I don't mind if you finish the fic yourself but if you feed it into AI, I am disowning you as a fan and I will be as disappointed as your mother was when you came out the womb
Hi,
It’s your friendly neighbor fanfic author here. In the light of this apparent new trend of people feeding unfinished fics to AI to get an “ending,” and some people even talking about “blanket permissions,” let me just say this:
I EXPLICITLY FORBID ANYONE TO FEED MY FICS TO AI. DUDE, THAT IS ABOUT THE LEAST RESPECTFUL THING YOU CAN DO. IF YOU DO IT, SHALL YOU BE EXCOMMUNICATED FROM YOUR FANDOM AND WALK ON LEGOS BAREFOOT TILL THE END OF DAYS.
That is my anti-permission.
Thank you for your attention.

Surprise! Tumblr just got turned into an epic fantasy RPG, just like [your favorite appropriate media franchise]. And the Tumblr RPG's plot needs to have all of its characters covered, in roles both large and small.
That means that you are assigned to a stereotypical RPG role inside our new fantasy world. Spin this wheel to find out what you are now doing for a living.

"Tony." Gregory says breathlessly. Tony can feel Greg's hair brush against his cheek and his hands ball up his jacket. "Its you. That's your name..."

News Anchor: Last year, the hit rock band Neon Glitter announced they would be going on tour soon and 3 months ago they started it. Everyone has been awaiting their arrival at particular spots and they've officially arrived in Seattle. We already know from a prior interview Chica and Roxy's love of Starbucks Coffee, so they must be stoked about their arrival here, but what really has everyone's attention is the recent addition to their shows; a young boy with a triangle has interrupted their shows numerous times adding humor and whimsy to the otherwise serious performances. Many fans are curious if this was planned and-
Monty: He's even on the damn news! I'm sick of this brat! You two are here to keep him out! Got that?
Ness: Your security problem is a kid? Can't you just call his parents?
Mike: *elbows Ness* Yup, we got that! We can definitely handle a child. May I ask, how does he normally get in?
Ness: Yeah, that may help us do our job *glares at Mike for elbowing her*
Roxy: Through the window. That's why we moved up to the fifth floor, to make it harder on him
Freddy: If he does come up this way can we please call the local fire department. It's not safe for a child to be up this high
Monty: If it deters him, great, if it doesn't, good riddance!
Freddy: Monty, you can't seriously mean that! That's a child! Also, to properly answer your earlier question, we would call his parents, but we don't know who they are.
Mike: Fantastic. So are we to just guard the balcony or what?
Chica: Yeah, I'm not sure that'll work with how this suite is set up. There isn't a balcony. It's just windows with thick ledges. So, basically just patrol the room. Keep an eye on the door and the windows and you should be fine.
Ness: Sounds great
Mike: And If we catch him, are we supposed to throw him back down or?
Freddy: No!
Monty: Sure, I don't care
Bon: Look, just bring him inside safely and escort him to the lobby. That should be enough and maybe try to find who he belongs to. That could put a stop to this. As for at shows, can you just make sure he doesn't knock over equipment during his escape. Havin' him show up tends to be a highlight.
Ness: You don't want us to stop him? He interrupts your performances!
Mike: *whispering* It's less work for us. Don't question it
Ness: *whispering* But it causes more headaches for us in the future.
Roxy: He's completely fine at the shows, he only comes in on one random song and then dips. It's not like he's messing with the whole performance.
Ness: Okaaaay...
Mike: Don't worry, we can handle this.
*later*
Ness: None of this makes any sense
Mike: Making sense wasn't in the job description
Ness: Look, I don't care that we're doing a nutty security job. It's the kid specifically that doesn't make sense.
Mike: How do you mean?
Ness: I looked into this kid and he's shown up at every single place they've been on tour. His birth parents live in Utah which wasn't even on the list of places they've stopped and he's too young to have a vehicle and he should be in school.
