Epic the Musical: Ithaca Saga Livestream spoilers ahead!
The deliberate choice of giving odysseus permanent red eyes in the animatic portions to symbolize him being a changed man from the losses and suffering he received from his travels AND IT DIDNT REVERT BACK WHEN HE KNOWS HES FINALLY HOME
I half expected it to change back to brown when Penelope sings "For You...". But no! It stays red till the end! Something something, the pain and trauma Ody has been through permanently leaving a mark on him that can't be easily fixed, perchance.
(Also TELEMACHUS WEARING ATHENA THEMED ARMOR HELLO!? I would love to see his side of the story in the Epic universe since his 'diplomatic mission' is a good chunk of the og Odyssey)

Had this idea in my head ever since I saw that goofy picture of him of how normal people would see him. I thought even if they couldn't see his other form they would at least notice a tone difference in personality/mood. Also I just think it's funny imagining this nerdy ass looking dude suddenly have a death glare if you piss him off.^^
