How To Shift Realities
An in-depth guide by Vanessa Faron

Introduction & Disclaimer
By the time you are finished reading this, you will know how to shift. You will have all the information you need in order to shift to your desired realities. Whether you actually apply this information is your call. If you apply, you will shift.
If you come from a shifttok background like me, the chances are you’ve been exposed to an insane amount of misinformation and limiting beliefs. I managed to escape this through my own research but I’m aware not everyone has managed to do this. This is why I’m here. Shifttok is unfortunately still full of misinformation. I am not saying this with any malice or ill intention. I made this account to try and help.
Before I go any further I want to clarify a few things:
I do not think I’m a shifting God. I don’t have the ability to make you shift, you do. I’m merely here to provide all the information that I think is helpful in regards to the Law of Assumption, which is in my opinion, the key to shifting. I truly believe that we need to look at shifting through the manifestation lens in order to understand it.
If this rubs you the wrong way or doesn’t resonate, you don’t have to take my advice. Please be aware I will not be arguing about it anywhere.
Law of Assumption
Now, let's get into it. What is the Law of Assumption?
I don’t find it easy to summarise, but in the simplest of ideas it is that whatever you believe to be true, is true for you. It is not “just another shifting method” it is the reason for everything. This will make more sense later on.
Let me go over a few things you need to know about the Law.
Your imagination is reality. This is the most important bit of information I can give you. We’ve been taught to see the physical world as reality and that our imagination is just imagination. However, everything in our physical world comes from imagination. Our physical world is a direct reflection of us. Our assumptions, beliefs and our state/identity. The physical world is not a separate from us, we are in power over it.
I mentioned that the physical world is a reflection, so to make a simple analogy, think of it as a mirror. Now think of a real mirror. You look in the mirror and you don’t like your reflection. What do you do? Try and change the mirror? No, you don’t change the mirror. You change yourself. You fix your makeup, change your outfit, do your hair, whatever. You change yourself. The mirror now reflects your new look. Your new state. Your new story. This is how you should see reality. The physical world is reflecting your inner world. Therefore, how do you change the physical world? You change the inner world.
I will be using some shorter terms, so just to clarify:
Physical/outer world = 3D
Imagination/inner world = 4D
How to Apply
So how do you change the inner world?
It’s actually very simple. You just have to be the person who has what you want. I know that sounds vague so I will go into a bit more detail.
It all comes down to using your imagination.
Think about what you want. Since we are using the context of shifting, imagine your DR.
You can use various methods to imagine. Whether that’s visualisation, affirmations, scripting, whatever works for you. Use your imagination to see your DR. Use your imagination to be in your DR. Stay in imagination for a time and allow yourself to feel fulfilled. By fulfilled, I don’t mean that you have to feel strong emotions, you just need to feel fulfilled in the fact that you are already there. How do you know you are already there? You saw it in imagination. Imagination is reality.
When you accept that you are in your DR through imagination, your state naturally changes. What is your state? Your I AM. Your I AM/state is who you are. The reason some of you are not shifting is because your I AM is “I am someone who hasn’t shifted. I am someone who hasn’t shifted in the 4 years I’ve been trying.” The second you identify as a master shifter, you are a master shifter. Start saying “I am a master shifter.” Start saying “I am someone who has already shifted. I am someone who is currently in my DR.”
So then what? Simple. You continue with your day knowing that you have already shifted. Remember, you saw your DR in imagination, your reality. You have accepted that it’s true for you because it is. You are already there. You have already shifted. All you need to do is persist in the knowledge that you have already shifted. There is literally nothing else you need to do.
What? That’s it? Yep, that’s it.
What about attempting to shift? Why would you attempt to shift when you’ve already shifted?
What about methods? You. Do. Not. Need. Methods.
Thoughts on Methods
Unfortunately a lot of shifters are very heavily focused on methods. The general assumption of that community is that you just need to find the right method for you. This is false. The shift comes from you accepting your new reality and letting go of the old one. Methods can help you get there but they are NOT what makes you shift. You are what makes you shift. I need everyone to understand this.
I am not saying methods are useless. They’re not. They really do help some people. I never liked them or found them useful but I understand why some people do. If they work for you, wonderful. Use them. However, I stand by the fact you don’t need them. This is a controversial take but you also don’t need to meditate to shift. Again, I’m not saying meditation is useless because it’s definitely not. It is a great tool for regulating your nervous system when unwanted thoughts pop up and for observing your thoughts coming in. You do not need it to shift.
Another limiting belief that some shifters still have is that you need to “detach from your CR” in order to shift. That you have to be in an altered state of consciousness. You don’t. Shifting is instantaneous and it can happen at any time in any state. Wide awake, while asleep, it can happen ANY TIME. You are not travelling to another reality. You are changing the reality around you using the power of your consciousness. We shift awake literally all the time. It is no different when shifting to your DR.
How to Shift
To summarise it down to a step-by-step “method”, here is how to shift realities:
1. Identify where you want to be.
2. Be there in imagination.
3. Accept your imagination as reality. You have already shifted. You are already there.
4. Persist in the knowing that you have shifted and there’s nothing else to do.
That’s it. It is that easy.
There are a few more things I want to talk about to really make sure you are getting the most out of this information.
A lot of us feel 3D oriented, which I totally understand. We got into shifting with the intention of physically being in our DRs. Don’t worry, you will be. However, in order to physically shift you need to internally shift. By doing this, you need to take power away from the 3D. If you see your DR in imagination, then return to the physical world and start thinking “well where is it” or “why am I not there yet” you are not really understanding this.
The second you start looking at the 3D for confirmation that you’ve shifted is when you give power back to the 3D and you start thinking from a place of lack. You have to look within for your validation. The validation will always come from YOU. As I said before, your 4D is where “creation” begins. So when you are feeling doubts, return to imagination to feel fulfilled and then carry on with your day, keeping the feeling of knowing that you’ve already shifted because you HAVE.
YOU SAW IT IN IMAGINATION. YOUR REALITY. YOU HAVE ALREADY SHIFTED. YOU ARE ALREADY THERE.
That is literally all you need to do. Your 3D will naturally conform.
Don’t worry about the how and the when in regards to the physical shift. The how will happen however it happens, and the when doesn’t matter because time isn’t real anyway. You just have to know that it is done the second you see it in your imagination. It is done. The how and the when is none of your concern, you are already there. You’ve shifted! Congratulations!
Another thing I feel the need to address:
I’m aware some of you guys are shifting to escape from your current realities. I was like you and I completely understand and sympathise. I will give you the advice that helped me but if it doesn’t resonate, I apologise and understand.
Circumstances only have an affect on us because we give them meaning. Nothing has meaning until we give it meaning. There’s a phrase that helped me deal with unfavourable 3D circumstances: Observe, don’t absorb. Observe the unwanted things but don’t let it shake your knowing that you have already shifted. None of it matters because you are not here anymore. This did take me a while to come to grips with, so give it time. But keep on applying this and things will seem much easier. I applied this and after a while my anxiety levels were at an all time low and nothing was able to shake the knowing that I was already in my DR. Nothing here mattered. I already shifted.
Summary and Final Thoughts
Finally, to summarise again, here’s how to shift using the Law:
Change your state by changing your I am, using your imagination and accepting that you have already shifted. Persist in that knowledge. That is all.
As I mentioned before, a lot of you guys enjoy methods, which is totally cool, so if you would like to continue with methods, just identify as someone who shifts every time they do their method. If you still wake up in your CR when you do your method, no you didn’t. You successfully shift every time, remember? Just persist in that knowing and it will reflect in your reality.
This is all the information you need. However, if you would like to do your own research like I did, I recommend EdwardArt on YouTube and the Neville Goddard subreddit. They made it click for me.