Mike: How'd you find out any of this. He's always wearing a hood when he crashes shows and none of them know his full name, they only know Gregory because of his bag.
Ness: Look, they have records of ticket purchase. The only name at all of their shows is Gregory Grey, although that doesn't mean it's the only name he purchased a ticket under. One that showed up a few times is Jeremy Rogers which I can only assume is an older friend. In fact, those were the first few shows. Then, more recently, it's just been under GGY.
Mike: One moment, how do you know Jeremy Rogers is at all associated with this kid because I know the gu- I mean he doesn't seem like the type of guy to allow a random kid to use up all his money to cause problems at a popular band's concert.
Ness: I have a friend who worked with the guy and she told me how Jeremy did indeed have a kid named Gregory running around and sometimes he'd take him and his daughter, Cassie to work with him. They both equally got into trouble
Mike: Ahh. So more of an adopted kid. *Under breath* that makes more sense
Ness: Right, but that still doesn't explain how Gregory is everywhere the band is because my friend told me Jeremy is still in the hospital after that recent work accident. He's not driving a kid around to crash performances nor spending a ton of cash. His payments stopped around the time of his injury, which lines up fine, but Gregory is still moving around. Now, there's no guarantee he's even here cause we haven't seen anything yet.
Mike: Uh Ness?
Ness: And, another thing, how is just putting initials on the ticket purchase a thing? I get the band is pretty free-spirited but that's completely insane!
Mike: er Ness th-
Ness: Then there's the fact a kid shouldn't be able to climb a building four or more stories up! How does he even slip past their basic security? This feels like a setup.
Mike: Okay, cool, awesome. Ness! Please listen to me! There's a problem.
Ness: What?
Mike: There is a small child leaning her head out the window next door and there is a second small child beside her. And I recognize the girl so I'm fairly certain the boy is who we are supposed to be securing!
Ness: What?
*Ness leans her head out the window*
Cassie: Oops! Sorry, we're not here to bother you tonight. We, well I, just heard a familiar voice and got curious. Hi, Uncle Mike. Umm, we'll be out of your hair now. Goodnight!
*Cassie closes the window and pulls the curtains as both children retreat*
Ness: Mike, what the hell?
Mike: Uuuuhhhh, you're gonna have to be more specific than that...
Ness: You knew this entire time who they were?
Mike: No? I mean, I only suspected because of who you guessed was a part of this, but I only truly knew just now- please don't hit me!
Ness: Can this get any messier? How are they even staying next door? They don't have the money for this. How did they know which room to go to?
Mike: We could always just go next door and ask. Cassie is an honest girl, a lot like her Fa- ahem, like her Dad.
Ness: You know what, fine

Monty: I swear, if that kid shows up again, I'm throwing him out the window!
Roxy: Dude, he's like 8. You can't do that, that's child abuse
Monty: It's justified! That brat keeps breaking in! And stealing our food! Including my protein shakes and your fancy pudding!
Roxy: He needs to die
Bon: Freddy! They're gettin' homicidal! Oop- kid you really shouldn't be here right now
Gregory: Just one thing- First, I'm not 8, I'm 12. Second, I didn't touch eat your pudding, I took it for my sister. Third, I could get you arrested for your threats because I have them on recording
Monty: What, how? When did you get one of those?
Gregory: Fourth and final, I have a cool new shirt
*shirt reads "Your security is terrible and I'm tiny."*
Monty: You brat!
*Gregory waves and snatches up two of Monty's protein shakes before hopping out the window*
Monty: We need to update our security!
Bon: Don'tcha think he adds a lil' bit of color here though?
Roxy: To Hell with that, I don't care if he's taking them for someone else, no one can have my fancy pudding!
Bon: Where on Earth did y'all get your anger issues from? And how did he do that again? We're on the fourth floor
*Freddy and Chica just getting back from the store with food standing in the doorway*
Chica: Should we ask?
Freddy: I think we can tell it was that child again. Hopefully, food will chill them out a bit

