My latest comic for The Nib was written by my friend Mike Thompson- it’s his first published comics work!
The Nib has been a steady source of income and a huge support to me and many other indie cartoonists for years. They publish amazing work, but will be cut loose by their financial backer in July. You can read the official post about it from editor Matt Bors here. They are still running their kickstarter-funded print magazine, but have to put digital publishing on hiatus until they figure out their next steps. If you’ve been thinking about supporting their membership program, now would be a good time. They have levels from $2 to $40 per month. I really don’t want this to be my last Nib piece!

Found my 53yo very-much-not-online father in the kitchen today meticulously arranging cutlery on the countertop and i was like 'what are you doing' and he looked up at me with the world's most shit-eating grin and said "Your mother told me this is how you rick-roll the Youth" and i looked over and it was fucking. Haven't made too many updates here recently, but that's because I'm in the process of writing a script for the webcomic about these characters! I don't have an estimated timeline for when the first pages are going to be out, but I am nearly done with chapter 1's script. I want to get it sketched and out first!
I know I'll be posting it here and on Comic Fury! And maaaaybe newgrounds as a third (DA is ew, and I don't know where else to post outside of here and ComicFury as for sure posting places).

werewolf bf that half-shifts when he gets too upset or riled up. like you hear an angry "FUCK" and out of the corner of your eye you see him go from human-enough-looking to a puffed up furball. You have to go over and stroke the bristled fur until he calms down.
