"I'm the best kind of weird you will ever meet, Donna Noble." The Doctor grinned at her, broad and happy. She was so young. So far before he met her.

"Weird bloke with a spoon on his nose called the Doctor. Seems my luck to be stuck with the people who’ve gone nutters."

"I’m Donna. Donna Noble."

The Doctor didn't move closer when the Master winced, but he raised his hand to cup his cheek--worried. "Radiation, almost immediately after you...did that." He didn't go into detail about what happened. He didn't think he would care to know. And he just didn't want to. "What did they do to you?"

outofplaceoutoftime replied to your post:
Jack straightened up and snatched his key back when the door opened, and he was surprised by the face he saw. "Doc?" Jack asked, a small smile forming on his face. "I, I saw the blue box and I, I just thought maybe it was you this time..."
"Who else do you expect to see when you knock on the door of a blue box?" The Doctor grinned at him, swaying back and forth in the doorway--his hands on either side of the door frame. "Or are you looking for the old me?" His grin wavered at that.

The Doctor ran out of his box and straight into someone, he grabbed them by their shoulders to make sure they stayed upright, "Sorry! I'm off to see something that has five heads--or six, probably five though."

The Doctor looked over at the person who had caught him with a spoon hanging off of his nose. He didn't remove it, he just grinned, "Hello! I'm the Doctor, how can I help you?"

"There are plenty of species that are able to change faces. They shapeshift entirely! I'm surprised you haven't come across them if you're really from the 51st century." The Doctor then grinned a little when Jack played with his bowtie, having jerked a little when he kissed his cheek. "Thanks, bowties are cool."
+5

"Well.. You are the only species I know who can change their faces." He grinned, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek and then play with the Time Lord’s bowtie. "Cute bowtie by the way."

The Doctor was stunned at his luck, running into Rose Tyler. His Rose Tyler.
Well, not his anymore. Formerly.
He didn't like that word. Formerly. It hurt his hearts.
"Oh, ah--yes, it is a bit of a general description. I sort of lost her." He ran his fingers through his hair out of habit, "Actually it's more like she wandered off."

The Doctor recognized himself and couldn't help but grin, "Next time, yeah, I will." He grabbed the lapels of his former self's rainbow coat and wriggled them a little, "Cool coat." He quickly spun around the blond and kept walking.

The Doctor steps back looking at the man in front of him. “No. Sorry I can’t say I have.. At least none come to mind… And do be careful where you are going.”

Jack could hardly believe it, when he saw the big blue box standing in the alley. Like a siren beckoning him forward, he couldn't resist, and approached the TARDIS, or what he hoped was the TARDIS, felt like the TARDIS, anyways. Approaching it, he gave three sharp knocks, hoping the Doctor was in, before pulling out the key he'd kept all these years to try and use it in the door, see if it'd still work.
At the sound of the knocks, the Doctor peaked out from beneath the console. Who knocked on the door a police box?
Someone who knew what was inside.
He scrambled out from the wires and up the stairs, straightening his tweed jacket and bowtie before answering the door.
"Jack…"
"How did you find me?"

"Um...excuse me, thank you--whoops!" And the Doctor tripped over several pairs of feet and caught himself on his hands before standing up again. Then he met the stare of the person in front of him. "Ah, hello! Have you seen a girl about this high, brown hair, funny nose?"

I had to make sure you weren't a hallucination, He thought though he didn't verbalize it. The Doctor just offered Jack one of his trademark grins, "How could you tell who I am? Did the bowtie give me away?" He straightened his on reflex with that little twitch of a smile.

Jack blinked and furrowed his brows together slightly as he was poked. “Why did you poke me?” He mumbled. A smile of his own pulled at his lips. “Good to see you too, Doctor.”

The Doctor matched his step back with one toward him, it was a subconscious gesture on his part. "They are only lost if I can't remember where I put them." He reached up to touch the Master, but pulled his hand away at the last moment, "How are you...How are you alive?"
