I've been thinking about Frankenstein a lot, especially since I recently reread my favorite retelling of it (Junji Ito's). There are few classic characters I relate to as much as I do Frankenstein's monster. In my eyes, Frankenstein is about the fact that people have children just because they can, or they feel like they should, as if to prove something, and then aren't ready for what it entails. It's about child abuse and neglect. They become parents, intending, theoretically, on creating life, and then aren't ready to accept their offspring as fully aware, conscious and living beings, leaving them to fend for themselves. The child in question, is left wandering around, craving family and belonging and love. It causes them to harbor resentment, which turns them into a monster in everyone's eyes. That's what that story is about, for me, and there are few that represent me as much.

Chelsea Research Diary

Our Rediance said she preferred a more closed place to start those tests and a new specific was chosen , honestly isn’t that big ,is just a house in the middle of nowhere near the river but we can maintain control over the cobaias since it’s easy to see any movement and we don’t have woods around that close so spot them for possible extermination would be particular easy ,is easy to feel at home here, it have a certain familiar smells in the air that I enjoyed ,is a blessing that my queen always think about us ,we took the children in but one of them seems never to stop talking about wanting his mom, Sam said he just always like there since he was picked from prison , he don’t seem to understand that we are doing the best for them ,a chance of a new life without carrying the sins of the others ,another just shut herself emotionally ,probably a shock ,the other two are just expected either just following or talking back here and there and question as usual but I know that my Goddess will know what to do with them and we will see it on first hand as the hour approaches ,now I’m just patiently hair as the tall and pale figure facetimes her son and what I presume ,her actual.. Concubinator? suitor? I never know the right one to use ,anyway , to inform some potential absence this weekend in reason of important work but also ask about if one of his siblings had free time to answer some question she had about a specific theory and experiment that she didn’t know if it was done before and if it was ,the possible outcomes, they could check for themselves if necessary but only one at the time, team was limited for a reason and it was good to keep like that ,she spoken so soft the entire time but ended up abruptly after saying coldly that it was time to do the necessary or at least the attempt of right and hang up ,I just continued on as the clock strikes 6 am announcing the start of the first test

"After 3 days I think I found a nice cobaia for her and right on time, She will come back today as she promised, that I'm pretty sure ,and she will be satisfied with my work at least, the cobaia it's a young boy on the outsiders neighborhood nearby, He seems healthy and whole enough to me ,but really slow or too entertained for just going with it ,luckily this unfortunate soul will obtain a real and happy family alongside fame, I would die happy if I had that

The others also brought cobaias, some way less thoughtful than others but as I guessed, Four knocks announced that divine and incomprehensible stared at us and our offering in a way that I don't know what it means, but, she placed a hand on our heads to Appreciate effort and I'm fine with it, anyway ,we took all the four for today experiment and I can't wait to see what she gonna teach us with that, in any case Imma start write some information about the process just in case

Our Rediance suggested that all of them should be contained separately, in a room without windows, mirrors or anything that let them able to see themselves or others much, avoid unnecessary contact at all costs when we could and find ways to feed them with the door closed, these cobaias are of extremely importance and should not be dealt with alone or without preparation, interference in the test is strictly forbidden and will be meet in a punishment, the basic things, but I wonder why they can't see themselves? "

" Our Rediance came here again, I'm so grateful she let us, mere mortals, be witnesses of this step further to a new tomorrow, she even let us monitor them, I'm so excited ! I felt like I could explode or jump in her arms also Her body looks so delicate and angelical,I can't believe that she is actually like I imagined ,well not entirely,she is soo more pale than I've thought or seen and she Is definetely taller ,I felt so safe around ,she looks like she could be a estimated and detailed porcelain doll.. And to think she is actually able to protect us all make me shiver ,THIS IS SO COOL but she made us promise that any interference we would willingly accept death penitence or worst, that surely is understandable, is the cost for knowing way more, I made them promise ,after all, this is a golden opportunity we cant let slide

Our goddess finally decided to start and even let us help prepare, she said she need few subjects, the youngest we could find around,the better and also priorize outsiders and criminal ones, I wonder why not let our people get involved and maybe even get stronger but she just Shook her head on no,she said that it could costs the health of some and think about harming our family would be horrendous, how many would take till it worked, she was already considering the best options even with age, she said that outsiders wouldn't weight on the ppl hearts and if it worked then it was because they were blessed and found their real place and family, it was a chance to find one of those lost souls without purposes,she is so noble and thoughtful to think so ,I just agreed and she even smiled at me after that, my heart felt warm with her smile and eyes on me and now, with curiosity and interested on the project ,what could be this expansion plan? "
