It’s no secret that Nancy’s in deep denial about her love of science fiction. Even when it’s obvious she gets defensive about it. When cornered she’ll claim that she doesn’t do the “Geeky” parts of genre stuff like fan fiction or cosplay. (Well… not much cosplay.)

Speculation

Speculation is a  science fiction periodical that includes short stories as well as critical essays. As Nancy will tell you, it’s one of the magazines that “real fans” read. Having it amongst the periodicals on the coffee table in the new waiting room  is one of Michelle’s latest ways of trying to convince Nancy to start working full-time. Whether this will work or not remains to be seen, but…

Real Babysitting

Gabriella has been with the band long enough to believe that they can’t function without a denmother. The fact that her new job might require her to do some real babysitting with Shilo’s kids comes as a surprise.