Japanese Braille (and why it’s easier than written Japanese)
Okay, so I thought I’d write a post about a topic that’s really close to my heart, being a Legally Blind person: Japanese Braille.
There are 1.64 million people in Japan with an Uncorrectable Vision Impairments, 187,000 of which are listed as Blind.
Japanese Braille sounds really difficult, but in reality it’s not actually that hard! Especially once you get a few hundred Kanji in, learning Japanese Braille is honestly super simple.
First of all, a note: Japanese Braille (99% of the time, at least) is completely phonetic; there’s no differentiation between Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji like there is in Written Japanese.
Additionally, it follows really basic patterns; with the exception of a few Punctuation-type characters, you basically only have to learn 21 basic pieces, as everything else follows basic patterns beyond that.
First off, the vowels:
Tumblr media
All other Syllables use these same Vowels, in the same places
Following this, there comes all of the Consonants
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note that the vowels are in the exact same spot as in the AIUEO characters, just with an added mark for the Consonant.
Here is probably a good place to point out: Dakuten is marked by a single dot on the middle of the right side of the cell, placed BEFORE the character that gets changed by the Dakuten (Handakuten is the same, except the dot was lowered to the bottom right of the cell)
Tumblr media
You’ll note that this brings us up to 14 characters…. where are all the rest?
If you’re observant, you’ll note that Ya, Yu, Yo, and Wa and (W)o are missing from the chart here. That’s because these 5 characters break the rules, just a little bit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Note that the Wi & We characters are only there for Ancient Japanese; don’t worry if you never learned them before, they’re gone from Japanese now)
Note that the -y- character there is placed BEFORE another consonant to make it a _y_ version of it (i.e. put it before Ka to make Kya), and that the -w- character is used to make all the irregular Little Characters (i.e. put it before Ha and you’ll get Fa).
There’s 2  more characters to learn, and they’re pretty easy.
They’re made for doubling consonants, and doubling vowels respectively
Tumblr media
For example, putting a Sokuon before Ka makes Kka, and a Chouon AFTER A makes Aa
Anyways, that covers all the fundamentals of Japanese Braille, hopefully enabling even more people to make Blind Literacy possible, in an entire other language!

🚨 A Voice from Gaza: Please Hear Us 🚨
My name is Abdelmajed Elderawi, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has become an unimaginable struggle. Our days are filled with uncertainty, and the hope for a better future feels like a distant dream.
The war has left deep scars on my family and me. We’ve endured the heartbreaking loss of 25 loved ones—each one a light extinguished too soon. Their absence is a pain I carry every day, and I often find myself lost in memories of the laughter and joy they brought into our lives.
Life in Gaza Today: 💔 Overwhelming Loss: The pain of losing so many family members is impossible to describe. 🍽️ Barely Getting By: Even basic necessities like food and water are becoming harder to afford. 🏠 No Safe Shelter: Our homes, once our refuge, now feel fragile and unsafe. 📚 Dreams on Hold: The pursuit of education and opportunities has been replaced by the constant fight for survival.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What We Need: In these desperate times, even a small gesture can mean so much. A $5 donation could provide us with food or water for a day. If you can’t donate, simply sharing our story could help us reach someone who can.
Your Support Gives Us Hope: This isn’t just about financial help—it’s about knowing that someone, somewhere, cares. Your kindness can be a source of strength for us, a reminder that we’re not alone in this fight.
How You Can Help: 🙏 Donate if you can. 🙏 Share this post to spread the word. 🙏 Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
I’m not asking for much—just a little hope, a little relief, and a chance to keep moving forward. Your generosity, in any form, can make a difference in ways you might not even imagine.
Thank you for taking the time to hear my story. Your kindness means more than words can express.
With heartfelt gratitude, Abdelmajed ❤️
