Right. Being dragged from one time to another wasn't new or surprising to him. His whole existence as a hero was to go from one fight to another, save as many as he could and, in general, kick whoever started the entire problem. He was a veteran of many conflicts such as those, he could even be described as a professional if it wasn't for his temper. Case in point! The lady who'd dragged her to this stadium was currently in the middle of making his blood boil.

"Alright alright, sheesh! I heard you the first time, you don't gotta give me the whole spiel. I gotta fight for humans, kill a god, then go home and eat a sandwich. Right? No need for a speech."

Estaba trabajando en él por puro placer, era un hobby suyo el desmontar máquinas, ver que las hacía funcionar y luego mejorar esas partes. "Sigo sin creer que hiciste que una bicicleta alcanzara a uno de mis autos usando solo suspensión electromagnética. ¡Eso no deberia de pasar!"

Claro, ese auto era solo una prueba de concepto. Quería probar que si, efectivamente, uno podía ponerle un motor de cinco cilindros que fuera más potente que los motores a reacción de turbina a un auto de los 70... ¡Todavía no había armado el motor, pero la idea era buena! "¿Voy a tener que rearmar ese auto, sabías?... Al menos fue divertido."

Well... That was a new feeling. Having his shadow stolen and used to cover someone or something else? He'd have to figure that out later. That was a weird feeling. He gave the small imp a once over, he'd never seen anything like her... She was intriguing.

"I mean, you could apologize for stealin' my shadow! What if I needed it? Also, if you're gonna take stuff without askin', at least buy me dinner first, alright?" He couldn't help but be a bit snarky, it was just his nature.

"Right..." Damn it, he hated it when they made sense. Whenever that happened he always ended up looking like an idiot, like right now! It hadn't been enough that she'd caught him by surprise thus knocking his sword out of his hands with an admittedly nice riposte and disarming move, but now she was also the voice of reason? He really was slipping.

Still, she made a perfect point. It was warfare 101, so the aasimar sighed and, after taking a moment to retrieve the greatsword that was now on the ground, he nodded at her. "Alright alright, cool your engines hot stuff... You make an excellent point... How do we proceed then? Do we just slash and stab our way outta here? Or d'you got somethin' more elaborate than that?"

Not to say he didn't have a head for tactics and strategies. He just figured it'd be a gesture of faith to let her take point on this.

"That's ominous as hell..." And yet, not the first time he'd heard something like that. Someone, years ago had told him, 'I'll do whatever it takes to stop 'em! Defeat 'em, gut 'em! If I gotta kill, I'll kill!' Those words were pretty much burned into his mind and in some cases, guided how he approached dealing with evil.

It wasn't that surprising to hear something like that coming from her of all people. "Y'know, you're startin' to remind me of someone I knew years ago. Minus his jackassery... He had the same approach to fightin', except a bit more violent. Swear to god, he once told me that I could and should use a devil's arm or any appendage as a blunt-force weapon if I was ever in a bind." And truth be told, he'd done it once or twice.

How long had it been since he last slept? That was a great question... One that he had no idea how to answer. He had a bad habit of losing track of things like these, he could go on quite a bit without sleep, and his record so far had been 4 days, but he just didn't know how long it'd been this time. "I 'unno." He said in between yawns. He held up a finger, signalling her to give him a minute, once he was done yawning he shrugged.

"Honestly, I dunno how long it's been since I slept. How long have I been helpin' you out? Cause that's roughly how long I've gone without sleep. I get the feelin' that it's been more than four days... Give or take. Why? Do I got bags under my eyes or what?" Considering his yawning, there was a good chance that he did, in fact, have bags under his eyes.

Still, he had to keep going. Help her out where he could. "Don't you worry your pretty lil' royal head, I can go on for a bit more. I ain't passin' out on ya!"
