Shindo has a lot of respect for older/historical figures.

Proof:

Quotes a lot of famous proverbs and sayings and bases his strategy off of them.

When going to rescue survivors, he believes embodying his teacher, Miss Joke, will get them to evacuate.

This is kinda iffy but when the announcer says 8 spots were filled, Ms. Joke mentions her students, but says Shindo’s name specifically. (She also complains when Gang Orca paralyzes Shindo which is cute of her lol)

Who knew he’d be a history buff? I’d imagine he turns to history to understand what to do in the present. People long ago went through what he goes through and they were able to overcome obstacles and succeed. This could also be a reason why he believes that fortitude is something every hero should have. IDK tho

A lot of people call Yo Shindo a jerk, but he’s not a bad guy it’s just that he’s willing to do anything to get the job done. Of course, he realizes that not a lot of people think the same, which is why he calls being sneaky “tactful”. He knows his way of doing things might make people upset, so he turns up the charm to not upset them.

Writing this makes me wonder. Either he has always known people won’t take kindly to his ideas or he’s been in situations where people have criticized his way of thinking.

#2. Weakness

(ty for the likes on the last post! pls lmk what u guys think and share any thoughts u have !!)

Going back to the self-awareness I talked about in the last post, I think Shindo is aware of his weaknesses and tries to make up for them any way he can. My best piece of evidence for this is the fact that he keeps a knife on him and his friends are close combat + support (he’s a long-ranged fighter).

I honestly wish he wasn’t a side character smfh if he had the same stats as the top 3(deku, bakugo, todoroki) he’d be cracked omfg 😔

If it wasn't apparent from my first and last post, I am veryyyy down bad for our Yo Shindo. I really want to post a character analysis of him and I have a little doc I've made that has some stuff about him but it's veryyyy messy and all over the place and I'm kinda too lazy to reorganize it. So, I'm gonna try to drop a post including a fact or two about him from my research ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶
