It feels like the Christmas break where Ros was kinda left to fend for herself and the castle, but now people are trying to tempt her away from the Kingdom instead of attacking her. Instead of physical attacks she can hide from or ask for backup for, they’re trying to lure her to their side not only with words but with company. The people she defended the Kingdom’s home from are now sitting by her side when not even her own comrades are. Owen is stirring up trouble with the other factions (literally burning bridges in some cases) and Sneeg is bickering with the other side Ros wants to get along with; the Keepers. I think Ros’ wish to be friends with everyone is causing her to unconsciously strain her relationships with others in the Kingdom’s ranks especially now that the Kingdom’s enemies are reciprocating her advances(??) and I’m interested to see where she goes with it. She clearly has loyalty to the KoF for choosing her since the beginning but recently they either haven’t been there or have acted contrary to her personal values/her perceptions of them, which means it’s only natural for those relationships to strain a little.

but yeah there could be so much character growth if more of them came back from The War man where are they man we could be writing essays on the development of tangofrags character as one doomed to fight through unfortunate circumstances thrust upon him by a curse nobody will ever help him cure because of their own amusement at it we could be analysing his relationship to mythicalsausage we could be crying and dramatically blowing our noses on handkerchiefs as we proudly watch ros roscumber continue to gain confidence as the archmages apprentice we could see tina and clown interact and work through their entire set up plotline we could be getting more archmage lore via molluskus’ attempts at devouring everything that trclown is/was we could get continuation on pili’s plotline with him we could get foolish’s end throne back via ransom we could see foolish actually wage war against the keepers and snails we c
