Ok so this post inspired me to write a modern day version of The World Will Know where the newsies are going to a shitty American public school.

All those lousy teachers think they got us, do they got us?

NO!

All those lousy teachers think we’re lazy, are we lazy?

NO!

Even though we ain’t got grades to prove it, we’re so bright, I’m surprised we don’t glow

And the school will know!

What’s it gonna take to get our time back? Are we ready?

YEAH!

What’s it gonna take to get our lives back? CAN WE DO IT?

YEAH!

Wonder what we gotta do until we break the will of Mr. Bill and Joe…

And the school will know! And the district too!

Mr. Hearst and Pulitzer, have we got work for you

So the school don’t know

Well they gonna pay!

‘Stead a doing homework we’ll be changing lives today

And our ranks will grow

They ain’t got a clue,

ok so there’s a game me and my friends play called “don’t get me started” and basically someone gives another person a random topic and they have to go on an angry rant about it and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us at parties and car rides so I highly recommend playing sometimes with your friends

Dear Evan Hasen : Senior Year Halloween Headcannons

The whole squad came this year and met up at Connors house for a night of cursed festivities. Evan was a male version of Heather Chandler, it was way out of his comfort zone but he loved it, Connor was a high bat, Zoe went as a steampunk time traveler, Alana went as the blue Care Bear, complete with the onesie, and Jared topped of the group with a very extra and glittery Jojo Siwa costume.

They all started in the basement and kinda just fucked around down there, makeup and awful dance parties complete with a some of the candy Cynthia was going to give out.

“The stars aren’t even dumbass.” “Fuck you! I’m trying my best.”

Once they were done, they headed upstairs and ate Aldi pizza, chips, dip, and brownies that Heidi had made.

After dinner they all touched up their makeup, grabbed some shopping bags and headed out to the streets to get some candy from strangers!

While they were out Jared played some songs on his bluetooth speaker he had brought with him.

The songs he played included : Hej Monika, Boomerang, All Star, Time Warp, Calling All the Monsters, and of course I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

It took them all about 1 hour to complete their rounds, so they decided to head back to Connors for water, candy, and maybe some more of those brownies ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

They all headed back out, without candy bags and decided to just walk around the neighborhood and clown around.

They walked to the middle school playground and just hung out, until they saw these older kids that went to their school looking at them as they lie on the playground equipment.

They also saw police car lights and decided it was time to dash!

While walking back to Connors they walked past a police car searching three teenagers, and they looked similar to the ones who were staring at them 👀.

Turns out they were the same teenagers and they all could have been killed that night.

Back at Connors house they all went back into the basement, sorted, traded candy, and acted like absolute crackheads.

Everyone eventually went home absolutely drained, and they could all agree it was one of the best halloweens.
