“No.” mostly because she didn’t know where he went. That was unusual, and frankly she was beginning to question where the hell he went. Wolf had walked on over to the locker, pulling out his usual guns, in case they encountered any of the dead. Lexa had what she needed, in case the dead decided to pay a visit. Moving towards the door, not bothering to dwell on anything at the moment. She just wanted to go to the compound, do what they needed and then take off. “Lead the way.” she’d walk on after him, since he was the leader.

Hearing her reply he nodded his head as he approached her. “In that case, change of plans. We’ll go down and let you get acquainted with your new friends. You’ll be spending a lot of time with them so it’s only right that I introduce you, guys.” Smile on his face as she slipped past her, expecting her to follow he headed down the hall that separated his office from the main room. Stepping into the main room of the former police station turned patrol headquarters, he gave a nod to the ones that stood guard there before turning toward a door near the side that hid the staircases. Holding the door open behind him for her, he pointed down the stairs. “Cells are down below. We’ll go down and you can see what you’re working with.”

No surprise that he didn’t even remember why he asked her to come. She inhaled, relaxing herself. He was busy with everything else, and had enough on his plate. So she let it go. Walking forward “You were going to walk me through the compound. We need to discuss what needs to be done about the missing looters.” Placing her hand in her pockets, she observed that he looked like shit, probably felt like it, didn’t look like he had much sleep. Surely she was standing in hell and the devil himself was no more than a few feet from her. “Unless you want to do that at a different time, just say the word, I’ll leave.” if he had to attend to other things, then she’d work on something else.

He appreciated the lack of snark that came with her reply. Honestly he truly appreciated it cause if she had decided to be her usual self he would have been tempted to pull his gun free and shoot her in her giant mouth and well, he was at the point where he would have given in to said temptation. Pushing his chair back even further he lifted himself up. “No. We can go. I need a break anyway.” He explained, before turning his back on her to face the lockers that lined up the wall behind his desk. Pulling free first his kevlar vest, before also lifting up his shotgun he quickly armed himself before turning back toward her. Though their walk was supposed to be a peaceful one, he wasn’t about to take any chances. “Right. So have you and your brother gone down and see them yet?”

It had been a couple days since those that were responsible for cleaning out the hospital and stores were found. The town was in an uproar, and they managed to find those that were guilty for even assisting in this disaster. Lexa had done what was asked of her by Wolf. He had told her to meet him in the Compound. So that is where she was heading. What she rather wanted was time to herself, but that would have to be set for another time.

Lexa knew that being around Wolf would lead to angry outbursts, he was a good teacher, but he angered her to a certain point that she couldn’t control what she says, even if it was snippy. Running her hand through her blonde hair, she turned the corner, knocking on the door when she arrived. Lightly leaning against the frame.

“Alright, I’ here.”

Head lifting up from the stack of papers he had been asked to glance over by request of the Council, Wolf in no mood to deal with others was about to snap off some sharp remark when he noticed just who it was coming to talk to him. Eyes shifting from her to the clock that rested on the far side of his office, he mentally cursed under his breath before beckoning her in. “Right, I asked for you to come see me.” He remarked, as he pulled his chair back and relaxed further in the chair. “Remind me, why did I want you here?” He asked her, a sheepish chuckle leaving the man as a he lifted up his right hand to tousle his hair. To say his brain was shot would be an understatement at this point. Between handling the various problems the town was facing, he had his own personal drama to attend to. Releasing a sigh as his hand slid over his head to rest at the back of his neck, he tiredly rubbed at it as he awaited an answer.

Now would have been the opportune time to just punch this insufferable man in the fucking face. Lexa was the smarter of the two and decided to walk the fuck away. She didn’t need Wolf adding any more anger to any situation. “It will be done, so don’t get your panties in a twist.” he moved out of her way and then she turned around for a second. “And stay the fuck out of my room.” she warned him, he may have been in command, but she had the privilege to her own god damn privacy.

“Make sure it is.” He growled, repeating himself for what felt like the tenth time in just a matter of minutes. It wasn’t that he didn’t know he was being unreasonable cause he did. He knew he was being a dick and that the two siblings were doing their best but he needed it done. The town needed it done. He’d apologize when the looters were caught, for now, if he had to be a raging dick to get the results he needed then he’d be a raging dick. “Yeah, whatever. I don’t wanna be in your..” Cutting off his reply before he could finish cause he knew it would just make him come off even more childish, the SEAL followed behind her as she left the room. “Come by my office when you got something.”

“Not saying you’re wrong but hear me out. One can assume that most of the people here know I’m a bastard. They’re more or less aware that I’m giant dick that not is not only highly trained but has a team of highly trained men at my beck and call. Despite knowing that, they stole from us. I think we’re past the point of people just knowing of the consequences being enough. People knew about the death penalty and other such consequences and they still stole back before all this zombie shit happened. Having to actually watch someone die? It’d make ‘em think twice before doing something so foolish and selfish again.”

Hearing that all too damn familiar voice, disturbed her thoughts, and this wouldn’t be the first time. The one actual moment where she can just fucking sit, of course he had to come in when this shit occurs. Opening her eyes, her green hues held a glare. She was containing her anger, and she didn’t want to show that either, no matter how much he sparked what she had been keeping leveled. Getting off of her bed “You know well as I that I find what I’m looking for, if I want to take five goddamn minutes for myself, then I’ll take five goddamn minutes.” She walked towards him “But Lazy, is not in my fucking vocabulary.” she stared at him, and most probably wouldn’t have the balls to make eye contact, considering his form is meant to be dominant. She was no submissive. “You always have the perfect timing, don’t you.” and she had scouted out any looters, she came back to her room for batteries. “Jackson is on it, and i’m meeting up with him right now. So excuse me, seems you’re blocking my direction.”

“And you know as well as I do that if I tell you to get the fuck off your ass and do as I fuck say, you’re gonna get the fuck off your ass and do as I fucking say. I need them caught, fucking yesterday and if you can’t do the fucking job I assigned you then I’m sure as hell that there’s someone else in this town that can.” He growled, his nerves honestly too fucking shot to be dealing with her and her snippy attitude. She wanted to act like she was the shit? He needed results in order for her to have the privilege. Keeping his gaze locked on her as she approached him, Wolf rolled his eyes before stepping out of her way. “Fucking get on it then.”
