion of his activities. Wjjw tried to block all potential sponsors from reaching him, even sending lawyer’s notices to the ones who already signed with XZ before. They also tried to prevent XZ’s name to be associated with The Untamed (when he’s playing the main character!)
(Later on, it was revealed that XZ took legal action in May 2019, a month before The Untamed was released, probably in order to put pressure on Wjjw for the drama to be aired in time for summer vacation.)
XZ’s booming popularity with the success of The Untamed gave him more say within the company. He successfully established his own studio on September 28th 2019.

I recently fell in love with the drama The Untamed, adapted from the novel Mo Dao Zu Shi, and since have been obsessed with the two lead actors Xiao Zhan ad Wang Yibo.
I've been hunting for many things to fill the void now that The Untamed events and promotions are all done, watching a lot of YiZhan content as a result.
Then a thought came to me after seeing Legend of Fei trailers, where Wang Yibo plays Xie Yun... that the character Xie Yun and Xiao Zhan's Wei Wuxian from The Untamed would seriously get on like a house on fire!
Though that means a very bloodthirsty and jealous Lan Wangji as his love is getting courted by the charming man (even though both are basically Wang Yibo)!
So to scratch this itch....I decided to draw the scene. Not bad right?

"You may be wondering how I ended up in this predicament..."
After some time thinking about the storyline, I've finally got the inspiration I need to continue.
Therefore I'd like to reveal the very first panel of the comic. All that's missing is the text box.
Hopefully this sets the tone for my hand drawn comic and you'll stay tuned for what's to come!

I figure this could be a great place to share the progress and (eventually) final pieces of my comic. I'm not an artist and have never done this before so the progress will be long and slow (in between everything else I do in life) so if you stick around, I hope I won't disappoint you. I'm not sure how to describe this comic I'm working on without giving away too much so for now, please enjoy this rough sketch of the protagonist doing what he loves best: gaming.
