Aphrodite and Melinoë are close to opposites in aesthetic, but they aren't opposed at all in my practice. And I like working with both.
I am partial to believing that love and community are the most important aspects of human nature, the aspects we must nurture to their fullest extent.
I work in fashion, and helping kids feel good in their own skin and express themselves in their appearance is a passion of mine.
Also
I have seen ghosts my whole life. I think it is important to send them my respect and leave offerings. I've even found myself leaving gifts on the altar for the ones who have passed on and been forgotten.
I used to have nightmares nightly due to PTSD before I started praying to Melinoë, and prayer has helped me work through my psychosis. Melinoë has helped me through so much.
And they aren't necessarily opposites. Aphrodite is the goddess of love, and Melinoë encourages love for the dead, helping to bring offerings to them.
Both are different, but both are important to me.

Messing around with a saber that's too big for me. lol it's my font (like the software settings) but I can't properly use it until I have a shorter blade lol
Also, bro said I could post him using it so there's some of what it's supposed to be at the end.
It's electric and thunder sounds with a teal blade, but my mic is kinda crap tbh

I think we (as a society) should recognize that when somebody gives a reason for their apology, as long as they also say how they will improve and act on that, they aren't "just making excuses." It seems like an integral part of an apology to me tbh and, personally, I prefer a reason, otherwise it gives off the impression either they were being intentionally rude or don't actually know why they did what they did -and how can you fix something if you don't understand why you did it?
NOTE: This is NOT about people who use it as an excuse and don't change. This is about self-awareness and how it should be used it in an apology.

Since all the audiobooks I own are on my phone, I decided to make a little "bookshelf" for them!
ID: A poster board painted to look like a bookshelf with a tape recorder on the second shelf down and audiobooks painted on it.
