so a modern royals au where jungkook is the crown prince of korea except he’s kind of a disaster who can’t keep himself out of trouble and seokjin is the tutor the queen hires to try and control her son and honestly seokjin starts out only doing this for the money but he can’t help but feel a little sympathy for this royal brat who just wants some room to breathe and jungkook can’t help but respect his gentle new tutor who still stands up for him even when he has no real reason to and no one’s ever had this much faith in jungkook in his entire life and yeah jungkook knows he’ll do pretty much anything so as to not disappoint seokjin (which may actually be the cutest thing seokjin’s ever seen)

this particular..configuration is so interesting to me because it’s like this is a side of them that makes complete sense, is evident in their everyday personalities, but is only expressed and takes form in this way when they’re with each other? like in this config jimins allowing yoongi to let his guard down, like once in a while he’s allowed to fall and someone else will pick him up, he’s safe, he can let go for a second 

n for jimin I think he can put down his bubbly sunshine thing for a sec u know– not that it’s fake but he often wants or feels like he should keep the positive energy about for everyone else– I think him as a top would simply be another expression of his want to care for others; but it’s specific, and private and it’s for yoongi 

on the other hand I think the reverse and a top yoongi situation can, will and often happens as well 

I’m a big believer in like equal footing n like completing each other ((((god I’m literally the sappiest I’m so sorry)))) so the versatility of the yoonmin dynamic rly….gets my soul.. 

YOONMIN is….true companionship and understanding of the soul and heart and all the human weaknesses, sensitivities and vulnerabilities and because of that they make each other stronger
