I hid a thing in my sister’s house when she moved in 2021, I told her I hid something and that she’d know it when she saw it.

And during the holidays my sister told me that her husband has been actively and obsessively looking through their house, in every cupboard, every closet, on top of every cabinet and through the rafters, looking for this thing for the past three years.

Which is great, but what kills me is that they already found it. A couple months after I hid it I visited their house and the thing was out in the open, sorted with other things, and I went “Ah darn they found it ah well c’est la guerre” but apparently they didn’t know that it was the thing I hid in their house.

So while I thought the game was over and I completely forgot about it, my brother in law has been scouring through their house and checking the rafters going “Where the fuck is it what the fuck is it what did they leave in our house” which is the best possible way this could’ve ended.

More Maul studies! Slowly but surely I’m dialing him in. I’m trying to work towards more expressiveness. his proportions are really tricky, but I really enjoy the gaunt look of Rebles Maul. Experimenting with different ways to draw the eyes…just playing as usual. Just love him a lot.

Genuinely love how in the first couple of seasons people will see Ezra and be like "dude wtf is wrong with this kid - who raised you??!" Then they meet Kanan and they're like "oh, that makes sense"

Like Rex and the Grand Inquisitor both calling Kanan undisciplined will never not be funny to me

when I was 14 I worked in a grocery store and one day I got to bag Stephen King’s groceries and of course, being the little horror fiction nerd I am I was completely starstruck

I think he thought I was gonna ask for an autograph because I was not even lowkey staring I was full on moon-faced and bouncing and he kept looking over at me hesitantly like aw jeez kid fuck off

anyways I finally managed to squeak out that I was a huge fan and asked for advice on writing, “how do I write as well as you do?” in my horrible thick German accent and broken ass English and he gave me the best writing advice I have ever received

“shit kid, stop worrying about how other people do it and just write your story”
