since the curtains are the same i wonder if the one rei is ordered to kill is not kazuki but miri, in order to test his loyalty to the organisation

since rei's hands are bound, he lets kazuki know about it (the last scene in the trailer?), kazuki rushes to get miri and her mom out of that house but before he can leave too ogino sees him, takes that as a betrayal to the organisation and decides to kill him?

i wonder if we're gonna have a moping kazuki in ep 11 or the exact opposite.

he always wears his heart on his sleeves except when it comes to showing sadness. so i wonder if he's going to (try to) act like his usual happy chaotic self, as if nothing's wrong, in order to not break down completely. although rei can call his bullshit from a mile away he doesn't say anything, until kazuki accidentally sees a toy miri left behind, a drawing or the "family" paper and finally loses it.

NOT KAZUKI MAKING THE CAT ANALOGY AND THEN PROCEEDING TO WRAP A SCARF AROUND MIRI JUST LIKE HE DID FOR THE CAT

they love her so much, they're willing to rip their hearts out just to see her safe and happy, living a normal life dar from all the danger

i feel like that's what makes kazuki and rei such great parents. throughout the whole ep we see them put miri's needs before their own or making decisions on what they think would be best for miri, even if it mean they're the ones who'll be hurt by the outcome.

since we know kazuki and rei are at the daycare here to pick up miri when they see her mom waiting outside

so i REALLY hope this scene is not kazuki seeing miri and reaching to hug her and miri running towards her mom and hugging her instead CUZ MY HEART WON'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT

i was reading some of the critism about the latest episode concerning kazuki's wife and i can see where it comes from but at the same time i won't say i agree completely.

Of course, it would've been interesting to find out more about kazuki'a wife instead of her just being described like every other dead wife in media but i feel like they didn't focus on that as much because that wasn't the point?

like the main focus was put on kazuki's pain over losing her and the future they could've had, it was about his conflicting emotions of starting to feel happiness again but feeling guilty "of being fulfilled by something else", of having a family he never got to have with his wife.

So while making the wife's character more complex and developed, would make her into a more compelling character, in my opinion, it wouldn't add much to the topics of grief, fear of change, of forgetting, etc. which were the main focus of the episode.
