blargh. spiritship is so divorced. and i love that about them. in my postcanon world they have the energy of people who love each other very deeply, have never officially gotten married but have spiritally been married, and been spiritually divorced as a result of different paths and the circumstances of their lives. And maybe one day they could start again. they could cross that road. but there will always be a numbing hurt, in one way or another. They've hurt each other, despite it being unintentional. and they adore each other. But sometimes that isn't enough. Sometimes the universe hates you both.

they forgive each other, for that hurt, obviously. Theyre too loyal to keep grudges to each other. But they still have an ache in their bones at the knowledge that it's a… safer idea to just continue as they are. There's barriers that can't be crossed without the world falling into disarray. So they just quietly stare at each other in a lonely diner at 3 am, and talk about how the pancake syrup is too sweet.

I don't really care for the whole "what if someone steals your character" thing, but I just don't think people are interested in that when I just post fandom things usually, so for now, I won't post anything.
