As if it was the first time.
The bright light slipped from the window slowly, Drew's eyes were opened by then, once he had woken up he couldn't go back to sleep again so he focused on watching his beautiful wife resting next to him and snuggling close to her frame.
Laying on his side he caressed her cheek, running his fingers down the side of her face adoringly, careful not to wake her up just yet in case she was too tired or needed her sleep. His dark brownish eyes ran around her features, thinking how lucky he was for having her, suddenly starting to remember some memories they shared, thinking that there were times he didn't deserve her, that there were even more times he thought he was so glad and blessed to have her in his life.
Leaning slowly he placed a soft kiss to her lips, pulling back just then to continue on his task to admire her silently until his hues caught a glance of a little box he remembered well. Standing up from the bed he went to take it within his hands, the little music box, the very first one he had given her. Tapping the surface he went to sink into the blankets by her side again, his place of comfort and safety, he laid down next to her winding the box and placing it between the two of them.
Drew listened to the melody, watching the colors wind up to the air and admiring her once again. "And to think..." he whispered softly, smiling just as tender "I remember that day as it was yesterday..." a soft breath went into his lungs and he sighed happily "I love you..." Scooting close he wrapped his arms around her, holding close to him and peppering kisses to her skin as if it was the first time he held and kissed her.

Drew quirked a brow and tilted his head when he heard her. "I'm I'm not homeless..." he began before he got the joke and chuckled. "Oh you... yes I play there, Haze" he nodded efusively, grinning happy and proud. Giving a last look at the jar tip he took it and flashed her a soft smile. "Thank you. You have saved my morning coffee cup" he laughed putting it on his pocket. "I love coffee... do you love coffee?" Drew turned to the young one with a tilted head and curious stare that lasted three seconds as another phrase came to his lips. "I'll have to remember to take it back tomorrow, yeah..."
He seemed completely perplexed. “No… actually… I thought you were homeless and figured you might need this…” She smirked before giggling slightly, “Yes it’s yours. You play at the club down the way right? You forgot your tips!” She held the jar out for him, still smiling. He was a handsome fellow to be sure, and even if he seemed a bit fuzzy, she couldn’t help but be mildly intimidated by his frame. Alice chocked up her ‘good samaritan’ deed to her own sheer boredom. Let’s face it, life as a clerk for a book store was definitely less than exciting.

Drew had kept singing, and dancing a bit as he walked down to his apartment, yeah, an elegant dressed man that looked serious had this side that most of the time he didn't show, but when drunk, oh dear did he gave people a chuckle or two. Hearing a voice behind him he stopped in his tracks looking to both sides of the street. A slight frown on his face as the colors in the air were blurry -he had never gotten them blurry before- "I think I might have taken a bit more thaaaaan I should have" he muttered, when a blonde lady stood in front of him. A tip jar. His tip jar, he blinked once, twice... Looked up at her. "That's mine?"
Alice had stuck to cider for the evening, and even then the mild alcohol content still made her head a little fuzzy. She had turned to drop an extra tip into the piano man’s jar, and her smile faded lightly when she saw he’d left. However, sitting on jet black instrument was a small jar brimming with dollars. Quickly she took it from the piano and rushed outside, hoping she’d catch him.
Sure enough, he was just rounding the corner and she hurried to catch up with him, noting his voice echoing into the night. “S’cuse me!” She shouted, her breath getting caught in her throat, “S’cuse me! Sir! I believe you left this!” Alice finally reached him and beamed, presenting the jam-packed tip jar to the night club’s entertainer.
