Back again with another CotlxEpic animatic! although not as good as the last one, but eh this one was made on a whim on Halloween night ^^

kinda forgot about it and recently picked it back up to 'finish' it bc I didn't like having another wip forgotten-

Anyway, this is the beginning of my cotl au called Crown Collision! Right after fighting the one who waits, lamb decides on what his fate will be...

so these are my first ideas for a nari design. i am not entirely satisfied so this probably wont be the final version.

for my lamb i mostly just did what looked cool to me, this one actually has more thought in it.

i wanted nari to look like a black blob, i think that could look really cool regarding silhouttes. i also imagine him creeping about at night since hell blend in with the darkness (hence moon necklace). he is like one of those lanky, quiet cat types.

i liked the idea of adding white stripes to his back, like a skeleton. its also a call back to his chains which i also placed to resemble a rib cage. the scars on the wrists arent anything original, i saw many artists do it to leave traces of his chained past.

i wasnt sure on how to include the time motive. as "the one who waits" i thought including the passage of time would fit, especially considering the cycle of life and death. i think ill rework that part.

the clothes he wears in the cult are inspired by nuns. after warming up he is the lambs closest confidant since he has knowlege on the crowns power (and nuns are married to god so theres that, wink wink, my in game nari also has the celibacy trait). speaking of the crown, he has two strands of hair that vaguely represent the shape of the crown.

ive drawn the lamb a couple of times now but their appearance kept changing so i hope making a reference sheet of my lamb will help. added some changes here and there. i really like this version so ill stick with it but i can imagine the horns being a pain to draw from different angles for animatics and stuff...
