HIS ATTEMPTS TO NOT GIVE HIMSELF AWAY ARE FUTILE.   He’s a nervous wreck. The drumming of his fingers against the only truly familiar aspect of this world is in beat with no tune in existence. This anxiety seems to feed off her excitement. Fabian has faced tough crowds before but this level of competition is something new. – Something a bit scary. To be so conscious of the skin he is in, of the impression he needs to make throws him off his kilter. The world tips, the train car rocks but he is brought back by a nudge.

EXCITEMENT OUTWEIGHS ALL NERVES.   She only wishes the same for him. The thought of stepping off of the train, being in her house again, sleeping in her own bed, it always seems to calm her. And just when she gets used to the comforting setting, she begins to miss that other world. There’s something special about home, Doe’s only got a little bigger. She grips Fabian’s hand with both of hers, becoming busy with tapping his knuckles.
