Playing games develops our brains even though we are not aware of it. It is one of the most effective ways of jeeping our mind active, depending on the game we play. It’s #MakeItHappenMONDAY !! I play the alto saxophone and I am part of the DLSU-IS Orchestra. Today, I decided to learn one of the songs that’s part of our repertoire which is entitled “Beyond The Sea”. 
This song is very special to me because it is a song from a Disney movie that I really love which is “Finding Nemo”. Also, this song was played in a school event by my senior from my previous school and they did a really good job in playing this piece. I told myself that one day I will play that piece too, and here I am playing it for DLSU, my dream school. I find joy whenever I play my instrument, there are times where I play my saxophone to release the stress in my body through the music I play. I would often tell everyone that “there is this brief moment whenever I play, I feel like I’m the happiest I’ve ever been”. 
Sadly, I’ve been lacking the passion to continue lately, probably due to my lack of motivation due to my depreciating mental health. It often happens to musicians, or artists even. But always be certain that one day, that fire and passion will come back to life and you will remember why you started being an artist in the first place.

It’s #SentiSUNDAY !! The picture above is the birthday party celebration of my best friend. Her name is Catheline, and she is the one beside me, wearing yellow. I remember, we had so much fun that night that we slept at four in the morning. We made the most of our time together and spent the whole night just chatting and catching up on our lives.
We have been friends for 12 years already and going strong! This party was held last November 17, 2019. The people seen in the picture are my junior high school barkada, sadly we aren’t complete in the picture. I really miss being with my friends physically. I can’t wait till the day I can meet them without having the fear of getting the virus. 
Your friends will be your support system whenever you fell like you’re drained. Lucky for me, I have a set of  friends that truly care for one another.

It’s #SineSATURDAY !! My friends and I had a Zoom meeting and decided to watch a series on Netflix entitled “Midnight Gospel”. This was a great way to unwind from all the stressful things life gives us. Never be ashamed of taking a break from all the work you need to do. The body needs to rest and it needs happy hormones! Watching a movie and watching it with your friends is fun with an extra order of FUN 🤩
Being with friends and watching a film is a very effective way to relax the mind. After a while, we got bored of watching the film and they decided to watch me play a video game called “Animal Crossing”.

#LetsGetPhysicalFriday!
Today, I rode around our neighborhood for fresh air. Before the quarantine started, whenever I had time, I would bike around our city and sometimes visit my former schoolmates. I really enjoy biking because I get to exercise but also I can see different places and go everywhere.
Recently, I have also been fond of this Anime Series entitled, “Yowamushi Pedal”. It brought me back to when I could bike all the time and even compete with my friends. If you can also bike today, please do so! It is a fun experience and it even feels like your flying sometimes when you’re on your bike. I totally recommend doing it.
Overall, my advice is to take care of your physical health, as it may also help your mental health at the same time.

It's time to declutter your drawers! 🗃🗑
Today, I received my new drawer, just in time for today's activity😉 Decluttering or cleaning my room helps me to feel that my life is on track. Since this is where I spend most of my time, I have to make sure that I keep things organized so that I don't get lost in my responsibilities, especially in school.
Some of us have a lot of cluttered belongings inside our room, because sometimes we just forget the importance of organizing them. It seems like we treat our room as a storage room and we tend to forget, until we actually look at it and realise, "wow. i have so many things everywhere.". I am guilty of this as well, but don't you worry! It is never too late to start organizing. You can formulate a weekly schedule to check your room's organization.

Welcome to #TakawTuesday! Today your task is to give yourself a break from being restrained from that diet. Control is good but hey, you can spare one day right?
Today I decided to have a little mukbang session but unfortunately, due to tumblr restraints, we can only have this quick timelapse. I vented about what was going on in my life at the time. In this case, it was our pracres defense (which explains the overdressed attire) and the upcoming finals week. To be honest it was quite therapeutic to talk openly about what was going on and i’d recommend for everyone to try it.

Welcome to SentiSunday! It's time to end the week with joy and peace.
Join us, as we check up on our Highschool friends. In this video, you will see my friends (barkada) and I checking up on our class schedules. It is a relieving moment when we can rekate to what others are experiencing. It makes us feel as though we are not alone in our battles.
For me, sharing laughter with your friends from when you are growing up is incomparable. The memories and secrets you share are too many for you to not know these people by heart. Though sometimes, people drastically changes or simply, you grow apart from each other. Having even a single friend that you are able to still hang with every once in a while, is already a good experience. Our low maintenance friendships are sometimes the best ones.