How to stop fighting and just live the life of your dreams?
In short: relax.
It doesn’t matter what exactly you want to manifest - a nose of a different shape or an entrance to a Void State. You don't have to fight for your desires. So stop and relax.
Your desires will not go away if you just stop and relax. You have nowhere to rush, no matter what the circumstances.
You may think that if you allow yourself to stop struggling and live a calm and happy life right now, no matter the circumstances, then you will no longer be in control of the situation. But this is a false opinion.
Why do you need to stop and relax?
Because you are pure consciousness, even if you are not fully aware of it.
Pure consciousness does not know what it is to doubt, worry, fear, etc. Relaxation, calmness and enjoyment of the present moment - this is the true state of pure consciousness! And any destructive feelings and states are the ego.
Have you wondered why there are so many success stories from the Void State? People manifest absolutely any desires from this state instantly! Answer: because in this state there is no ego.
It is the ego that makes you fight. But now you know that you don't need to do this. Because you are more than your ego. You are pure consciousness and your mission is to enjoy life in a completely relaxed and calm state. Right now.
What can you do to stop and relax?
Literally stop.
Understand that any doubting or anxious thoughts are the voice of the ego, which is tied to the physical world, logic and the fight for a better life. But you are more than the ego. You are pure consciousness. When you become aware of such thoughts, literally shut up that voice of the ego and remind yourself that you are pure consciousness and you do not need to fight.
Observe the world around you. No thoughts. Just look, listen, touch, smell, taste if you can eat it. Realize that you are everything.
Breathe. Watch your breathing and understand that you are alive, which means that no matter what happens, everything can be changed (only now without a fight).
Give yourself permission to live fully and happily right now. Find pleasure in everything!
Don't be afraid that time is running out. Time is also an illusion. You may think that time is something that is constantly changing, but in reality it is not moving anywhere. You are simply aware of a certain time. If you are not attached to the ego, which thinks that everything should be logical, then you can even “move” through time (in fact, you are just aware of a certain time, but you are not moving anywhere, this is not a parallel reality).
Let go of control. Nothing bad will happen if you let go of control. Because you are still always in control of reality as pure consciousness, aware of it according to your inner world. Let go of control as the ego.
Relax. Do not hurry. Don't fight. Don't listen to the ego. Do not doubt. Do not be afraid.
What will happen?
If you really stop fighting and relax, you will finally realize that all this time you have been fighting for nothing. You don't have to fight. Why fight the natural awareness of reality according to your inner world?
What will happen? Your dream life! Life in abundance, richness, pleasure, tranquility, peace and relaxation and with all your desires.. This is what you really want, right? 😉
This is not a technique or a “five minute practice.” This is about your whole life. Just understand this.

