playing acoustic guitar after not touching it for two week instead of bass guitar is literally a mind-altering experience. why are my hands suddenly so big 😭 i have to use considerably less force while handling acoustic guitar unlike bass. also i can stretch my fingers however i want now (before playibg bass that was really hard. small hands :( )

in Disco Elysium I was expecting there to be some kind of “addiction mechanic” that would add a long-term downside to taking drugs, and was surprised not only by the absence of any such mechanic but also that the benefits of drugs greatly outweighed the cost. anyways fast forward to the late game and I was downing three bottles of pyrholidon and smoking an entire pack of cigarettes before attempting any check, and it was only then I realized there was in fact an addiction mechanic

everybody hates on beyond canon but i actually think rose foreseeing her own death and deciding that the best possible thing to do is to sabotage her relationship with kanaya beforehand so she can move on as quickly as possible is really interesting actually. i think it makes complete sense that a seer of light who's retained those powers for so long would become detached from the present and begin to only see things as inevitabilities. in rose's mind this is a kind thing to do because kanaya will have to live so much longer mourning rose than loving her. she loves kanaya and hates the idea of prolonging her suffering in any way but she's become so lost in the future that she fails to consider the harm she's doing right now
