I think Bobby Drake/Iceman from X-Men has Asperger's. His older self has kind of grown out of it, but young!Bobby definitely shows a ton more signs. He can't really follow what people are saying a lot of the time. The ladies' man persona is something he picked up from watching a lot of TV. He stims by making snowflakes one at a time, watching them form on his fingertips.

Not exactly sure about this since I haven't seen the whole anime or playthrough of the game, but I can totally see Chihaya Kisaragi from iDOLM@STER being either autistic or aspie! Then again, a lot of this is based off the little I've seen and her im@swiki page...

Ratohnhake:ton (Connor Kenway; I tried to use his native name because I think he prefers it, but I'm gonna stick to 'Connor' from here on out for ease of spelling) from Assassin's Creed 3!! He's very socially awkward; other assassins in the series tended to form very close alliances, whereas Connor works alone for the most part and the few times he does team up with someone he's clearly uncomfortable with it. He also doesn't like being touched, seems confused by social rules and etiquette (another character asks to shake his hand and he looks at them like "what's that for I don't get it"), and often seems to misunderstand the nuances of other people's relationships and feelings (Norris tells Connor, not outright but in a fairly clear manner (to the person writing this headcanon), that he's in love with Myriam. Connor replies something to the affect of "I like her too, she's really nice") and he's also very naiive (brought up by people around him, too!). He's better with animals than people, too. And usually comes off as very blunt when talking to people?? And he's pretty naiive, as well, especially when it comes to other people's intentions. He's very trusting, in a way that suggests he doesn't really 'get' the concept of people not being totally loyal.

Pardon me friend but could I ask you what "stimming" means?
Ah, no problem!
Stimming, or self-stimulation, is considered a ‘repetitive behavior’. It is most commonly associated with autism, but it also sometimes comes with ADHD, dyspraxia, and other developmental disabilities! They are also associated with mental illness, which is part of the reason why stimming is considered ‘bad’ by neurotypical/allistic people and even many neurodiverse people. (Which isn’t to say that it should be stigmatized, because it shouldn’t and it’s horrible that it is. It’s just that allistic/neurotypical people are kinda really ableist- even disabled people can be pretty ableist really - and they therefore see anything considered different as something that is wrong.)
Another reason why stimming is looked down upon by neurotypicals is that it’s a form of body language that they can not read and therefore it unnerves them. It’s kinda silly, actually- you don’t see neurodiverse people who can’t read neurotypical body language looking down upon neurotypicals for having body language different than their own, so why do the opposite?
Among these ‘repetitive behaviors’ include staring at patterns, rocking back and forth, chewing on things, hand-flapping, finger-flicking, pacing, etc. These are only examples, however! There are many different ways to stim!
As you may have already guessed, neurotypicals also stim- nail biting, leg-bouncing, etc. However, I find that neurotypical people often find these things less necessary as a way of coping with outside stimuli as opposed to neurodiverse people.
Sorry for the ramble, neurodiversity has actually been a special interest of mine for a few years so I’m a bit of an encyclopedia with this stuff. :o Also sorry for all of the science-y words!!!!!! I tend to do that sometimes aha!
If I said anything incorrect, please do tell me! I tried to make this as comprehensive as possible!

Yo! Star (wixch) here.
I just wanted to let you all know that I may be on sporadically for a little while- I am in my senior year of high school and currently my internet access is limited due to some family stuff!
I'll try to publish asks and the like when I have access, but as my fellow admin ladyofrainbows is also currently somewhat busy, please be patient!
With love,

Julian Bashir from Star Trek DS9! We know his parents forced him to undergo genetic engineering as a child because of a mental disability, and a lot of what Julian says about this is identical to current autistic arguments against a cure (i.e. "you killed Jules", etc). I also headcanon that the genetic engineering didn't actually make him allistic, just much more NT-passing.

Sorry but I wouldn't think PNF is gaslighting Linda is not trying to make her daughter to think she is insane and I don't even think she ever told Cadence that she is insane?(The closest thing I can think of is in the pilot episode when she said to Cadence that "sometimes I worry about you Cadence")
I’m only spouting things I’ve heard, as I already stated! I haven’t seen much of P&F so. You may know more than I do!

Wait, she's my character. IT'S NOT JUST A HEADCANON. *eagerly does more research to make sure I'm being accurate+not offensive* I just wanted to share that with you OuO
It’s very good to hear that! I can’t wait to read that :). Thank youu for sharing, I am soooooo exciteeed :)

(PS from mod: Well, it's like, projecting it as though as the robot is human? Well, you get it. -ladyofrainbows)

I wonder how Kenzo Tenma stims. In every other way he’s just so very autistic, but he doesn’t stim even when he’s alone and stressed out, so I tend to disregard canon and assume that he actually is stimming, but I wonder how. Does he rub his hands, does he flap, does he jump up and down or maybe stim vocally? The world will never know.

Do you know if there's a non-fandom specific tag for autistic (or even just non-NT) headcanons? Thanks!
Yes there is! There are a few, actually:
#headcanon autistic
#autistic headcanons
#autistic headcanon
I am not sure if there is one for non-NT headcanons, however!

Rose and I would like to propose a Tumblr-wide tag for Autistic headcanons, if you want!
'autistic headcanon' is already a tag in use, actually! though, this blog uses 'headcanon autistic' and 'headcanon neurodivergent.
Anyone have any opinions, suggestions?

I headcanon Alanna and most of her family as autistic. That's a thing that happened. And then I wrote a whole post about it. Why not?
I also read Tris, one of the protagonists from Tamora Pierce's other universe, as autistic. Tamora Pierce: ALL THE AUTISM.
Oh, wow! I haven't read the Tamora Pierce novels but this is fantastic!
