Black Clover x Pokemon - Gym Leader Yami Sukehiro

I was debating whether to do Gym Leader Yami next since Dante hasn’t appeared in the anime yet, and I hate having to tag fanart as a spoiler, but who knows when Dante is going to appear, and it was high time I draw Yami for this crossover. And so, here’s Gym Leader Yami, the gym leader who’s never there when you want to battle him!

Not much logic into giving Yami a Darkrai. I just think Darkrai’s design is really cool, so I wanted to draw it ^^;  But it is a dark type (like Yami), and being a legendary Pokemon, it’s hella strong (like Yami).

Obviously, the Black Bulls would have Tauros as a mascot since it’s the only bull Pokemon, so I tried making the Black Bulls logo more Tauros-y. 

About how squads would still exist in a Black Clover x Pokemon AU – In Pokemon Sword & Shield, you need a sponsorship to participate in the gym challenge. In the Clover Region, those sponsorships come from the Gym Leaders. Trainers prove themselves to a gym leader, join their squad, learn from that Gym Leader, train with their squadmates, and then challenge other gyms to earn badges and raise their squad’s reputation. They can also travel to other regions (e.g. the Spade Region) and strengthen their squad’s reputation by clearing gym challenges in those foreign regions.
