HELLO MY FRIENDS!!

i’m extremely happy to announce that my webcomic yakuza: through fire is back on the menu. this comic has always been super important to me, and i always knew i would continue/finish it at some point— long story short, a shitty job was draining my soul outta my ass and my digital drawing setup passed away beyond salvage. i have since gotten a new job and a new drawing tablet. now i’m working on relearning how to draw kashiwagi :,-) and loving every minute of it.

i don’t know what my new upload schedule will be, but know that more is coming Very Soon. idk if anyone is still paying attention to this blog but i guess my overall point is i’m HAPPY TO BE BACK!

I just binge read this entire thing a few weeks ago and came back to it because i adore it so much as someone who loves Kashiwagi and Kazama its nice to see someones idea for a prequel and your idea is very interesting so far i look forward to seeing more in the future (That is if you're still working on this project, if not i toally understand some of them can be very time consuming and stressful at times) Hope you are doing well nonetheless <3

I'm so glad you like it!!! and thank you for the well wishes. I work a full time manual labor job (and didn't when i started this comic) so I don't end up working on it for much time lately. but the truth is. I'm literally thinking about it every day. I 100% am going to finish it, that hasn't changed. I just don't have a time frame anymore lol. originally, I figured I'd like to finish the whole project in under 2 years, which I still think would've been feasible at the rate i was going. technically it could still be done in that time, but it's highly unlikely now... that said, next page is almost publishable! :-) thanks for stickin around!

YEAH...! i thought it would be rlly fun to have him be pre-yakuza in this prequel specifically because i liked the idea of him seeing glimmers of what his life would become... also just as a nod to the fact that you rarely actually play as an active yakuza member in the games lol
