Enough rant so I’m gonna list all the AU I like for Johnlock and Mystrade.

・Soulmate AU - Holmes brothers thinking that they don’t have soulmates, that they are too cold for soulmates, that they are too broken to have soulmates, meet John and Lestrade. They show the world that they are capable of love. They in fact are humans like everyone else.

・Actor AU - I like this to indulge in a little “all-the-bad-things-that-happened-are-just-on-screen-and-Johnlock-are-happy” mood

・Vampire AU - John being a vampire that doesn’t like to drink blood so always low on iron, thus always grumpy until he tries Sherlock’s blood after the fall and he enjoys it too much. I’m probably still not over twilight but who cares? Tumblr is a place to be cringe.

・Hanahaki disease AU - I just need John to find Sherlock’s flowers in the bathroom. He obviously mistakes it for love for Irene but boy can he be wrong.

・Cakeverse - this is purely because I think Sherlock would taste nice since all he consumes is sugar. But then I’m not into carnivalism so milder version of cakeverse where fork finds cake’s tears or sweat tasty.

・Royalty AU - this isn’t even much different from the canon but AU where Sherlock is a part of royal family and John is a head of military.

・Time Travel AU - this one is for when I want to cry because too many depressing events to make a happy time travel AU. I like John time travelling to the fall but not being able to change anything without killing someone. He has to choose between Sherlock and others.

・Telepathy AU - soulmate AU but specifically the AU where soulmates can hear each other. The stronger the bond, the clearer and further away they can be to hear each other. The fall doesn’t happen and we are all happy.

・Ice skating AU - I just like yuri on ice too much to the point I have to have every ship compete in ice skating. Although I think Sherlock would enjoy fencing more.

・Serial Killer AU - AU where Sherlock was the real consulting criminal behind everything and he controls everything in London with John. This is my guilty pleasure because I always talk about how I love Sherlock for wanting to be good to the society despite a series of events that could have been his enemy arc. So yeah, but I just like him smiling behind everything.