how i managed to shift 62 times
This is my go to method that I use most times I shift. I shift using sleep paralysis about 4 times a week and successfully. I like this method because it puts me in the thoughtless state which allows me to shift and allows me to focus. You don’t need to focus to shift but when I don’t I tend to just not want to shift anymore because I’m so consumed with other thoughts. This is not the void, however. I first shifted with this about four years ago, and have shifted with this method about 62 times that I consciously remember.

Step one: I can’t focus at all when I close my eyes and even if I do it in the day I take a nap. So for whatever reason I put my feet up on the wall. And I shifted the first time I tried. This helps me because even when I do nod off I wake up not long after. And I can actually focus on where I want to go. So I put my feet up usually with a blanket covering my legs and feet. It doesn’t have to be super high up where you’re uncomfortable. Just something even slightly raised helped me lots. I usually stay still because it puts my body to sleep and calms me. But you don’t have to if it’s too uncomfortable.
Step two: Oh, I’m usually listening to a playlist that reminds me of the place I’m shifting to or a moment or memory from my dr. That way I’m not scared by the silence when the sleep paralysis kicks in. Play it quietly so you don’t get annoyed and pick songs that aren’t too distracting. It should just kind of blend in the background. Then I start thinking about memories of my dr and moments. Usually in first person unless I’m looking at photos in my memories. If I nod off, I usually wake up from the unusual position and begin affirming naturally.
Step three: I usually forget I’m affirming and just shift immediately. I open my eyes and then I’m there. Or I get sleep paralysis where I affirm and think I’m there. And I wake up in my dr pretty soon after.
I’ve never failed with this method because I think it just fits well with me. It’s loosely structured and hits all my strengths in visualization, affirmations and so on. So I’d try this for three nights and if it doesn’t work. Apply what did and drop what didn’t. Anyways I’m so excited to shift for the summer to Okinawa. I think this one is just going to be a solo adventure with me and my five dogs. I might permashift from there but I don’t know yet. Does anyone else like to shift for holidays?