Enter the weekend with #SineSaturday! Our task for today is to watch a film you’ve never watched before. Get your mind off work and all those stressors with a fresh perspective.
Today I watched the film “Enola Holmes” and I would upload a timelapse but I have a (very sad) lack of space on my phone. Nonetheless the movie was very enjoyable. A film about female empowerment and politics that has the right amount of charm, suspense, and wit to keep you watching. Finishing the movie was very energizing and it widened my perspective on some very important topics like gender politics.
It may be tempting to rewatch the same comfort shows but trying something new can also be just as entertaining (if not more). Take a venture off the beaten path and go in with open eyes and an open mind, to refresh your tired braincelss

Let’s get mooovin’ ‘cause it’s #LetsGetPhysicalFRIDAY !! Today I decided to do yoga so that my muscles will get stretched. Physical activities are very helpful in relieving stress and taking care of your mental health. Putting your mind into other things wil definitely help in calming down the mind. It would be great if we listen to some calming tunes whilst doing yoga too help in creating a calm atmosphere.
I haven’t had the time to take care of my physical and mental health due to the amount of requirements we are receiving in online classes. Doing yoga was a really effective way to relax, unwind, and take of my physical and mental health at the same time. Last school year, I also used yoga to help me unwind from the stressful student life.

It’s #TidyTHURSDAY !! This activity was surprisingly very stress relieving! Seeing all the dirt and grime go away while mopping the floor is very satisfying! I don’t get to do this often due to my busy schedule but now I would like to dedicate some time into doing it because it’s really nice, and it was a great experience. 
Cleaning the house and spending time without the use of gadgets is very beneficial for your mental health. It helps clear the mind of any stress and worries. Cleaning the house is also like cleaning your mind but in a good way. Having organized surroundings is essential in maintaining a healthy mental state. I religiously practice this because it really does help in relaxing my mind

Welcome to #WindDownWednesday. Today, your job is to r e l a x and give yourself a lazy day. Make you bed a safe place and allow yourself to melt away in the sheets.
We forget that rest is essential to keeping up the pace of working so having this day to regain your strength will surely help refocus your mind on the daily grind. I spend pretty much all day in my bed binge watching and even getting work done here and there. Laying in bed allowed me to feel at home and at peace and let me get through my day much more calmly.

Today we feast!!
It’s #TastyTUESDAY !! The task was to order your favorite fast food and here it is, a cheese pizza! After a very tiring day in school, I thought ordering for delivery would be a great way to reward myself for all the hard work I’ve done for the day. In all honesty, I deserved this anyway! I do nothing but sit in front of a computer doing school work and it was very draining to the point that I had no energy to interact with other people in the house. So here I am, ready to devour my favorite fast food, pizza. No, I did not eat all of this alone, I shared it with the rest of my family.
This specific type of pizza brings back so many memories with my family I had as a kid. We would often get pizza on a friday night and spend time sharing stories from our experiences during the week, or even anything under the sun. It was a great way to bond with my family.

Start your week with #MakeItHappenMONDAY !!
Revisiting an old hobby truly brings joy. Though we are not committed to it as much as before, it’s fun to try it out again and see if you still have some skill. You might find your self rusty, but that’s alright! Perfection is not what we’re looking for, it’s the re-connection to oneself that makes it worthwhile.
Today, I tried to play the guitar again and sang Heaven by Bryan Adams. You can hear that my play is rusty and the sound of the guitar is all over the place. I learned playing the guitar back in Summer 2014. I wasn’t able to advance my skill to learn next level finger picking, only learned a song or two’s intro. Nonetheless, I enjoy strumming and being able to know (at least) the basic chords.
Don’t be scared to learn new things, even just until the basics of it. It can still be useful to learn the basics of a lot of things while honing your skill specialty✨

As we head into the end of the week we reach #SentiSunday.
With the current situation that is quarantine showing no signs of ending any time soon, we are more and more deprived of the meaningful interaction thatw e have with the people we care about. Distance creates longing and it can be damaging and draining to go without being around people you love. Luckily though, there exists more and more ways to reach people miles away from you. So today, call the people you miss the most.
Today, I rang my friends from junior high school. Because of my move to manila for senior high school, I had very little time to actually hang out with my friends back home and when the pandemic hit, it was pretty much impossible to see each other again. Upon seeing each other on our screens, we began catching up and chatting about life and our plans. Relief hit me and I felt much more at oeace than I was before.
Remember to take some time off to connect with people you love. It might just help you get back on track!

It's movie time, because it's #SineSaturday!!
Our activity for today is to watch a 10-year-old film. 10 years ago, an animated film was released entitled "Despicable Me". Do you remember what you were doing in that time of your life? Were you at school? Working? Or maybe, it wasn't a very good time. Nonetheless, watching a film from a decade ago helps us in realising how far we have come in life. The things that we did before might be completely different now, and of course, you, yourself, is a different person now.
Through the challenges, where we won and lost, that we experienced from a decade ago, it helped us to improve and grow as a person. As we watch this film from 10 years ago, let us appreciate life, ourselves, and the people that stuck with us throughout our journey.
