“The list” (a story I am working on)
Driving home doing 90mph in a 30mph zone can be scary, right? You’d be afraid of getting a really bad speeding ticket, or maybe even getting into a pretty bad car accident, right? You’d be able to feel the adrenaline rushing through your entire body-starting from your shaking hands and making its way towards your feet. You’d be almost scared of what would happen, right? Well, that isn’t the case for me. Yes, those thoughts are popping through my head, and yes, I can feel my entire body shaking with fear. But what is the fear about? Even I can’t answer that completely. Is the fear coming from what other people are doing to me? Or is it coming from how afraid I am of myself?