HOW DO I SHIFT?
i’ve reached a point where the idea of sitting down and meditating, affirming, visualising, wbtb, void state, etc. etc. all bore me.
i know these r all tools which may help u reach your desired reality. however if we use loa, we can easily cut out methods (the middle man). all we see on shiftblr and shiftok is people telling us that if you persist and affirm you will shift or if you reach the void state u will shift. i’m not trying to deny these, but who’s to say u wont shift just by saying fuck it ill just wake up in my dr? bc the way i see it my dr is not a diff reality, it’s just the same reality manifesting itself differently. we all know what we say about the 3d and 4d. try to view shifting as just staying in this same reality but it’s your dr, if that makes sense? don’t think, i’m going to shift TO my dr, think i am in my desired state now and ALWAYS and watch it manifest in front of u. i think a lot of people’s struggle stems from their view of their dr as a faraway land that they can imagine living in but can’t imagine actually “leaving” this reality and “shifting” to that one. view your cr and dr as the same reality with diff 3d circumstances bc that’s what it needs to be for u to get rid of that thought of leaving this reality (which blocks u). just gts telling yourself that when u wake up u will be in your cr except all things will be identical to that of your dr. lmk if this works or helps anyone!!

Hi Maya I was one of your first anons back in March and I manifested my dream life. i just wanted to share some things that helped me, and hope we can all pass some knowledge so we all get our desires life. I did, you did, and everyone reading this can and will so let’s all try to help out by sharing a little of our journey. I’ll never create a blog because tumblr is a mess, so I’ll just share them here bc I trust you as a creator and I hope you agree with what I’m saying. Even if you don’t these are my assumptions and my truth
il get into my methods in one second but users of tumblr there are only 4 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE LAW (Inspired heavily by you bc I used your blog religiously) I will say you’re kind of too nice and I wish I had someone to yell at me like this, and tell me to stop being a victim!!! So if it sounds aggressive it’s because it is in the best loving way possible.OKAY SO.
★you need to understand that you want to fulfill yourself in imagination because you don’t care about the desires only how you feel about it. Bare with me it sounds stupid I know. But I don’t care about men or how they feel about me. I just want to feel worshiped and love, and I could fulfill that in my imagination. I don’t care about money??? It’s fucking paper !!! I just want to feel secure and financially free and want the feeling of buying my favorite clothes without looking at the tag. I GOT THE SAME FEELING FROM PINTREST EVEN WHEN I WAS POOR GODDAMNIT. I didn’t care about getting all As in school when I’ve always believed school is not a representation of intelligence. I wanted to feel recognized adored and respected which I had to feel for myself in my mind before it projected. I don’t care about looking skinny, I just wanted to feel snatched, I wanted to be envied, and feel pretty. And in my mind everyone wanted to be me even when I was ugly and fat. BUT I DIDNT FEEL FAT. Even with no change in the 3D I had my desires. This applies to all your desires, and you really need to understand that.
★you can affirm,visualize, understand states, understand non dualism, use the Bible or Torah m, wall twerk and say “I AM THAT BITXH,” use sats YADADAA . No one cares it doesn’t matter. you don’t have to feel anything or, even believe in wth you’re doing. As long as you think that having it in imagination means it’s yours that’s all that matter. I’ve read so many teachers, Neville, Abraham, Abdullah, Edward art, paid coaches, and they all do different things but say the same thing. FAITH IS KEY. That’s all that matters. Don’t let anyone you otherwise or tell you what you have to do. All teachers were once students, all success stories were once struggled failures, all masters were once lost okay. You are god so have some faith in yourself.
★YOU ARE GOD. You know what a god is, you know how a god works, you know god can do anything with a snap of a finger, kill anyone with a thought, look anyway it wants, have anything everything and create whatever. You are an omnipotent loving creator so create and give yourself everything.
