Mental health awareness week and this year has been focusing around loneliness, something we all face from time to time and some more than others, particularly since the pandemic. I experience it when I feel like I'm facing my struggling and difficulties alone. It appears like a void that I could lose myself in if I don't do something about it. Nature is my go-to remedy. Even though I'm often alone in nature, I never feel lonely. There's a welcoming embrace nature gives me that reassures me and helps me see the bigger picture. The good people @mentalhealthfoundation are encouraging us to share and reflect on our experiences of loneliness so that we can shine a light on it and then find our own way of building meaningful connections to help us combat its affects.
