So the other night during D&D, I had the sudden thoughts that:

1) Binary files are 1s and 0s

2) Knitting has knit stitches and purl stitches

You could represent binary data in knitting, as a pattern of knits and purls…

You can knit Doom.

However, after crunching some more numbers:

The compressed Doom installer binary is 2.93 MB. Assuming you are using sock weight yarn, with 7 stitches per inch, results in knitted doom being…

Way back on the 3rd October I pledged to complete at least two of the following for the #autumnwal17: 1 - #calebthemonster only needed some toenails but i needed to find some yarn first. 2 - The #spiceoflife jumper was the newest cast on of the lot. 3 - My #nurmilintushawl was cast on at Christmas and I had 1.5 sections to go. 4 - I had 2 more squares to complete for my #pinwheelscrapblanket. Now the cal has ended and I have finished three of these projects, with the fourth very near completion! I also managed to make flowers for one out of 5 of our wedding bouquets (no pics as they're a suprise).