★you can’t over consume, you can think from lack of whatever, and doubt can’t hinder you unless you think it does. Having a desire does not mean you’re lacking or else having the wanting for it would mean that too no? When creators say that I want to slam my head against the wall. Even now I have all my desires and I still think about them constantly. Thinking of new clothes to buy with MY WEALTH, I think of new food to eat that won’t even affect my SNATCHED BODY, i find new places to try and explore bc MY SOCIAL CIRCLE IS HUGE AND IM SO LOVED, I think of new makeup up to try to enhance my GORGEOUS PRINCESS FACE. I think of it in the same way from when I didn’t have my desired (I always had them in imagination but you know what I mean.) so there is no thinking from lack, or else you’re always lacking it lmfao the fuck. Anyways I doubted my abilities up until I manifested my dream life. I was okay with it in imagination and whether it reflected or not it was my escape I was content with. DID YOU SEE THAT. I had doubts up until the very end, and it doesn’t mean shit unless you think it does. Just affirm having doubts and obsessions only speed up your results. That’s really all it is.
Now to my story if anyone cares. I won’t make a blog for reason number 2 and 3 listed above. That’s all you need but if you want more info for curiosity go for it. I know I was curious and that didn’t stop me from getting my dream life. Anyways I have the same story as about everyone else here. My life sucked, I found the law, and it worked! HOORAY!!! But how did I do it???? Easy peasy, in a couple of steps.
☞ I tattooed my four rules above in my mind. When fear and doubt emerged I sunk that shit like the titanic and went with my laws that I created. It’s literally called the law of assumption like come on, stop fighting with yourself when you assume and create reality.
☞I ignored anything that I didn’t agree with. Sometimes I’d get so mad and be like WHAT NO WHY WOULD THAT BLOGGER OR COACH OR ANON or whoever say that?? But am I dumb ??? each of us have our own reality our own bubbles. The fact that it works for them and not for me started to only motivate me more. It doesn’t work bc I assume sooo… sooo why not just assume the opposite and focus on my rules like they did. The law is always in effect and working. Either it’s in your favor or it’s not. It’s up to you
☞I used affirmations bc repetition is the only thing that works for my logical brain. Anything can change with repetition. It’s basic science. So in the morning and night time I would affirm. ONCE. Repetition meant for me doing it everyday and not wanting. The rest of my day was lived in my imaginations. And the affirmation was to remind me in my vulnerable state that I already have my desires. That’s why my affirmation was “I have my desires no matter what, and everything I do brings them to me faster than the speed of light” it was kind of funny and made me chuckle but I accepted it as facts. Look guys…
☞I didn’t repress myself. If I cried or yelled or told myself “FUCK YOU” it wasn’t me tf. It was the devil or something. Be like those Christian fuckers who when their child comes out as gay…it’s the devil within them or whatever. I would talk to myself, yell when doubt emerged and when my thoughts weren’t the ones I wanted. It wasn’t fucking me so get the fuck out I have my desires so who tf are you ??? It will feel weird but you’ll get used to it trust me. If you’re uncomfortable it’s working. Getting rid of bad habits and your comfort in dwelling in bad thoughts is uncomfortable but it’s worth it.
I manifested my dream life back in March. I LITERALLY WOKE WITH MY DREAM LIFE. A complete 180. I won’t talk about my past life bc I completely revised it and I’m the only one who remembers so for the most part it feels like a long nightmare that has past. I’ll just talk about what I changed instead because that’s the stuff we all want to hear. Anyways I’ll just post some of my list here.

♥ I am 5’2, 100 pounds, I have natural stunning vixen beauty, and the most desires body in the world. I’m the beauty standard and people either want to be me or date me. I am naturally skinny and have no worries about my weight, I have clear skin that only gets clearer with my skincare routine, and I have my desired personality where I’m kind but also don’t put up with any shit from anyone because I know I’m that bitch. I also have great style and embody a princess !

Invest your faith into yourself more than anyone else and you’ll see how fast your reality conforms. I also adore your point about the state of lacking bc I never believed in that. If wanting your desires insinuates it’s not yours, we would have no thoughts since that’s where it all originates from. In fact Edward explains it pretty well.

