hearing her call him a hypocrite didn’t phase him. she knew why he didn’t want her doing drugs, he didn’t need to spell that out for her. the reason for him offering them to her now was because he wanted to feel numb. he looked her direction and shrugged, before turning to the pile of powder on his desk and separating it into lines. what happened next was completely unexpected. he saw a blur of an arm then a cloud of white, slowly drifting towards the floor. “what the f-” his own breath cut him off as he felt her hands pushing against his chest. dark hues found their match. he searched her features for an answer, finding only anger. his back pressed against his chair, pinned down by her acrylics. a sharp sting shot through his nerves feeling them puncture his skin. his eye twitched, a half flinch as he released a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. this was uncomfortable to say the least. “hm” he acknowledge, barely. “and what exactly am i afraid of?” he countered between strained breaths, the veins in his neck protruding needing to work a little harder to keep the blood flowing. this conversation was tedious, nothing they haven’t discussed before, though this time he wasn’t talking to his girlfriend. could she even be called a friend? what was she to him? only the love of his life but he’d never admit that. “call me what you want. but at least i’m not a fucking liar. now get the fuck off me” he pushed himself up (not without internally screaming from the pain) for a little more stability to force her claws out of his neck and shove her to the ground. “ah fuck” he exclaimed when she was finally detached. his hand immediately found the bleeding holes around his neck “you bitch. fine, you wanna fight? we can fucking fight. but i think we know who always wins in the end.” her. it’s her. she always wins. physically, it goes to jagger. but in every other way, the win went to rosie. he pushes her towards the discarded coke with his foot like one would push a box aside. “lick it up. i know you want to” he scoffed.

       sienna shared a knowing look with the bartender, the hint of a smirk toying on her features as the boy handed him over the card. it was a silent conversation between the two, brief and subtle as he turned, plucking the bottle of gin she preferred from the shelf behind him. dainty digits stirred the current drink she was sipping on, paying it slightly more attention than the boy beside her before her gaze flits to his as she swivels in her chair to face him, knees bumping against his, “that’s a valid point,” she murmurs, lips jutting out and eyes looking up in mock thought as she taps a digit to her lips to add to the facade. “do you know where we are? what this bar and lounge is attached to?” she asked, leaning forward towards him slightly. “if you walk out those doors there,” she pointed towards an exit behind him, “you’ll walk right into a hotel lobby.” she pauses, teeth falling on a lush bottom lip in a teasing smile, “do you know what the name of the hotel is?” her head tilts to the side in question but she doesn’t let him get a word in, “V.” the letter slips pass her lips easily, “- brooklyn location, but those are details that don’t really matter.” the back of her hand slides her brown locks behind her shoulder, exposing prominent collarbones before she asks him one final question, “do you know what the V stands for?” it’s rhetorical at best since the answer slips out of her like honey a second later, “valmont.” she swivels the stool back into place, taking another sip of her drink before looking at him, “it just so happens to be my last name, in case you didn’t know. this hotel, -  this entire city practically, - is my birthright.” the same smirk twirls back onto her features, “i could get you to move if i wanted to.” 

that tone. he’s heard that tone before. information was about to be revealed, and from the words she chose he concluded that it would be of grand significance. he politely followed her trail of words, answering her questions in his head. yes he knew where he was. yes he knew it was attached to a hotel. it seemed as if her voice held a familiarity in which he wanted to follow. but why? who was this girl. as the final question came, so did the answer he was waiting for. he lifted his drink to his lips, taking a slow and calculated sip. she was a valmont. the last time he would of seen her would of been when he was twelve back when he lived with his father’s side of the family, but he definitely recognized her now. hearing her last comment made him internally scoff but outwardly, he formed the smallest smile against the rim of his glass before setting it down on the bar. ‘not if you want to keep the power on’ he thought to himself. jagger was a carrington. as in carrington atlantic. his family was old money, owning power plants dating back five generations. their new branch covering eco friendly power alternatives. however, he wasn’t big on name dropping or flaunting his inheritance. he had everything he wanted, he didn’t see a point. though she spoke down to him, jagger kept his composure. “you could if you wanted to” he repeated, “so, i take it you don’t want to. how about we get on a first name basis? my name is jagger”

Luana was currently focused on her computer screen while playing a game when she heard footsteps behind her, soon then pausing it to see who was intruding. “Ever heard of knocking ? I could’ve been naked,” she joked, soon then saving and quitting out of it. “ You okay ? ” It wasn’t often that he came over during the day but she wasn’t one to mind it anyway. She soon then followed his order, bouncing onto the bed with a small chuckle before throwing a leg and draping an arm across his torso. “I’m here.”

he peeked his head out of the pillows and adjusted himself so she’d fit comfortably in his arms. an uncharacteristic smile saved for moments such as this grace his normally stoic features as he playfully peppered her face with kisses. “you can still get naked” he joked, giving her quick squeeze. “yeah i’m good, my patient is in a coma so they cut me early. feels like i haven’t seen you years so you know, needed to get me a daily dose of you. how’re things? anything new?”

between the pressure building up between his legs and her velvet voice telling him everything he wants to hear, he needed to do more. he wanted to do more. he wanted to give her pleasure through pain. feeling her warm palm rubbing against him, he emitted a half groan, pulling her hand away. he pushed himself up and off the bed to remove his pants and boxers. the articles of clothing fell easily around his ankles. without warning, he pulls her towards him by her leg and flips her around so that she is on her stomach. she wanted to be his and he wanted to make sure everyone knew who she belonged to. he takes her hips in his hands and props her up on her knees. “when i’m done with you, everyone will know who you belong to” he holds her steady and smacks her ass with an open hand, leaving a bright red print against her skin. “hows that feel little slut” he does it again, then once more.

“haha she’s not going to see this right? ‘cause i’ll take it back. i’m kidding i’m kidding. i’m actually not but whatever. uhhh, i don’t really know where to start. the first thing that pops into my mind is that i love her. not that kind of puppy love. we’ve been through way too much to even pretend it’s a light and fluffy type thing. no, it goes far deeper than that. it’s like i want to see her do well type of love. like i hope her dreams come true type of love. like.. like i want her to be happy type of love. even if that means us not being together. which is exactly where we are now. i know i’ve crossed the line on multiple occasions when it comes to her and letting her live her life or whatever. but people don’t know her like i do. i’m not going to air out her dirty laundry, i’m just going to say she shouldn’t be doing some of the things she does. it poses a real threat to her and that’s not something i take lightly. so, i have no choice but to intervene. i mean am i wrong? if someone you care about was doing something detrimental, wouldn’t you stop them? or at least try? you know, i keep waiting for the day she’s had enough of my bullshit. to be honest sometimes i push it hoping she’ll block me or ghost me, or just stop caring. ‘cause i know if she does it first it’ll be easier for me. she drives me absolutely crazy, but she’s the only one that i’d go crazy for. i should of just sang eminem’s crazy in love but i don’t trust everyone to know that song. okay, bye.”
