The "why do they need their own word?" Debate is just repackaged "ace/bi people are just spicy het" & "nonbinary people are just cis but a little to the left" & etc. etc. etc. like my brother in Christ we are a Queer Community our whole Thing is making up words and going "yeah that feels good. That feels like me" THATS IT.
If you don't like someone's words Who Cares lmfao just talk to someone else and quit being a fucking Weirdo 😂

To any trans man who needs to hear this: When they say they “hate all men” or want to “kill all men,” you don’t have to just accept that. It’s okay to feel hurt, it’s okay to feel unsafe. It’s okay to recognize that they are either othering your manhood or demonizing you for it, and to call them out for it if you’re in a position to. If they have trauma around men, they can work on that in private instead of expressing harmful sentiments around their marginalized male friends. You deserve love and safety. I love you and I hope I can help you feel safe.

Friendly reminder that polyamory is NOT the same as cheating on your partner.
Polyamory involves consent and knowledge amongst everyone involved, while cheating does not.
And yes, it is possible for acespec and arospec people to be in a polyamorous relationship (albeit it might be in a different way than sexual or romantic).

TERFs and radfems have collaborated with Christo-fascist organizations in the US in order to get transphobic laws passed btw
the same christo-fascist organizations who got Roe V. Wade overturned
please just say your entire belief system is based on hating trans people. It’d be way less embarrassing if you did.
I thought you said you hated men. Why would you rather talk to panels of cisgender fascist men than a single transgender woman??

My womanhood is not threatened by a trans woman claiming hers ♥

Honestly, that's what I was thinking. It does seem to be pretty exclusionary when it's predominantly focused on cis white women. Second wave feminism also seems pretty reductionist from what I have seen.
And TERFs...holy don't even get me started there. That movement has done so much damage to the general women's rights movement that it ain't funny (transphobia, racism, etc).
-From a cis white woman
Am I the only one who feminism is kinda idk like exclusionary?
i feel like by focusing solely women's rights (cis white women in particular) it kinda leaves behind those who also suffer under patriarchy (i.e. gnc transwomen, enby people, men, poc people etc.)
I say this because at least in the West, cis white women have been at the forefront of the movement since it's start back in the the 1910s with the suffragettes fighting for the right for women to vote Specifically WHITE CIS women, women of color were not included.
And don't even get me started on terfs
I feel like we need a new more inclusive movement that includes everyone who's suffered under patriarchy not JUST Women.

Any other acespec or arospec person prefer going to somewhere like a community center, retro arcade, or park instead of a club?
IDK about you all, but I would much rather go to a place with cool video games and activities to do than go to a super sexualized environment.

If you were an a-spec exclusionist (or even "neutral") in the 2010s on Tumblr, if you remember laughing at "cringe aces," and have since come around to realize "hey that was kinda shitty, obviously aces and aros are queer," then you've obviously taken a huge step forward. But if you haven't actually evaluated what subtler forms of aphobia look like and unlearned those too, then you absolutely need to do that, or else internalized biases will persist in this community that make a-specs feel unsafe.
The most rampant and insidious type of aphobia on Tumblr in the past few years hasn't been about explicitly saying you hate/want to exclude asexuals. People who don't consider themselves "exclusionists" regularly pass it around. The degree to which a-spec terminology and microlabels still get mocked, and used as punchlines, also cannot be overstated.
Below, I've linked a variety of posts about what aphobia looks like, what commonly misunderstood/mocked a-spec terminology really means, and how a-spec people differ from common stereotypes and misconceptions. I don't expect everyone to read every one of these posts. There are some long ones. But I know Tumblr would be a significantly less hostile experience for a-spec people if everyone unlearning aphobia looked at, and reflected critically, about at least a few.

[ID: A three panel "pills that make you green" comic, with a light green stick figure talking to a darker green stick figure. Each panel shows the stick figures in roughly the same positions, redrawn each time. Light green: We have created a new word to describe the issues our part of the community specifically face!"
Darker green: Cool we are also going to do that Light green: What you can't do that
Darker green: Why not? Light green: Because you're oppressed in different ways then us and it implies that this other group of people is oppressed. Its super light-green phobic to use that term.
Darker green: Where did I say that completely other group is oppressed. What the fuck. End ID.]
my feelings on the whole "Transandrophobia" debate. I felt I could only communicate my thoughts in the form of allegorical dialog, so here we are.
It is not misogynist(Trans or otherwise) to use the term transandrophobia. It is a term used to speak about the specific challenges TRANS MEN face. That's it. You're reading in an implication that does not exist if you say it means cis men are oppressed. And if you disagree, I have a hard time believing you actually care about trans men.

Terf/Conservative-lite bingo
Bingo or signs that someone might be terf/conservative leanings (even if they claimed to hate terf or conservative) if they match a LOT or ALL points below
Hates pansexual people
hates xenogender
kink critical, spending too much goddamn time ranting about people's sexual preference and what consenting adults do, overall being sex negative
hates asexual/aromantic people
Puritan about fanfic/fan art and shipping also they are anti-ao3, spending a lot of time policing fandom
Trying to instigate a fight between bisexual people against pansexual people
Doesn't want the term 'queer' to be reclaimed or used in any way
Dismissing the plight/suffering that trans men endured
Instigating a fight between trans women and trans men
Obsessed with media purity
Exclusionist and trying to divide LGBTQIA+ community
Overusing the term 'biological woman' too much to uplift themselves and to demean trans women, just another way to say "i'm the real woman and you will never be a woman" to trans women
Ranting about how women enjoying yaoi/mlm are homophobic and evil or fetishizing gay men (this mentality is common amongst sexist queer men, terf-men and terf woman) not caring with the fact that media consumption is not always reflect people real morality, also a lot of yaoi enjoyer/fujo are queer themselves
I often see blogs that match all of those specifics points above (from their dni/bio) and yeah they are not pleasant people, its like every goddamn time, its like a pattern

I personally can't separate my ace and aro identities.
For me, trying to separate them would be like trying to separate the neurons from the brain tissue. It would irreparably damage something and cause a whole lotta harm in both ways.