YOU get to decide when you shift, and your "dr" is NAWT the powerful being in charge of u. you cannot sit here and be all boo boo kitty bc u didn't say "i am" 650 times. idc. u say it once and shift for all i care. your power lies in yourself. stop relying on a stupid tiktok method or the universe or whoever tf u think is in charge of ur reality. bc it's all you. the universe literally handed u shifting and said, here, have this information that will change your life so drastically. here, i chose you to know about shifting when i could have chosen anyone else. and you're gonna throw that away spending 2,3,4, 5 years just digging through shifttok and shiftblr for a new shifting method that's magically gonna work for you?? nah. blockages don't exist, they are excuses to make u feel better about your not shifting. don't try and blame you waking up here on a "blockage" bc guess what... guess who controls those... you. you choose what tf to believe and when tf u shift. u choose to wake up, you choose to fall asleep, you choose to continue breathing, you choose to open tumblr and read this far into my rant. you control and you create your reality. what do you think manifestation is. stop making excuses for yourself. a method is not going to make u shift. you are. im tired of seeing "NEW SHIFTING METHOD GUARANTEED WORK FIRST TRY" every time i open tiktok. nobody else will get you to shift with some method they came up with sitting in their bed eating hot cheetos and ramen at 2 am. you shift on your own accord.

sorry for the like acc insane shiftok style title but i wanna say this:
you aren't shifting, and you don't know why. i'll tell u something that may not be true for everyone, but is true for most people. you are doing too much. what i mean is, the whole obsession over shifting, shifting methods, begging shifters for the meditation/subliminal/method they used, when in reality you're actually hurting yourself by doing this. i've gotten so sick of even searching up "shifting method" or "void state" or "law of assumption" because there's no new information that'll magically make me shift. all i need is to realize that it's mine and the only thing stopping me is me, and how stupid does that sound? yeah. so stop searching for a new magical "everyone is shifting with this their first try" method, bc that's (kindly) bs, and just know you've already shifted. go about your day doing robotic affirmations (or don't, doesn't change the endpoint) saying "i am already in my desired reality". live your day as your dr self. so if you're spending 4 hours doing homework while watching a show, that's not cr you, that's dr you. approach your life with this mindset, and when you "attempt to shift" follow a minimalist approach. i literally tell myself "i don't even need a method because I've already shifted." the most i do is count to 100 and then affirm for like 2 minutes and fall asleep, which is pushing it at that. and i tell myself like ok who tf cares if i fall asleep in the middle? not me girl. idc. bc guess what!! my desired reality will not refuse itself to me because my body fell asleep at the number 64 instead of the number 100. like how stupid does that even sound to say. so stop overdoing it, approach your dr as you are already living it (even when you're just eating an apple bc believe it or not dr you is also a regular real person who has moments where they're just eating an apple in silence), and don't dtm on shifting methods. they only work for certain people and if by now, 3 years into your shifting journey, doing methods hasn't helped you, it ain't gonna hurt to give this a shot. i call this method the not a method method. bc it's not a "method" and there aren't steps or requirements, just know you're in your desired reality and don't put too much into it. i hope this made sense, i'm deliriously tired rn. love you guys and lmk if this works for you or helps u feel better.

so last night after literally a year of shifting attempts that end in me falling asleep or giving up i was able to sit there meditating and doing my method for an hour which is insane for me. and y’all when i say this restored my motivation cuz…
literally i was affirming “i am shifting to my waiting room right now” between numbers and then my heart started beating so so fast and i could barely breathe 😰 so then i started to affirm “i am” and my body started like vibrating??? it was shaking back and forth slightly but i could feel it and i wasn’t doing it consciously cuz atp my body was numb from the meditation and i felt disconnected. and then i saw multiple streaks of flashing white and i saw LITERAL STARS. no like fr i was fucking seeing the night sky above me with my eyes closed. i don’t know what happened because i was telling myself to stay calm and i continued affirming, but after about 2 minutes the symptoms just disappeared and i continued for 20 minutes or so before i just gave up cuz i had no more symptoms and i was starting to get really tired and physically exhausted.
i pray tonight is the night, cuz never in my life have i been so close!!
